Ibis Paris Ornano Montmartre Nord 18eme

Clean and close to anything I needed...

A bit far frm the center but 2 subway stations very near so not a huge problem.

Although this hotel was in the 18th district, it was close to the Metro, everyday shopping, many restaurants and fairly inexpensive. Also, the room was pretty clean considering the age of the building and there was an elevator.

The air-conditioning was not very good, the shower was a drizzle with water pressure and quick to change the temperature by itself.

It's pretty far from most attractions and the rooms were pretty small but the staff were nice and breakfast was good

Location was excellent, near a lovely neighborhood and just a block away from the 4 train.

Easy to understand and compact. Staff were friendly and clear about everything. Breakfast was open for a long time with enough variety and quality foods.

It all looked a bit dated, and a bit small and claustrophobic. The area around was less pleasant as non french person.

Towels were a bit thin, and only two - no hand towels . Biggest issue were the room keys - we kept having to revalidate them - bit of a nuisance as we were on the 6th floor. Told it was due to our phones/ magnetic sources, but eventually someone admitted that some staff(nearly all I reckon) didn’t know how to set the correct expiry date!Also the area around the Porte clingencourt was a bit dodgy especially at night!

Friendliness of the staff. Very nice breakfast.

The elevator was out of order for two days. The mattress toppers were too short, and our feet were sticking out of the bed. In the last night, there were people sitting outside in the hotel courtyard and they were talking very loudly (almost shouting), which meant we couldn’t sleep between 11 pm and midnight.

All staff was realy kind and helpful , the location and the staff is perfect in this property

I know İbis rooms are always small but somehow this one a bit older and smaller. I chose İbis because of I want cleanness and min comfort in new / renovated enviorenment but bedsheets bathroom etc didnt seem fully clean to me :(

The area. It was near to the Sacre Coeur.

The room was very small and extremely noisy. The noise of the traffic and police sirens all night long. You can also clearly hear the people in the adjoining rooms on both sides of the room. The room was not cleaned properly as I cut my foot on a splinter of glass. The splinter got stuck in my heel and I had to get up in the middle of the night to try to cut it out with a nail clipper I had. Breakfast is terrible. The staff had zero smiles.

I like good friendly hotel with some mineral water and tea and coffee with compliments.

Close to metro and places to eat.

Location was sketchy. I got tricked at the laundromat across the street and I was lucky that only $10 was taken from me.

Bed was comfortable.

Location was terrible and felt unsafe. Staff should be trained at list in welcoming the customer and saying hello went doing the check in. The location, place and staff is far away from making you feel like you are in Paris.

The hotel is located near the metro *this is the last station*. The area and location are a bit dangerous, I wouldn't walk there at night *considering that this line passes through *gare du Nord*. The room is clean and they clean it every day.Thanks. The reception is not very friendly, often the employee is not there or is busy. The room is good for that price, but the walls and windows are cardboard. If someone talks in the garden, you will not sleep.

Kettle in room with tea/coffee would be great. If later to breakfast some things weren’t available.

Really good location. Not touristy, real France and really eclectic place with a good vibe. Excellent transportation links - literally a minute walk to the underground and 5 stops from Gard du nord! Very happy to have found this place. No frills but comfortable and location makes it all worth it too. We had lovely coffee and cake at Le REcyclerie and it was a gorgeous venue and really nice outdoor bit too! I’m unsure if it’s a hidden gem but it definitely felt so - felt like I’d found a real gem of a place. Really nice staff too.

Room right next to smoking area - noisy and stank of smoke. No kettle.
