Pros +
- Great location, Anthony at the front desk was a pleasure and super helpful with recommendations. Cleaning person did a great job, and the bathroom was splendid.
- Good location near bus metro & train25 mn from gare de Lyon Clean. Confortable bed .
- Hotel Le Trente has an excellent location. Batignolles is a wonderful, walkable neighborhood with lots of restaurants and shops right around the hotel on Rue Le Mercier and its side streets. Bus stops and the metro stops for the 13 and 14 are an easy walk (don't miss the beautiful park across from Pont Cardinet station). As for the staff, they were friendly and helpful any time I approached them. The room had a nice remodeled bathroom with a walk-in shower and the towels were in good condition. I also enjoyed the view of the street and nearby buildings from my window, as well as the good natural light.
Cons -
- Just needed better pillows for the bed
- This hotel could benefit a lot from some minor upgrades, namely the carpets. The carpeting in my room and hallway had massive stains all over it. Also, the pillows were very thin and the hair dryer clunky (you have to hold down a button the entire time or it turns off).
- Very small room and not feeling too clean

Location and staff’s kindness
Very small room and not feeling too clean
Cleaned everyday
Smelly room, dirty carpets
The staff was friendly and the room was decent. What I liked most about this hotel and even my stay in Paris was the neighborhood, Batignolles. If you do like to see how locals live, this is a neighborhood for you. Also, do visit their local park. Also, lots of boulangeries, where they actually bake.
No microwave or freezer compartment in the mini fridge. So, if you stop at the Super U to get some ice cream or something to heat up, you're out-of-luck.
Excellent area close to nice restaurants and walking distance to Montmartre, Opera and even the Eiffel Tower for flavours. The hotel is at the end of a one way street so it's very quiet and the area is safe. We had a room on the topfloor with a view over the Parisian roods and chimneys. My 13-yo was very happy about this. There is an elevator which was good for my 78-year old mom. We came by train, and there is a bus all the way from Gare de l'est and Gare du nord to the hotel that goes through Montmartre -- perfect sightseeing on the way. There is also a Metro close by.The staff is very friendly and helpful, and it's staffed 24/7 if you come back late. Very clean.. Very comfortable beds, though there was a bit of a scarcity when it came to power sockets for charging our phones etc. There was also a mini fridge for cooling water bottles (and in our case, French cheese).Notice: the restaurants in the vicinity close around 21.00 / 9 PM, so it's not a place for late dining. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, there are plenty of nice cafés around Place de Batingol. I will stay here on my next visit.
Taylor, the front desk night employee, was amazing! Super nice young man who gave us excellent suggestions for restaurants nearby (Thai at Home), tourist attractions and especially La Fête de la Musique à Paris 2025! Taylor is simply the best hotel employee we have ever met! We also loved this location on a quiet cul de sac, the neighbourhood vibe and being away from the touristy areas, and the beautiful parks nearby. The room itself was good with a comfortable bed and excellent air conditioning during the June Paris heatwave.
The only negative of this hotel is the carpets. The carpets in the room were very old and dirty and need to be replaced. But the worst part of this hotel is the hallway carpets on every upper floor...they were disgusting! Many large red stains that looked like blood! If the carpets were replaced, this hotel would be a fabulous little gem that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return to.
The location is exceptional! Many options of restaurants and boulangeries nearby.
A negative point: Our fridge was not working and it was very hot day, without cold water. We asked them to solve it in the first night. The staff of the night didn’t help much. But on the next day they solved it, partially. The room didn’t have the right wall socket for the fridge, the one that didn’t need the card put to be functioning, and everytime we left the room, the refrigerator turned off. But it was reasonably ok for us.
Location great, 10min from metro, walking distance to nice restaurants and playground. Extra comfy beds, we slept like babies. The window was facing inner courtyard so no noise from the street (although the hotel is in deadend street so pieceful even without that fact). Breakfast plain and simple, but good and enough.
Super small bathroom.
Nice location, not far away from metro Brochant line 13 and Montmartre. Has a few restaurants and bakeries around. As well close to flea market (Saint Ouen sur Seine le 18) but honestly it’s just a waste of time, unless you have a lot of free time. Overall, hotel is okay, good location, receptionist is fine. Didn’t try breakfast. You can drink tap water there it’s safe as Parisians claim. Interior is fine.
My main disappointment is the maid. She was kinda rude, pushing to leave the room sooner as if I begged her to come. Not a lot of toiletries, but that’s okay you can ask for more. And when unfortunately I got a little blood on my sheets, the cleaning lady didn’t change them, but put the stain to lower part of the sheet on the bed.
I liked the staff, I liked the amenities in the room, I like the bed and the refurbishment of the bathroom
Its a bit far from the city center.
Staff friendly and location is very good, convenient for metro and RER train, and in a very nice neighbourhood. Breakfast was quite good for France.
Hotel is quite dirty, the carpets throughout look like a murder scene and the rooms are tired. The bedding is clean but worn and the pillows are like someone has stuffed a pillowcase with old socks.
Very cormftable, close to 2 metro stations, clean
Really nice location, close to metro stations, great local restaurants, very nice staff, overall great experiance
The hotel is very close to metro and bus station, it is easy to reach all the museums, eiffel, etc. We stayed at 6nd floor, it might be the reason, the shower stream was weak, it is enough but not comfort. The staff are very nice, helpful, the room was clean every day, also the room is big, the beds are comfort. There is no cartoon on TV, my kids were looking for.
Great place and good value for money. In a cul de sac, so no traffic noise. Great neighbourhood.
Just a very noisy night, lots of noise outside/music early hours of the morning - some sort of event, probably a one-off but difficult to get to sleep.
It stunk and was very dirty -- it smells rotten throughout the hotel and carpets were terribly stained. Terribly stained. It was not clean at all.
The lady at the front desk is very nice and smiling.we arrived early .We like it because not too far from the metro station, restaurant and grocery store.the room is clean. It's perfect for me,my son and my husband.thank you.. highly recommended..
