A quirky hotel perfectly located in a tucked away spot with easy access to the Metro and RER, with a good many of the landmarks of the city within easy walking distance. I found the hotel charming and comfortable for a good price. I hope to return soon.
The plumbing on the upper floors can be challenging. It was adequate for an older building, but could be better.
Great location being close to Paris sites, restaurants and the train station. The reception staff was very nice and understanding when I arrived very late. The breakfast buffet was very good and the breakfast staff excellent.
The gentlemen at the front desk were very helpful and spoke English. The hotel was clean, quiet, and a relaxing place to stay.
In one sense, the location was good. It was near everything we wanted to see. But it was also down an alley that was a little uncomfortable.
Location of this hotel is great Staffs are helpful
quite a few things I didn't like 1. Air conditioners didn't work 2. No amenities were available 3. no breakfast options are available 4. No parking 5. Wifi is super slow and you can't use pretty much
Convenient location. Hotel staff let us check in our bags early. Interior room guests get to hear snoring, and the conversations of other guests when trying to sleep. Guests with interior rooms on the first floor are basically in one giant room together.
The AC doesn¿t work. They told us we would have to open the windows to get airflow. We were in an interior room with no exterior windows. We had a window that opened into an open shaft with no way to draw air. 255 characters isn¿t enough to voice how ba
Location is amazing. So convenient.
Tiny elevator. When we first got there they put us in one double superior room and then a small room (very unappealing), even though we paid for two double superior rooms. I had to remind them I paid for two superior double rooms.
It¿s location
The bed was incredibly small (not meant for 2 people at all). The elevator was extremely small as well. Could not fit more than 1 person with 1 suitcase at a time.
Best location. Great staff. Clean room. Hotel employee was the most helpful in guiding us for everything.
Small bathroom, but that¿s how they are mostly.
Location- close to everything but still very quiet in the rooms!
The water in the shower varied greatly in temperature- from extra hot to very cold.
The location and the staff who worked hard to get us into our rooms on time. The hotel was very clean.
No issues.
The location, and the bathroom was nicer than expected, given the rest of the room.
Yes it felt dark and claustrophobic and worn. I asked 3 times for 2 twin beds when I booked--I emailed and followed up with the hotel, and when we arrived were told so sorry we don't have any.
Really quirky hotel, brilliant location, lovely decor.
The A/C was broken so the room was sweltering, we said to staff twice but was never fixed so meant we got very little sleep, there was no windows just ones that looked out onto an indoor courtroom with a skylight but no security. Loft very loud
close the main sights, clean room, friendly staff
i didnt have any
Great location. Hotel was clean but old.
Hotel could use a renovation.
We loved the old historic charm and decor of the hotel. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean. Our room had access to a cute little balcony that we spent time on in the mornings with our coffee, even with the cold weather.
We loved everything. Even the old room keys we had to leave with the front desk. Very charming place.
Great location in 1st Arrondissement plus very close to Chatelet metro station which is a convenient hub. Our chosen lower cost room was small and very simple, but it was fine for as little time as one should be spending in their room while in Paris!
The elevator is very small (3 person, 225 kg max capacity) and somewhat slow. There are stairs also, so if you don't mind waiting a bit or using stairs, no big deal.
This hotel is soooo Paris. It is very close to the train station to the airport. Very close to the wonderful Seine. My favorite was the large balcony w/all the flowers and 2 chairs and a table and the retractable awning. There was a robe & slippers, r
