    Pros +

    • The hotel is well located to the metro which made travel around Paris convenient.
    • Clean, charming, and literally RIGHT in front of the metro stop Grands Boulevards in Paris¿ so important to the tiered site seer in Paris! The multilingual staff was welcoming and accommodating. Not fancy but very nice.
    • Staff friendly and helpful. It was in a good position for our adventures

    Cons -

    • The hotel sits above and Irish Pub that becomes a club every night causing for sleepless nights and uncleanliness around the vicinity in the morning. I would not recommend this hotel and would choose another section in Paris next time I visit.
    • I was surprised how ¿lively¿ (loud) the street was, mid week, in early June. However w the thick walls and drapes drawn we barely heard it from our second floor (fl 3 in the US) room.
    • Cleaning done late afternoon

Hotel location is very good, direct entrance to Metro line8,9. Has a taxi stand right in front of the door, carrefour city nearby and lots of food options in the neighbourhood. The family room has coffee machine.

Its not a dislike but just letting others know it is an old building with retrofit elevators (small ones).

    Please need to be updated...

Windows are bad can’t sleep lots of noise from the street. Sewage smell in the bathroom. Deceiving information on Booking.com about parking.

    Location only

Very expensive for such a tiny room. There wasn't even enough room to work properly at the desk. Also, there was a weird hanging light over the bed with a lampshade that kept hitting me in the head every time I sat up.

Comfortable and well-appointed room. Good location to visit the Right Bank area. Subway station at the front door.Good access to restaurants.

Bar noise until 2am and rumbling noise from subway.

    Good location

Extremely noisy due to room on the Boulevard.Windows in the bathroom was cracked

    The staff were very friendly

Horrendously noisy - until 5 am. Next door to an Irish Pub and opposite an Australian pub both of which are open until day break. Constant yelling and partying. Impossible to get a proper nights sleep. Also the door handle to the bathroom/ toilet fell off - constant problem. Not good.

Stay was good. Location was great as we just walked everywhere. Metro is right in front which would be great if you used it (we just preferred walking). Rooms were super small but served their purpose. Would stay again.

    Location was great

I had a strong smell of mold in my bathroom and I had to argue my way into changing my room - completely unacceptable. The staff was not very accommodating and the room was quite dingy. Shocked and disappointed that a hotel that supposedly has 4 stars would have such issues. Overall not at all what I expected. Would not recommend this hotel.

    7PaulaPosted on: 6-29-2025

The location was perfect, staff were friendly and exceptionally keen to help with any requests.

The AC in the room wasn’t really great, however it was a very few hot days during our stay. Another small thing that could be better is the shower, the glass shower shield/door is very small so it is almost impossible to not soak the bathroom floor whilst showering.

The hotel was near the Opera and a 15-20 minute ride to the Louvre. It’s also near Gare du Nord if you’re taking the train. The breakfast was good and the staff were lovely. I’d book here again when I visit Paris again.

It was a bit noisy outside since my room is in front of the boulevard but I still managed to sleep. It’s a small price to pay if you’re on Boulevard Montmartre and in the 2nd arrondissement.

    8ErikaPosted on: 4-25-2025

It’s near metro and bakery and other shops.

They don’t give free water for drinking in the room. I don’t know if you have to ask. I am used to see bottled water inside the room.

    1YelyzavetaPosted on: 4-17-2025

Bad price quality. The pictures look much nicer than the hotel itself. It’s very old, with no way to adjust the temperature in the room. The toilets are small, and people were slamming doors throughout the night. Even though it was a single room, the bed was extremely small — it was impossible to relax.

Everything was excellent, especially the reception staff and concierge. Very helpful . Champagne and macrons welcome gift was lovely surprise

    Location and the staff team

Being put in a room the size of a broom cupboard. Until we moved it, the thick glass topped table housing the (warm) mini-bar blocked a good half of the doorway to the room. A bedside table with suspended lamp above was only possible on one side of the bed. The person on the other side slept with their head under a lampshade. Getting to the bathroom in the night meant navigating around the table top without bruising, let alone breaking skin. (We are both thin people btw.) The room was boiling even with the radiator on frost setting as the pipework belted out heat while the aircon only worked during summer months. We needed the window open to keep cool and so had to put up with all the noisy extractors in the dumbell to our room. When I this out, staff advised that it wasn’t just this one room but ALL in the same (standard double) category. I have never paid anything like this nightly rate for a hotel room. I did it for a special occasion to be with another couple booking through BA. They got an upgrade to a fabulous sized room.
