Hotel was in a great location in the St. Germaine area. Staff were friendly.

The room we were given had issues. First, upon arriving, I noticed that the base of the tub in the bathroom was broken. Second, the room was horribly loud, above what I would normally expect. I could hear water flushing at all hours of night.

The staff was very nice and helpful, the balcony was stunning, and breakfast was very good.

Coffee and tea amenities in the room and in the lounge area. New bathroom. Wonderful location between the Luxembourg gardens and Odeon/St Germain-des-Pres area, yet in a quiet street.

Everything! Bedding and linens were 5-star, location was excellent. Syaffcwas vourteous and very helpful.

Spacious room and comfortable bed (although the pillows were European style). The buffet breakfast was excellent and it was an easy walk to the metro station and the main sights.

Excellent location. The breakfast was decent and the staff were attentive.

It's a shame that the soundproofing in apartment 504 is poor, as it was possible to hear conversations and sounds from the guests in neighboring apartment 505. It would be important to improve the soundproofing of the wall between those units.

That it was central and looked pretty

It smelled of smoke and it smelled like sewer. Also, the room walls are so thin I could hear my neighbour snoring

Proximity to action. Room size was excellent for the price point and the bath was the sugar on top. Breakfast had good options. The lovely lady at reception provided a free bottle of water on check out which was kind.

The doonah was too heavy for me. And charging for Nespresso pods is soooooo tacky!! Please stop that. Scrambled eggs were powdery and hard boiled eggs were black inside - best the kitchen fixes that.

Amazing location to explore Paris by foot. Breakfast is good and the room space is alright. Attendants were gentle. Enjoyed the tea at room.

Breakfast is served in a small dining room in the basement, but it can be delivered to the room.

Although we had stayed at other hotels in this location close to the Luxembourg we were enthralled by the description and reviews so decided to reserve. We were indeed not disappointed! Since noting that the suite they reserved for us involved climbing stairs that was medically difficult for us, they found a way to change to a single floor suite! The suite itself was roomy and thoughtfully arranged and decorated and the bath/shower had plenty of hot water. From the excellent morning breakfast to the evening glass of wine every member of the staff was exceptionally professional and friendly. We strongly recommend Le Senate for a comfortable Paris stay.
