Pros +
- Well located, close to gare de lyon. Private bathroom okay
- Nice room. Nice bistro downstairs. Great location! Staff went above and beyond.
- The location is fantastic, lots of cool restaurants, cafes, bars, and shoppping. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The bistro downstairs had great food and reasonably priced drinks.
Cons -
- Entrance is the same as the bistrot, super tight when full, very inconvenient when you are traveling with a big luggage. No elevator, no help given by staff, room is literally the size of the bed.
- The room was very small so it was difficult to manage suitcases. The room was about 10 degrees hotter than outside, even with the windows open. There was no air conditioning or fan. Because of the heat, we had to keep the windows open, and the street has people partying on it usually until around 2am. On Saturday night it went until 4am. Noise travels very well in the hotel as well so you can hear your neighbours. No counter or shelf space in bathroom or shower. Shower was tiny, kept turning off the tap with my butt! There was only one electrical outlet in the room and it wasn’t in the bathroom, so my wife had a hard time doing her hair.
- It was as I expected, although the facilities and area shows it age until five oclock when it comes to life.

Very accessible for the metro. Enjoyed being in the middle of Paris. Felt very looked after by the staff, but not crowded.

Location is excellent and it was very good value for money. Staff are extremely kind and welcoming.
This is not a fault of the hotel as it is like this everywhere in old buildings in Paris: the walls are very thin and the hotel is on a lively street with many bars and restaurants (great for going out) I recommend you bring some earplugs and you will be absolutely fine. Again, this is not the fault of the hotel I just wanted to give other travelers some advice.
Excelent location.
Pillows were too hard. The noise from the street during the night was awful. We couldn’t sleep. Noise isolation of the room is very bad.No refilling of shampoo and soap.
Value for money
the ridiculously small size of the showerthe noice in the street until 4am.
there was no reception or front desk, i had to go inside a bar to get room key, also the room was on the 3rd floor, and no alleviator, i had to drag my bags all the way up, the room was too small no view and the worse thing was i can hear everyone drinking and speaking loud at the bar, the room was on top of the bar, it was holiday from hell, i will not recommend anyone to go there. you get internet from the bar if they close the bar then there is no internet,
everything, i did not like anything about this place no food no drink nothing there, there is no food to eat, i left the place in the morning and went to another place, the pictures are not the same at all.
Loud in room due to location, was expected and we knew what we were getting into but was louder than anticipated but the good price is reflective of this. Pace is a good price for a good a good location. Cleaning staff moved our items and turned heat to maximum each night. Even though we left notes for them to leave room alone and not turn heat on.
A place in the center of Paris, close to metro, shops, market. A bar downstairs. Friendly personnel.
Loud party street and a very small room.
The location is great. However the noise was non stop until the morning light. It was non-stop. Unable to rest or get proper sleep. The pillows should be discarded as they were like ROCKS! Am not exaggerating............................. If people have mobility issues I would NOT recommend this venue at all. The stairs are scary and there is a big STEP UP into the shower! I have to commend the VERY friendly staff which was lovely. The location is superb. But the hotel needs aBIG UPDATE. ANOTHER BIG CONCERN IS THERE IS "NO FIRE ESCAPE".
The noise was a big issue......................................... the pillows are shockingly HARD and unfit for purpose. The stairs were or could be challenging for people with mobility issues! The lack of an escape in case of fire was worrying.
Clean and helpful staff.
Very noisy all night until 6am. Very steep stairs not suitable for most people over 65.
acceptable location
Waking up after a nearly sleepless night due to the noise of the bars downstairs, I noticed a rapidly moving bedbug, (autrement dit une punaise de lit), on my chest. I rapidly left the building. I later confirmed I had several bites on my body. Still awaiting a response from the owner, to see if they are able to refund my stay. Avoid at all costs. (keywords for anyone searching: bedbugs, bug, punaises)
Location is perfect. Everything in the center of the city is in walking distance. A lot of clubs around and market, also. Near the bus station. The room looks quite sweet.
There is no WI-FI in the room. Stairs are spiral and for someone could be hard to take it.
Disappointing
No wifi, no AC. Could hear the noise from the bars downstair until 6am in the morning. You get what you paid for.
good location. many pillows.
Noise from the bar. No air-con or fans. Big bunch of keys to carry around. No reception area. En suite needs up dating. Could supply bottled water. Shower is very small. Lot of stairs up to room.Needs kettle in the room.
Very friendly, good beer and the food was excellent (Tagine was exceptional). Have been before in 2019 and it’s better.
Shut windows city noise at night though very quiet in the mornings
Friendly helpful staff
The pictures did not do the property justice and presume we're taken a long time ago
Room, narrow stairway and clenliness
Location is very central
Wifi didn’t work in room only downstairs
