Lots of space in the room, very clean, close to almost everything we wanted to do.

It can get a little loud if there is a large party in the courtyard.

It was large enough for our family. Very nice breakfast, friendly staff. Very nice location

Was a little loud some evenings

    Great location.

The rooms did not have full length mirrors. Even the bathroom mirror was placed so high I could only view from just above my chest. Also, there was nothing in the bath tub to prevent slipping and I bruised my leg from a near fall.

The staff was extremely helpful and those yelp reviews of dirty rooms were untrue. Carpet new. Bed very comfortable with lovely pressed sheets. Outdoor area very inviting with multiple seating areas surrounded by plants. Hotel is located in the outskirts of Marais. A bit sketchy at night for a single woman traveling alone. Well worth the price.

It’s a very unique property. I like that there are several different buildings, each has a different vibe. Even though there are endless amounts of restaurants to enjoy in the area, it was also nice to have a guaranteed breakfast on premise every day.

The courtyard and garden is beautiful and very comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful. Great hotel overall.

They need a coffee station in the courtyard. I didn’t like having to walk down to the cafeteria to get it everyday. I wanted to drink it in the garden. They also need to attend to trip hazards promptly. Broken deck boards in courtyard seating area was not addressed for days.

The location was convenient, and the front desk staff were polite.

The shower was very disappointing. The water was not hot, and the water flow/pressure was uncomfortable. Additionally, the hotel was selected specifically because air conditioning was listed as available. However, during winter they only operate the heater and refused to disclose this in advance. This was misleading and significantly impacted my comfort.

The room was comfortable and the bed great. The kitchenette was not equipped, strange.

Slow checkin, a lot of messages was sent with the same message, waste of time. Breakfast, just basic, for that price we expected more. Plus going outside to get to the breakfast room in the rain was not a hit.

Nice accommodations and very helpful staff! Highly recommend. Close to many restaurants and shops.

Booking.com said “airport shuttle” but was not a hotel shuttle and had to be booked 2 hours in advance (tough when your flight is cancelled and you have to book hotel on the spot at the airport)…plus it was very expensive so ended up taking an Uber. The property itself was very nice.

    7AnthonyPosted on: 12-17-2025

The location is fantastic and the room we had was very quiet as it faced the courtyard garden

For a suite, the room was on the small side, though I guess these are Parisian dimensions. The kitchenette was only partially kitted out. Were it not for the booking.com discount, I would have reservations about staying here despite the location. The checking in and out took far too long; 30 mins in total.

This hotel was unexpectedly beautiful. From the street, it appears like a one building hotel. The inside however, there were multiple buildings with a large, beautiful courtyard. I was actually a little disappointed we did not stay longer. I would have loved to enjoy the outdoor area. Our room was spacious and spotless, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is situated in the Le Marais neighborhood with easy access to metro and lots of restaurants.

I think because it’s such a large hotel, we had to wait quite a while to check in. The staff however was very polite. The other issue I had was the ventilation in our room. Ours was a non-smoking room, but I believe it was right next to one that allowed smoking. I did smell it quite a bit during the night when I was trying to sleep.

It was dirty. My room smelled like feces. The toilet and bathroom were dirty, there was hair in the bathroom.

Everything. Terrible value, dirty and smelled awful

Our location - was close to many different metro stops and great vintage shops and restaurants. The room was quite large compared to many other Paris hotel rooms I've stayed in for either higher cost or same cost. I liked that there was a kitchenette - we didn't use it - but for others it might be useful. The beautiful original architecture of all the hotel buildings (yes, the hotel owns 6 buildings).

Bathroom and appliance like hair dryer was a bit old school - but actually I've seen this in other Paris hotel rooms too. The courtyard was a bit loud on one of the nights we stayed - so not the best soundproofed windows (we were on the top floor too).

    Lovely property.

The front desk staff appeared unconcerned when I called to say 2 staff members attempted to enter my room when I was there by unlocking the door and neglecting to knock... very disturbing and unacceptable.

    Breakfast, location of the property.

While my stay at the Hotel Les Jardins du Marais began with a complimentary upgrade to a spacious suite, the experience quickly deteriorated due to significant and repeated operational failures. On our first night, we were woken at 1:30 AM by an unbearable, continuous racket. We discovered hotel staff were moving heavy conference room carts and chairs outside in the street and along a ramp situated directly beneath our room. The noise was so severe it sounded like an "earthquake". This internal hotel noise, combined with loud patrons from an adjacent bar, made the room unusable until the activity ceased. The morning manager was responsive and immediately relocated us to a quiet room facing the courtyard. While appreciated, the new room presented several maintenance and safety lapses: the bathtub lacked a necessary grab bar and non-slip adhesion, there were no shampoo or conditioner toiletries provided, and the TV remote was non-functional.The property features a lovely, large courtyard, which we planned to utilize for a quiet evening dinner (a great perk, given the hotel's proximity to a grocery store). However, this amenity was ruined when a large private group of over 50 adults and children commandeered the space, allowing children to run and scream uncontrollably as if it were a public playground. Once again, the front desk had to be called to address a noise disturbance created by a managed group on the property. While staff addressed both incidents after being prompted, the required intervention and the cumulative effect of these failures—from severe late-night operational noise to poor safety/amenity upkeep and a lack of group management—demonstrate a significant gap between the property's 4-star rating and the actual guest experience. Based on these repeated issues, I cannot recommend this hotel.

It was safe. The staff was courteous. Excellent breakfast and breakfast staff. Clean rooms and property. Close proximity to Metro. Walking distance to le Marais. Quiet at night for sleep.
