Novotel Paris 17

The hotel staff was very nice and the hotel was very clean and modern.

It's not very close to a subway station, so you either need to walk 10-15 minutes to a station, or take a cab. Also, the room was quite small, even for Paris.

The breakfast was great, although at 20 Euros per person per day it was not practical so we only tried it once.

The shower drain did not work and the hotel refused to fix it. It also did not have a shower door so the water would spill into the rest of the bathroom, making taking a shower impossible. The air conditioning was also not working so we were sweating.

The size of the room and bathroom and the complimentary breakfast.

The tourism tax that was not mentioned when the reservation was made.

The romms are big, pretty clean( toilet wasn't) , the staff was very proffessional and helpful, the breakfast has a decent variety of dishes, close to main attractions( approx 1hr walk to Lovre, 30 min with Bolt )

- no iron in the room although they had an ironong service at extra cost- coffe and tea available but no mugs- separate toilet room that was outdated and not properly cleanedComparable with other 4 stars hotels i would rate this at 3 with indulgence.

The breakfasts are very good, with a variety of French cheeses and a very balanced carbohydrate and protein menu. The breakfast salad is fantastic. The staff is generally very friendly and willing to accommodate any requests. There are rooms with a view of the Eiffel Tower, which is also very nice. Overall, it's a good hotel; it's clearly not new, and it could do with a refresh. I'd like to point out the excellent location: within a two-hour walk, you can visit many beautiful places, and for those who enjoy walking, you can easily reach the very center, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and other attractions.

The only two downsides are that the room is cold in winter and the climate control can't be adjusted above 21°C (if I'm not mistaken). In reality, it wasn't 21°C; the best I've seen was 19°C. It would also be nice to clean up the mess under the bed better; there were some rubber bands and debris, and the bathroom walls were scratched.

We were cold in the facilities, but the heaters weren't working and no one helped us. The breakfast wasn't good enough; in fact, it was very mediocre.The shower heads were seriously dirty and grimy, and very little water was coming out. They had never been checked.

Bathroom fittings/ designs were old . I don’t find Separate toilet and bathroom as a good idea. If someone occupied the bathroom, other person cannot wash hand after using toilet

The carpets needs a little of vacuum

We had a comfortable stay at Novotel Paris 17.

The location is far from famous landmarks in Paris thus you need to take a bus, tram or metro all the time.

According to the room description, tea and coffee facilities were supposed to be provided in the room. However, upon arrival, there were no tea bags, coffee, cups, or kettle available. These items were only brought to me after I specifically asked for them.Additionally, there was no complimentary bottled water in the room. I called them to ask if they can send three bottles to the room as I have children they refused cause I have to go down to the restaurant and pay in advance for the water as they cannot add it to the room expenses, they ask me to fill water from the fountain, which was inconvenient and not what I expected based on the information provided at the time of booking.no satellite channels, according to the room description on the websiteMost of the room description was missingI believe this does not meet the standard advertised and affected my overall experience.

The beds were comfy and the rooms were clean.

The rooms were overheated and we couldn't turn down the heat or open the windows.

I had a good stay at Novotel Paris 17. The room was clean every day. The staff changed the bed sheets and towels daily. The shower always had hot water. The staff were helpful and polite. The hotel has a car park, which makes travel by car easier. I did not pay a deposit when I booked. I paid the full amount at the hotel. Communication with the hotel was easy and clear. They replied quickly to my messages.Check-in was at 2 o’clock. Because of traffic, I changed my arrival time twice. The staff handled this without any issues.I would stay here again.

Our stay was absolutely terrible from start to finish.The room was dirty and poorly maintained. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time, and there was a constant unpleasant smell. The bed was uncomfortable, and the noise made it almost impossible to sleep.The staff was unhelpful and unfriendly. Any time we asked for assistance, we were treated as if we were bothering them. Problems were ignored instead of being solved.The facilities were nothing like the photos. Everything felt old, worn out, and neglected. This place clearly does not care about the comfort or experience of its guests.For the price we paid, this hotel is a complete scam. It does not meet even the most basic standards. I would strongly recommend staying anywhere else.This was a huge disappointment and definitely a stay I regret.
