Paris Villette

The location was close enough to the metropolitan system and other public transport, we had no problem getting around the city from the hotel.The personnel were helpful and kind, room cleaning and towel change were made every day in the afternoon.Breakfast was overall good for the price.The room was okay.

The room we were in was really noisy and not well insulated, we could hear outside noises very clearly even with the windows closed, same with noises coming from other rooms or the elevator.At night we would often hear random loud rumbling noises, probably coming from the elevator or the drain pipes.We were not able to use the bathtub because of a missing draining cap that was not replaced.Overall we thought the room was going to be bigger and better equipped.Not the greatest experience for multiple days stays.

The room was comfortable and clean, close to Gare du Nord.

The breakfast was quite bad, doesn’t worth €10. I don’t think there was any egg in the scrambled eggs and certainly no pancake in the pancakes. Very dry and tasteless.

Nothing it was too small for the price, the bath was not clean and the street was not so safe.

The room was compact, but clean and comfortable. Location was good for the metro. Staff were brilliant. Couldn't ask for any better.

No tea/coffee facilities. Basic room and bathroom.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very neat.

There was a bad smell in the bathroom coming from the plumbing. The Shower is very small so the shower curtain does not work well in this space as it sticks to you while showering and allows water to go all over the bathroom. There was no coffee or facility to make it in the bedroom and you had to pay extra if you wanted to get some from downstairs.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Great location for La Villette and less than 30 minutes walk from the Gare du Nord - ideal for stretching ones legs after a long journey! Breakfast was good and plenty of local bars and restaurants.

No water in the Room and it was very hot

The bed was comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

Two basic things must be fixed: 1) please wash the towels in the hot water with proper washing powder. The towels are very smelly even when unused, not to mention after the first use 2) fix a socket in the bathroom. It was impossible to use any electrical device as the socket was broken. Also the pics of the room are misleading as the room appears much bigger than it is in reality. Be honest and upload proper pictures.

- Air conditioning worked well. Much appreciated, given how hot it was most of the time.- Bed was decently comfortable.- Bathroom was small, but decently well-equipped.- The staff were decently friendly and were able to accommodate me pretty efficiently.- There is a safe in the room.- The wardrobe and shelves were more than big enough to accommodate my clothes and the few other things I chose to use them for.- It seems that they clean your bed linens pretty regularly.- You can turn off the main lights from the bed.

- Not a particularly good location; you have to take the metro quite far to get to the centre. At least there are some grocery stores, bakeries, and pharmacies in the area. I didn't feel like I was in any danger, but perhaps that was because I was a tourist and didn't know any better.- Unfortunately, there seemed to be some mold on one of the corners of the room, and some weird stuff on the inner side of the bathroom door. The room seemed to be meticulously clean except for those two specific things, which I found rather weird.

Only issues we had where the climate control was not working so it was extremely hot trying to sleep which wasn’t enjoyable. Also as an early 20s couple the area is extremely spooky and not very nice, we didn’t know that before booking, I wouldn’t go out at night around that area. But overall it’s quite good value for money and the metro is not far and in the day time it’s fine to go into the main city centre which we enjoyed our time !

The room was very comfortable and very clean and very near to the Metro station and to many bakeries.

The area was safe we had no issues but at nights we felt a bit insecure with people on the streets staring at us.The bathtub in the room was slippery.

The hotel is very clean and well decorated. The staff on reception were welcoming and helpful. It is a professionally run hotel. The rooms were a good size. It was especially hot in Paris during our stay so it was lovely to come back to our air-conditioned room.I have stayed in this area before but not at this hotel. I plan to return to the Hotel Paris Villette next time.
