Hotel Trianon Rive Gauche

The view of the Eiffel tower from our balcony and seeing it sparkling every evening was amazing. The staff was very helpful with recommendations for dining and buying champagne and wine near by. Great experience!

Tea time

The room is small, but that’s OK because I didn’t stay in the room I was out and about looking at the sites. It was clean and tastefully decorated.

Did I could not stay longer?

Location is amazing - it is in the best area for just walking an wondering around.Breakfast was very tasty and it included champaigne :-)

Balcony

WiFi drops constantly, water randomly did not work, lift was practically unusable the entire time, laundry person was not available.

Only the location was good.

Bathtub shower faucets are confusing to operate. If you are unsteady on your feet the tub shower could be a problem. And of course the bathroom shower doors are difficult to assure you don't splash water everywhere. This setup is common in Europe, not just this hotel

Great Breakfast,service and location

The location of the hotel is excellent. The receptionist, Ms. Habiba, was very polite and kind. In addition to English and French, she spoke Azerbaijani, Russian, and Turkish very well. She provided us with useful information about the must-see places in Paris and helped us with several reservation arrangements.I would also like to mention that we were traveling to Paris for our wedding anniversary, and we had informed the hotel about this through Booking. They gave us a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower, and they also surprised us with champagne and cookies in our room. I sincerely appreciate the hotel staff for this thoughtful gesture.If I visit Paris again, I will definitely choose this hotel.

The only minor inconvenience was the small elevator located on the right side of the hotel. It made going up to the upper floors a little challenging at times. I understand this may be due to the age of the building and the elevator being added later.

Excellent location close to the pantheon and Luxembourg metro. Several attractions are within walking distance. Excellent breakast.

The cleanliness of the bathroom/tub.

Decent sized rooms, very convenient location, staff very helpful and delicious breakfast.

the fact we had to go up a few stairs to get to the back elevator wasn't awful but it would have been better to have the newer, larger elevator to access the entire hotel.

Soundproof windows, great view, convenient location, quality bathroom, elevator, staff spoke english.

The walls are not soundproofed. It was like my neighbors were in the danger room with me. The bed was a little hard, it would be nice if they offered mattress toppers.

The location was the only thing.

This was not a 4 star hotel. I was given a tiny room on a high floor with padded walls which apparently was an attempt to block out some of the noise from adjoining rooms. The fabric on the walls was frayed, the bathrobe was worn out and frayed, there were no side tables by the bed, the mirror was falling off the wall in the bathroom, there was no holder for the toilet paper roll, you could not get to the closet because the bed was in the way, and the mini fridge had only two canned drinks.

The location was excellent! The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and the room were nice and clean.

The room was extremely small. The taxi driver that the hotel called for us ripped us off. The driver charged almost as much for a ride to the airport, for a ride only a few miles from the hotel. We knew it seemed very high and it was confirmed by a local that we were cheated.

We were so happy to be given a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower- that was fantastic! The room, facilities and staff and breakfast were excellent!
