Pros +
- La situation la gentillesse du personnel la propreté et l’excellente literie
- I really enjoyed the location. The neighborhood is very lively, safe, and clean. It is extremely convenient, with metro line 6 at Edgar-Quinet station nearby, and Montparnasse hub just a few minutes’ walk away, offering easy connections to the rest of Paris (lines 4, 12, and 13).This is an ideal area for exploring the Left Bank: Hôtel des Invalides, Musée d’Orsay, Le Bon Marché, the Panthéon, Jardin du Luxembourg, and even Notre-Dame are all within walking distance (around 40 minutes). The neighborhood also offers many excellent Breton crêperies, as well as a wide choice of restaurants and lively bars.Regarding the hotel itself, I really appreciated the traditional French-style breakfast. If you are from the US, you might find the coffee different, as it is classic filtered coffee, but Nespresso pods are available for an additional fee.In terms of comfort, although the rooms are quite small, having a bathtub is very enjoyable. This is quite rare in Paris. Additionally, the room is very quiet, clean, and restful. Finally, it is a pleasure to stay in a hotel with such a rich cultural history, where painters and writers once lived.
- I am satisfied with my stay. I had a single room with satisfactory heat, clean bed and very clean bathroom. The bathroom had it's own window. I didn't taste breakfast, so i can't tell about. The Montparnasse area is full of quality bars, restaurants, shops etc. Metro station 100m from the hotel.
Cons -
- I do not have any major complaints. However, I was not entirely comfortable with having to return my room key to the staff each time I left the hotel. While I understand this is done for safety reasons, it slightly reduces the sense of freedom and privacy.
- noisy at night <2.30am and again 6am onwards. C’est Paris
- The bathroom is a bit outdated buntline.

Clean, well located, great staff. Near to laudrette.

Clean, location was perfect to go and travel via metro/bus. Lots of shops nearby for food or anything else that can be needed.
The location is perfect, near to restaurants, brasseries, and the metro. The room is small, comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
The bathroom is a bit outdated buntline.
Good location, Clean, Friendly staff, safe.I like it but it was not relevant with the per night price.Otherwise it is a good choice.
The old facilities which are not value for money 170 euro per night with the taxes. If the price was relevant with the facilities would be great choice but now it is a bit expensive.
Location, building, staff, breakfast
No issues
nice staffs. bathroom is clean, bed and pillows are comfy, has a kettle, has a lift, no bugs, on a very safe clean quiet street . market, restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries and metro stations are few minutes away. (Buy fresh squeeze orange juice and yellow plums from the market on the same street- they are so sweet and cheap)
small room , no fridge, heavy key so you have to give the front desk your room key each time you leave and get it when you return. no escalator or elevator at any nearby metro stations.
A very nice hotel conveniently located near lots of restaurants and quite close to Montparnasse train station.
Great location surrounded by lovely food and in a quieter area. Staff were very friendly and held our bags for half a day before our travel.
The location, perfect for us. We like that we were given the view of the street that we had asked for.
Nothing really. Smaller rooms than our usual hotel but good size for Paris.
Clean and comfortable, convenient location near metro/ train station. Easy check in despite us arriving late in the evening. Close to cafes, bars and restaurants.
No coffee/tea supplies in room, we would have liked a hot drink but the supplies didn’t appear to have been replenished
This is a very typical small Parisian hotel located in a lively and interesting inner neighborhood. From here you can easily walk or use public transport to get to any part of the central areas of Paris. The neighborhood itself has great restaurants, cafes and shops. The room was clean, but very small. Still it had a window overlooking rue Delambre, which was nice because the street is very lively but doesn't have much traffic. The bathroom was clean and acceptable.
The lobby and entrance area had a strange and rather unpleasant odor, which was off-putting. Fortunately, our room didn't have the same problem. As we mentioned, the room was small. We would have paid to change to a larger room, but were told we were already in the largest. If true, other rooms must be really cramped!
We picked the hotel for its location as we were leaving by train from Montparnasse early morning. From this point of view it was perfect only a 10 min walk from the hotel. The staff were helpful and everything worked fine.
The facilities were fairly basic
Hotel Delambre was a great place to base ourselves for exploring Paris. A hop and a skip to the Metro station. Plenty of cafes, shops, boulangeries, etc nearby. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We would be happy to recommend.
Everything was great!
Well positioned on a fairly quiet street and close enough to the station to carry luggage, and close to a variety of decent restaurants.
The hotel was a perfect location near the train station and tour meeting area. The bed was extremely comfortable.
The hotel is attached to a cafe. We had arrived from a long trip, at noontime. Booking.com sent an email confirmation after my request to check in before 2 pm, stating we could check in at noon. When we arrived at the hotel, we had to go through the cafe, and were told that booking.com was wrong and we could not check -in until 2 pm. We stored our luggage and walked around, exhausted. We returned at 1:45pm , and were told we could not check - in until 2! There is no hotel reception at all, just the people manning the cafe. The hotel relies on the staff of the sister hotel. They did not even bother to check if the room was ready before 2!The hotel room was very small, and there were only 3 hangers and minimal space to hang clothes. There was no dresser or drawer space for clothes. We were staying in Zurich for 6 days and lived out of our suitcases.
Clean, quiet. Simple but just right
Slightly blocked sink, but otherwise all OK.
Very good location near Montparnasse train station. Mehdi in the reception is very kind and helpful!
