Hotel George Washington

Disappointing

I only paid €10 for a small pack of M&M’s and a small Evian water. Regarding the parking, I paid €40 for 12 hours, from 10 PM until around 11 AM. The parking was not included in the price.

Hotel location and room furniture

I didn’t like that the room is on two floors, and the staircase is too small to properly connect them.

The hotel is in a very good neighborhood

People who work in reception are not friendly at all. Every time you ask them about anything they make you feel like you are bothering them. They give you a feeling like they are doing you a favor by letting you stay in the hotel .

No coffee machine in the room.

Decor in the hotel is interesting. Location is really great, short walking distance to things.

Breakfast was very limited. Parts of wall in our room had water damage. While we liked being on the 6th floor in a great room, we had booked for something with a bath for the kids

Marie-Line was always friendly and professional providing me with essential information and advice on the city with a smile. She also did her best to accommodate my very early check-in. I liked the proximity of the hotel to the Champs Elysee

I didn’t like the carpet in the room even though the room was always kept clean for my stay.

wow just so so helpful the staff were superb - loved the standard and finish in the rooms, they were super nice and spacious, well laid out and just a winner

it has amazing bathroom ! design is very nice.

it has very small noise protection. so everyone could hear me, and I could hear everyone

We had a great stay at George Washington hotel, staff was super friendly & helpful especially one lady in particular did not get her name. Our room was comfy and liked the decor, location was amazing super close to so many main attractions and strip of the shops and resturants. Lovely area to stay in felt super safe. Thank u George Washington you will be first choice if I return back to Paris

The only improvement I would say is maybe having a shower shield to protect water coming out when showering. Pillows were a little soft but that comes down to prefence. Also maybe a full length mirror would be great to see yourself b4 leaving.

Location and cleanness so many options for food around the street and 5 min you end up in les champs elysees

The hotel does not provide tea coffee machine or kettle for that Also no water bottles in the room I asked and they said Paris water is drinkable from the tab but i wanted to have a hot water kettle and tea bags in the room as in 4 stars hotels

bed was large and comfortable, tv was a big screen also.

No kettle, tea/coffee making facilities or iron in the room, no shower door in the bath, so water was splashing out.

The welcoming was excellent, the staff are very professional and helpful. Specially the lady at the reception was very helpful. Great location.

The location was perfect, the breakfast was good and had everything you needed also a nice lady who did a very good scrambled eggs for us.The rooms are quiet and comfortable.Madam Manal from the reception was nice.

Be very careful if you need a parking because they weren’t honest at all.First after booking the room we sent a message to book the parking and they replied that it’s not guaranteed as it’s according to availability and they will confirm on arrival so we phoned to check before arriving and they said just come and we will discuss so upon arrival they announced that their parking is available only for small cars!!! Otherwise we had to park in a public parking that cost 40 euros more!!!That for us was very very unprofessional from their side.Also the facilities aren’t really of a 4 stars hotel.

There were some things within and without the hotels control Without control- Sadly every night there was cars outside and about 2AM-3AM continuously beeped their horns for hours and we were unable to gain any rest between these hours Within control- Our safe sadly was not working, after requesting this twice we did resolve this This hotel upon our floor smelled strongly of smoke as if someone next to us was smoking, we did raise this to our first receptionistThere were some hidden costs that booking.com did not advise such as the €200 deposit ( However this was refundable but I am yet to receive this but this morning were advised it can take up to a week) and also the hidden city charge per night which was not advertised when booking, this was a further €36 Sadly there was nothing free within the hotel , with this being a 4 star we kind of expected a possible welcome bottle of water or anything really but anything food or drink wise presented in the hotel cost - This may sound harsh I realise and it does not mean to however the four sessions is a five start hotel and the hotel we stayed at was a 4 , we noticed the difference in a star
