    Pros +

    • Good location, good bed, tidy (but dirty)
    • Basic but sufficient
    • People should avoid this property

    Cons -

    • Mildew in the bathroom and on the walls, smells mustyCodes didn’t work for the door, someone had to come fixPhone number to contact owners did not work so had to email. They still haven’t responded to my email about check out that was days ago
    • Check-in is a bit confusing. Name is hotel but in fact the place is Airbnb room with self check-in. The price is included breakfast but breakfast was served either too late or not served at all. Staffs did not answered any of my messages. Very bad communications.
    • From the beginning to the end there wasn’t any response from the property. Even if we were almost locked out due to the lock system issue. Besides they cancelled the breakfast without any compensation or alternative plan.

    Confortable but small.

Advertised breakfast but after booked we were told no.This is NOT a hôtel. Third floor of a commercial building. Difficult to find…a very small sign. Given codes to get in.Way too many e-mails

    absolutely nothing

the location is in a bad area there is prostitutes that should tell you also our room 3 in the hotel had a fowl smell coming from the toilet we could not sleep that also gave me headache so much so we left first thing in the morning to find another accommodation we lost all our money with this booking,we told the manager they said they could not move us poor poor management minus 0 for this place

Great location, near metro station. There are a lot of bars and restaurants. Really quiet at night.

We didn't like that the accommodation was very small, there was nowhere to leave things, especially cosmetics in the bathroom. The soundproofing was quite bad. A week before our arrival, they informed us that they wouldn't be able to serve breakfast.

The room was quiet and clean, check-in and check-out went smoothly and the location is great!

You get a ton of emails for check-in, arriving, check-out, etc. - most of them multiple times. That's a bit confusing and should be reduced to the necessary. Also, all the messages they send you via booking.com are stripped of all links and therefore completely useless. (I know this is a booking.com issue, but it's bad when they rely on web services for check-in and check-out.)

Very well located place, no more than 15-20 minutes walking distance, to both Nord Station (trains) and the city center. Live area full of cute restaurants and cafes. Rooms with all amenities and nice decoration. Decent breakfast. Cleaning lady very kind and helpful, she served our breakfast and tried to satisfy all our requests.

Hotel space hidden in a building that serves various other communities, took us some minutes to locate the entrance and and the right codes to get in. Very compact environment, not suggested for those prefering hotels with view, open spaces and social life. Price per night could be lower taking into account the limited space and staff involved (no reception, no breakfast staff)

The rooms are nice and it is clean but it is very important to know that it’s a flat with 5 rooms and a shared living room where you get breakfast. It has nothing to do with an hotel.

I really like the concept, it is super uncomplicated! I had trouble finding Tinah at first but I called the hotline and they were super friendly and helpful. I also had to add another night because my train got cancelled. As I couldn’t get the same room so spontaneously, they took care of my luggage and brought it to the new room while I was out. In total it was a really great experience!

Very clean and comfortable, like a house. Great location and friendly stuff. Once you get around you understand this place provides all your need. I will be back.

Excellent location, nice neighborhood! Metro is near, also a lot of restaurants.

The hotel is just round the corner from a metro station and if you don't mind walking, there is plenty to see in the area and you are close to very good restaurants such as Bouillon Julien, local markets and shops, plus just a short 10-15-minute walk from Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. We really enjoyed exploring a different part of Paris. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. We were served breakfast by a friendly member of staff. The reception area has free tea and coffee available - but please note it is not manned and you require a pin code to access the area. Although we could not access our room until 3pm, we were able to leave our bags in the reception. Overall, the price is very reasonable for the centre of Paris and if you don't need to stay in the very centre or just need a base to explore the city then would recommend.

Not a complaint - but just to mention that you need a pin code to access the hotel, which is a floor of an apartment block. If you want to be greeted by a receptionist, you might prefer to go somewhere else. Also, there are several TINAH hotels in Paris, so much sure you put in the full address as our map took us to the wrong one! Fortunately, someone called back and helped us out. Otherwise, a good place to stay.

I had a fabulous stay. It 100% exceeded my expectations. From the first second i booked until the check out everything went very smoothly no issue at all. You receive all the information you need by email no hussle at all. Very clean, beautiful room with all the necessary facilities. Location is very good. The staff was amazing very helpful and smiley face all the time. You feel like you are home comfy and safe. The breakfast was really good too. This place is my where to stay in Paris place now. I will definetely be back to stay there again.

Once you get around, you understand hotel provides all you need - breakfast and cosy bed. Rest of day you spend in Paris and does not matter what you see from hotel window. Place actually is very good, somewhere in between all sightseeing locations.

May be a little more food options at breakfast. 3 days bread, chease, croissants i enjoyed. If staying longer - option of some ham or meat and fresh vegies sounds appealing?

The only nice thing about this hotel is Patricia, the girl working there.

I made this reservation because I was under the impression this expensive hotel had an air conditioning, even though the website does not mention it. However, the Tinah Hotel only has fans for cooling, and that information is NOT DISCLOSED on the website. Unfortunately, due to my medical condition, (as I have a terrible allergy) I cannot turn on a fan near me, as I risk ending up in a hospital. The moment I walked in the hotel at 11am on July 26th, and I found out that they only had fans (which, for me, is a bait and switch situation) I informed I could not stay. So, the nice lady at the reception, Patricia, told me the manager would come to see me. That was 11am. The manager came at 6pm, was very rude, disrespectful and blatant about it. However, he agreed that his website does not disclose they only have fans as cooling method. I then asked if he could place a portable A/C unit in my room, which was not possible, due to the room configuration and window mount. But, again, I agreed to pay for the first night, even though I was not inclined to stay there, but I told him I wanted my refund for the next 4 nights, since I could not stay there due to my medical condition.Since the room had a window, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and considered staying, which I did for the first night (July 26th). However, due to the extreme noise, bugs, cigarette smoke arising from the bar smokers below, the bar clients making terrible noise, all these made my life terrible! I did not sleep a second, and that was extremely frustrating and sad (NOTE: I have SEVERAL SHORT FILMS I MADE OF THE WHOLE SITUATION, at 12am, 1am, 2:30am, from inside the room). The following morning, July 27th, I left the property, and I received an e-mail from the property acknowledging I was leaving on July 27th, and informing me of a possible refund. I also sent the property text messages and message both through e-mail and through the Booking.com, but the property did not answer any of them.

Communication was good, all.codes for doors etc worked close to metro , clean and tiday, comfortable bed , good shower , friendly staff at breakfast

For the price no-one to meet on arrival, air con was plug in unit and quite noisy when you switched it on.not nice area outside late at night , felt more like air b&b than an apartment hire

Perfect location, personnel very friendly , nice room

Wi-Fi in room 5 doesn’t work, window in room 5 not closing completely (must be broken) , no full darkness at night.

Everything was perfect. Newly renovated rooms with very comfortable beds. Very clean. Minimal but nice breakfast in a cozy common space where you could prepare hot drinks and enjoy throughout the day. Very convenient location with nice bars and restaurants 3-5 minutes walking distance.

Good size room very clean excellent shower. Good breakfast, lovely young man ( Brazilian student) looked after us in the morning. Appreciated tea coffee being available beyond breakfast. A few minutes walk to metro was ideal, walking up the hill away from property a lovely selection of bars restaurants lie in waiting.

Took a bit getting used to keying in numbers, also on second day we noticed an odour from the drain in the shower room. Also the loo was separate which is great but please leave enough room to get in, the room was big enough for partition wall to be moved over a bit, thankful we’re slim but in the night have asleep it took a bit of fancy footwork.
