Avia Hotel Saphir Montparnasse

The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. Renaita, I hope I¿m spelling her name right helped me and my cousin by recommending places to go. The metro is located right across the street and navigating through Paris was a lot easier than expected.

The room was a little small but the view from the window was lovely, Also being in Paris not much time was spent in the room. There¿s a cost for the breakfast but there are many options and was fulling. Honestly I had an amazing experience. Book here :)

Great hotel. No complaints at all. The staff was friendly and helpful. Perfect location to be away from the tourist area, yet close enough to walk to everything. Safe area. Metro station right across the street.

The rooms are small, but all hotel rooms in Paris are. They are still comfortable.

No air conditioner

Great hotel for a quick stay in Paris. I stayed there two nights with my sister and we were pleased with the location (right next the pasteur subway station, and very close to montparnasse). The room is small, but that is expected for Paris. The shower was great.

The pillows could be better. The hotel can be quite tricky if you have large luggages. Not only the rooms are small, but their elevator actually leaves you in between floors, so you have to go up or down half a floor with your luggage.

The site

We were 7 as a group. There was too little fried scrambled egg in a mini pan heater ( only good for 2-3 persons i think). It was ofcourse emptied so quick as we were 7. The staff didn’t dare to fill it up anymore / again!??!!

Unfortunately, there was no parking available, the water pressure was extremely low, and basic amenities such as slippers and bottled water were not provided.

Excellent location, next to the metro station, rich breakfast, clean and comfortable room, however, not very spacious.

Nothing to complain.

The hotel is located near to metrostation, at a convenient place FOR SIGHTSEEING.

he room was not very clean, the night desk was dirty, when we requested cleaning and came back to the room the same surface of the desk was exacltly as dirty as it was. Breakfast is OK, however there was a problem with the coffee machine at breakfast. There is a POS terminal connected to the machine and some prices written on the menu for coffee. We paied 3 times for coffee. After that a lady came and said that the coffee is free of charge during the breakfact. This was not announced at all. We spoke to the receptianist, he said tha he can not reimburse us. I adviced him to put a sign that a coffee is free of change, because other guests were probably also misleaded by the POS and also paid. No any sign on the next morning. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Nothing, it was really disappointing

very poor service, the room was very small, the pillows very thin, the room smells bad and we had to leave every day the window open, the heating was open only at night and we freeze during the day, the service in general didn’t exist, the night receptionist never say hi, or anything else.

Excellent check in from Renata. and Excellent reaction from Reception. I was in room 102. and one family make a lot of noise during the night from room in floor 1, and I call the receptionist in the night, and he (sorry I did not ask him name), goes directly to room with noise and take action and request silence. That was great. I really recommend this hotel because people that work in receptionist. Renata and tall men that work in the nightshift.

Price. Not discount offer for next times.

The location was excellent, close to both the airport and the city's transportation network. Breakfast was good. The rooms were ample size and very clean. The beds were comfortable.

Because it's a renovated hotel in an old building, the elevator is located on the middle floor, so you have to climb about 8-10 steps up or down half a floor to reach it. We had some difficulty with our large suitcases, but it might not be difficult for everyone.

We only stayed one night (without breakfast). The hotel is easily accessible by metro and bus. It is located in a quiet and safe area. The staff was polite and helpful. Luggage storage was available. Our room was renovated and clean.

We stayed on the top floor, but the elevator only goes up to the fifth floor. (if I remember correctly)

Descriptions had me understand that the hotel is closer to Gare Montparnasse than it is.It is 20-25 minutes on foot or two metro stops

The breakfast was great, the location even better. Right across the street from the Pastuer Metro station, with a great cafe on the corner that has a modest view of the Eiffel Tower.

The elevator only goes to every other floor and the stairs are quite narrow.

The location was perfect because it’s close to the Gare Montparnasse. The hotel is pleasant and the room was rather clean and quiet. The staff were polite and helpful. The bed and the bedding were comfortable. Safe luggage storage after checking out. The Metro is less than a five minute walk, and there’s a bus stop just outside the hotel.

Breakfast wasn’t outstanding - it was okay, but the quality of the baguette, the pastries and the cheeses available could be improved. Having fresh fruit available would be nice, as well as a greater variety of fruit compotes and lactose free yogurt.
