Hotel de Belfort

They cleaned the room every day and replaced the towels. The staff was very friendly.

Lovely little place in a good location. What stood out was how clean it was, the beds were very comfortable and the staff were friendly and went above and beyond, we arrived about 2 hours early and they had our room ready which really helped so we could start exploring the beautiful early. We really appreciated that! Thank you. We would definitely return.

the front desk manager was very kind and helpful. The facilities were clean and nice, and the check in process was very quick and easy. The room was very nice, and for 3 people, not too crammed. The bathroom was a good size

The bathroom towel rack wasn't installed securely and kept falling off the wall, but it is a very simple fix. The elevator was small, but it was worth not climbing all the stairs.

It was best value for money over New Year’s eve and it was small, but clean and tidy and staff was really nice

Mould in shower door and dirt on bedsheets but overall clean.

Location was ok. Had to use the metro to get into central Paris. Metro experience was not great as pickpockets seemed to be everywhere! This of course was not the hotel’s fault. It did ‘colour’ our view of the location unfortunately.

The rooms were comfortable and clean; bathroom was cleand and tidy. We liked the location; quick walk to the metro. We really enjoyed the daily breakfast; it had everything we needed.

The tables in the breakfast room were a bit small; not much room in between them.

The cleanliness as there was a lot of dust, elevator was too small and required one person at a time to operate but was not a major issue overall.

Our room and hotel were clean and modern. We really liked breakfast! So many good options :) Beds were okay to sleep on and staff was friendly. Hotel was in good location. Many metro stations nearby and few restaurants at main street. Very easy to find. I recommend :)

The lift was narrow and if you have wheelchair I can promise, it doesn't fit in :\ Also the walls were pretty thin, so we heard a lot, in nights. And our room didn't have fridge. Maybe hotel could bring a free water bottle to guest also? :)

The elevator was very small

This is a basic hotel in an unfashionable area of Paris. We needed an overnight stay near Gare de Lyon but not so close as to be exhorbitantly expensive as many are around there. The Belfort is basic and family owned, and the foyer looks a bit like that, but the rooms comfortable for a night's stay and thoughtfully arranged. There's been an attempt at improving the sound-proofing - battens and thick sound-proofing sheets on the wall - but we could still hear some noise through the walls. The bathroom was clean and fresh and the bed comfortable, and we appreciated the tea-making facilities. There's some interesting restaurants within easy walking distance, and Gare de Lyon is a 20-minute walk.

The foyer and stairs really need some investment. It would lift the tone of the whole place.
