Pros +
- It was fairly clean, we got fresh towels everyday and our bed was made everyday as well. The room was warm, heating was working well and we had a big window allowing us to change the air so it was not stuffy. the hotel is situated close to an underground station allowing an easy access to basically every place in Paris. the street is quiet and full of restaurants and bakeries, within two minutes walking distance there is also a supermarket, which was important for us as budget travellers. for someone who looks for a basic place to sleep it is more than enough.

- Was a quiet neighborhood, with a cafe downstairs the hotel, i stayed at the hotel for 3 days for an unbelievably cheap price, also the staff was very nice and friendly, no inconveniences and if i ever go to Paris again i will book this hotel again.
Cons -
- Booking website mentions some complimentary amenities and it's a bit misleading, because what we got was one gel which we were supposed to use as soap, shower gel and shampoo. I'm glad I brought my own:)the room looks like it has not been renovated for a while - we had a broken shelf in our bathroom. the state is not tragic yet, but would use some freshening up.
- The bathing place was too small
- Our departure from Paris was at night, so we couldn't keep our luggage in the hotel after checking out by 11 a.m. We had to drop our luggage somewhere else. We stayed on the second floor, and you could hear the noise from the next room. The couple in the next room probably went out and arrived around 2 a.m., and started arguing. I had to knock on their door before they lowered their voices.

It's a simple hotel located close to the Gambetta metro stop. If you are looking for an affordable place for a few days with ease of movement, it's a good choice. The receptionists were nice too.

Location is good as well as price
You get what you pay for, had an insane guest next to me and the could hear them through the walls shouting in early morning. The roadside and restaurant nearby is noisy and can be heard through the window. The bathroom is very small and if you're tall it's not fun to shower in.
The area was very nice, the staff friendly, it was very nice for a one night stay.
There was no elevator and the staircase was narrow. In the night I woke up because someone dropped a suitcase and it tumbled all the way down the stairs and I was just glad it wasn't a person. It would be good to find a solution for this.
The reception staff were pleasant and friendly.
There was no lift. My husband is waiting for knee replacements and even the very small noisy room on the first floor was difficult to get to. The stairs were very precarious. The end of the bed restricted the opening of the bathroom door. There was a kettle but paper cups for hot coffee and no milk. There was a stone staircase going up the side of the building and we couldn’t open our curtains as there were no screens. The noise from the restaurant and the passing people on the stairs was horrendous.
Confortable beds
Bad Cleanliness, small shower
Wonderful staff and very convenient via bus.
No elevator.
Room was clean.
The door to the room was cooked and allowed a alot of light from the hallway come in. Shower curtain was disgusting
the beds were comfy and the bedding was clean
the shower was tiny ; you couldn’t bend down to get toiletries .There was no clearly marked fire escape.the decor was a bit shabby
The best trip everThe hotel was good for the price we loved the neighborhood and the staff really the only issues was the bathroom the sink is a bit small and also the shower but other then that the room has a nice view and a comfy bed with enough space and the location is well connected
Only the bathroom
Good pressure of water, hot enough as soon as you start using the shower. Although on the street side, it was not too noisy to sleep well. Close to the metro station and many cafés around. Very clean.
I would have loved to leave my suitcase for a couple of hours after my check-out. It was not possible.
It is actually really nice for the price! The room had a TV, a small private bathroom that was clean, the sheets looked clean as well, it was overall pretty good! It doesn’t have an elevator but the sir at the front desk helped carrying the luggage and he was really nice! The only problem was that the main light in the room went off and I had to use only the ones around the bed but nothing too bad. I liked it!
That it doesn’t include water in the room. You have to purchase it or use the tap water but that’s it.
Great location, nice little room
Very noisy if you sleep on the road side
Clean, simple, right next to a good crowded pub/restaurant
A bit far away from center and not possible to leave luggage for few hours after check out
We loved this hotel! For the bargain price it was a brilliant place to stay - really well located on a nice street with loads of shops, bars etc but not too noisy - felt very safe for me and my two teenage daughters. Very short walk to Gambetta metro so could be in the centre in about 15 mins. The rooms aren’t luxurious but they’re very clean, amazing comfy beds and our bathroom was really big - everything worked as it should and rooms were cleaned daily. There is a kettle and tea / coffee and also microwave etc down in the reception if you need it. Reception staff were very kind and friendly. All in all a great budget stay!
Nothing - we loved it
It was clean and functional. Decent location, friendly staff
The shower holder was broken and only one electrical socket was working properly as the other was loose & couldn’t charge devices properly
Absolutely nothing
Denied a refund from this property, despite having to book another hotel during my first night there since we couldn’t sleep due to the disgusting noises coming from the couple in the neighbouring room. They were like animals for the entire night. Tried to sleep at 10pm and managed to get a total of 15 minutes sleep before my alarm went off. During the night someone also touched the outside lock of our room and other rooms down the hallway with their key card, which made us question the safety of this property and was another reason for us to seek another hotel. You could hear every single noise from every room and every bit of movement in the hallway. There was a crack in the top of our door which let all the light in from the hallway too. When we left the next day, the man at the counter could not of cared less. Zero empathy shown for our situation and just horrible. We stayed at the other hotel for the remainder of our trip, but this hotel ruined a full day for us since we were completely sleep deprived and beyond distressed with what had happened that night. This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed in. I’ve stayed in hostels that were better and it was a truly horrific experience and has left a stain on my first experience in Paris. Avoid this place and spend a bit more money for a nicer hotel.
Excellent location and comfortable rooms, 24 hour access!!
Only drawbacks for me were absence of elevator and some of the staff who don’t know English
