    Pros +

    • Location is great but anything else is varying from a 4 star hotel
    • Absolutely amazing location, walking distance from most landmarks and a couple of minutes walk from the metro. The staff was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were the perfect size, clean and quiet.
    • The staff was outstanding, ensuring that we had anything that we needed. Breakfast was amazing, and the afternoon tea and cake was most enjoyable. They arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport, and take us to the train.

    Cons -

    • Rooms are smaller than it seems on pics, but more importantly hotel is no where close to being a 4 star. With its non conventional lobby/restaurant area and tiny little balcony at the back surrounded with buildings, not much motivation to stay in the hotel except for sleeping In the room.
    • I stayed here for 8 nights @ $575 per night. Before departing, I asked if I could get a coffee. The front desk said “no problem” and didn’t charge me. HOWEVER, just before leaving, the front desk manager asked me how many coffees I had (one) and asked me to pay €4.It’s not about the €4. (I’d have been happy to add it to my bill as I checked out.) It was that the manager (a woman with short dark hair) made a HUGE point of charging me. I think she was teaching her front desk a lesson. But she did so at a greater expense. It was awkward for me! (Not to mention that a free cup of coffee to a guest that just spent $4,600 with you isn’t the worst idea in the world. )What a shame to blow a guest’s experience and opinion of your hotel in literally the last minute.UPDATE: After I left, they charged my credit card for two minibar items I did not eat and a second coffee that I did not order. I had to wait for the hotel manager to be in (four days later) to have the charges reversed. No apology was issued for how I was treated and I was asked to remove my review.
    • Would prefer a softer bed. That’s personal though.

This charming hotel is extremely well run. It was very clean, comfortable, and well located near many museums, shops, and restaurants. The staff is superb ~ helpful and friendly and capable.

The staff were wonderful, the location excellent (very close to metro and the street was quiet), and the room was small but comfortable. However, the fire alarm went off two times for 15 minutes each in the morning and there was not even an acknowledgment for the inconvenience let alone the ear-piercing noise.

One of the favourite places in Paris, cozy , beautiful and stylish. All the personnel are as friendly and helpful as always and it’s always great to see them again. Perfect location in St.Germain. Love it

Location, service, friendly helpful staff. Quality linens. Honesty bar. Delicious breakfast.

Would prefer a softer bed. That’s personal though.

    The staff and breakfast

I thought it had parking but needed to park in nearby car park for €50 euros a day.

The hotel was lovely and clean, staff very friendly.

It was extremely loud outside at night. I couldn’t sleep. Our windows came out on to the street. It was noisy until 2 am, I had to close all windows and shutters, and could still hear the everything. I slept with ear plugs every night.

The property is clean and updated with a historic feel. The location was perfect to walk to the main attractions. The staff was amazing. We arrived early and were able to be placed in our room within an hour. We had a wonderful breakfast in the salon and again the staff was superb. I look forward to staying here again !

    Nothing we didn’t like

Everything was close to perfection: attentiveness of the staff, cleanliness, quality of food and service...too many things to name. Dominique and Valentine went out of their way to assist. Merci Mille fois!

Nothing we can think about to be critical.

Exceptional staff. The entire team were fantastic. Location in the heart of Saint Germain des Pres was perfect. Our suite was spacious and super clean.

    Hospitality, breakfast and comfortable rooms.

The shower should be better. Its location was not good, so water fell on the floor.

    10AnnaPosted on: 2-11-2024

Conveniently located near metro & St Germaine area with its art, antiques & brasseries. Fabulous welcome from staff and all through shirt stay. The twin room was big enough for two of us , with stylish interiors and fabulous bathroom , robes, slippers & nice toiletries . We paid extra for the Fougere breakfast in the beautiful communal space of sitting room, honesty bar and breakfast room. All beautifully presented. I would highly recommend and hope to return soon.
