cant beat the value for money in Paris - great location good staff comfortable bed this is literally the best value for money in Paris you can find

being kicked out between 11-3 every day for "cleaning" - this was not made clear enough when booking. I mean its the time you are usually out anyway but still.

The location is great, super nice staff

The mattress felt like an old sponge. We are used to sleep in dorms but this was another level of uncomfortable. The common toilets and bathrooms were not clean and reaking like old public bathrooms. Also, you hear every sound coming from the common areas. I'm super sorry, because the lady at the reception was absolutely lovely.

Hotel was so full that they didn't have any towels to rent (they aren't included in the price) but we managed just fine. Also no showering allowed after 11:00 or 11:30.

The ubication

My experience at this accommodation was very unpleasant. The rooms had a very strong smell, similar to the smell of feet, which made it impossible to rest or sleep comfortably. The odor was constant and truly unbearable.In addition, the bed sheets were not clean, which is unacceptable for any place that offers lodging. The lack of hygiene and the bad smell made the stay very uncomfortable.I would not recommend it until they significantly improve the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms.

The lady at the reception was very nice and friendly. The price was the cheapest in the city at the time. The location was good - a lot of cafes around (though many of them not the cheapest), and pretty easy access to public transport.

The hostel itself is terrible. You don't want to stay in there longer than 20 minutes. Doors have gaps below so it is easy to hear what's happening in the hall all the time. An the walls are so thin I could hear someone snoring the whole night. The room feels like a prison cell. The bed sheets are horrible and beds not comfortable. ! They kick you out between 11 and 15 o'clock. What a stupid rule. I'd rather book something a bit more expensive than return here again.

The staff and location were good. Including breakfast is a great idea, especially for young travelers on a limited budget.

The lighting was poor. The rooms were not soundproof, so you could hear people walking in the corridor or taking showers, which was a bit annoying. I also wish the breakfast options changed occasionally, at least the type of jam. Additionally, cleaning time was every day from 11:00 to 15:00, during which we had to leave the room. This was the first time I experienced this kind of stay.

Accessible near to restaurants and train station.

No elevator, room are to dark, Toilet is not good to be honest shared but still not good.

I really like the hostel, I just had a problem with one of the receptionist, who was extremely rude with my mom and I, we just asked for a spoon and he said “here is a hotel, not a restaurant, if you want, you can buy one”

No small table provided in the room and hook to hang the clothes especially the jacket or coat

Nothing. We walked out and didn't sleep there. It was so bad we couldn't even hang around to argue that the third bed in our room wasn't even a bed but a portable fold up spring "brd" that was bending like a banana.

The bathroom was so bad we couldn't believe it. The barn doors were bizarre. The whole place needs to be demolished

Staff at breakfast rushed us to leave the restaurant and were quite rude but the you g lady on reception was very nice

The staff was really nice. The beds were comfortable and the shower was nice.

The room we had was for four people, there was only ONE socket. So during our whole trip we never had fully charged phones or laptops. They have some type of curfew where you are NOT allowed to be in your room between 11am till 3pm. Mind you these are rooms that we PAID for. And they have many more rules inside this place.Towels not provided you have to pay 3 euros for a towel. And there is barely any light in the room.Me and my friend got foodpoisoning and asked if we could go to the room during the cerfeuw, the staff was nice but said we can't go in the room untill its cleaned (they couldn't make an exception). We then had to wait 40 minutes (mind you we are sick) and were not given the key card in-order to prevent us from being able to leave the room.We thankfully were only there for 2 nights. Its cheap so I guess we shouldn't have had high expectations. But we will never book there AGAIN!

Stayed here with a friend. It was a great location. Beds were comfortable. Staff was nice

Did not enjoy having to leave from 11-3. We stayed only 2 nights and did not need our entire room cleaned. The only other complaint was the bathroom/showers. No bathroom in the rooms, only a sink. Bathroom was down the hall and so were the showers. No real door for the showers, any body could go in while you were showering. Was not the most ideal for the bathroom and shower to not be in the room, but it would have been okay if there was at least a lockable door for the showers.

No AC in room if not at least fan should be a must.

It’s a really good option if you want to save money. It is comfortable and the breakfast was good. The people who work in this auberge are very friendly!

Maybe that the bathroom does not have an air extractor and that is why the door has open space below and above. Uncomfortable since the bathroom door is in the hallway.

It was in a great location - near lots of shop and less than a 5 minute walk from a station. Breakfast included comes with unlimited refillable drinks. Rooms are cleaned everyday during times 11am-3pm, so rooms where pretty clean.

The rooms can get quite stuffy and hot. Rhad to hand in key every time you left the building, which was slightly annoying since reception could be quite busy.

The structure was very clean

You don't have access to your room from 11am to 3pm which wasn't specified at time of booking. All staff was extremely strict and would kick you out after a bit and moan even if you were hanging in the common areas. I was also denied to shower because it was 10.40 am so almost cleaning time...They wanted the hostel completely empty for cleaning for four hours which is highly unreasonable considering they host paying customers and room cleaning only consisted of floor mopping which wouldn't take more that 15 minutes if done meticulously.
