Pros +
- Nice reception staff, by the way they can supply you with an electric kettle at your request. The hotel is on a quiet street just 200-300 meters from Charonne metro station in a nice middle class area with plenty of shops and eateries of any kind. I personally liked to find an individual bar of soap on the sink shelf in the bathroom. 24h reception, which may be useful in a case of a late arrival.
- The crew is great, they will help you, even though the helpdesk guy forgot my give me back my suitcase charger, I believe I will get it soon enough.
- It's very close to the clinic we work with
Cons -
- The room is not gigantic, but this is normal for the price and that area of Paris.
- The most noisy Hotel I've ever been in. It's like a construction site 24/7, each footstep outside the stairs you can hear it like inside your room!If you really need to save your money and you have no other option so this hotel will be perfect for you But if you're coming to vacation - prepare to dine in hell !!! ?
- All night all day people are moving chairs and suitcase and furnitures the damn walls are too thin. You can hear someone lighting a cigarette in the lobby. You can hear anything. You can hear your neighbors talking like they are in your own room! This is the worst hotel I've ever been in. From 1 to 10 is minus 6000 ! About the crew were great ! I like them . From 1 to 10 > 10 ! ?

It is quite a walk from Gare Du Nord so take a metro. However, is is a short distance from the bars and shops around the Bastille region. The front desk staff are very helpful, the wi fi works, and though old, the hotel is very clean with a comfortable bed.
Great location and value for money. Comfortable beds.
Very noisy guests next door throughout the night.
Location, price, large room for one person (room 22), friendly reception staff (French speaking), quick checkin and checkout, fast wifi, quiet room overlooking back, plentiful hot water
Faint mould smell as you enter room, but not at all disturbing once inside, and room/bathroom clean
Good location, clean, safe, staff 24h, affordable, no cockroaches or bedbugs during my stay
Thin walls (you hear love sounds and talking very well from other rooms, old pillows / bedding
Staff was very friendly, location was good
We needed to check out early but there was no one at the front desk. A night before we asked if is available to check out early and they made sure its possible, however, that was not true.
Location
Room was cramped. No fan, a/c, it was super hot and noisee. Worst stay
Location of the hotel is superb, only couple of minutes walk to a metro station. Great value for the money. Friendly staff.
Great little room in a cool suburb, easy to find and get around.
The hotel is in a quiet side-street, just off of Rue Voltaire. The room was cleaned and the bed was made every day. Short walk to Charonne metro station. Good selection of eateries nearby.
I would have liked to have access to a room-safe, to store my valuables. It's a typical 3-star hotel, so don't expect them to roll out the red carpet. There are no facilities like tea/coffee making or a hair drier ( that did not bother me but it might trouble you ).
It was close to cafes and metro.
I booked for 4 rooms, one of them has a toilet that smelled really bad - like poo as per my sister. We can all hear each other through the walls so lower your voice if your going to talk about private conversations. A bit dodgy place so be careful during the night.
The location was fantastic. Just out of the tourist zones but had a real nice local buzz. Great bistros and bars nearby and well connected. Sheets and towels changed daily and a comfortable bed to relax after a long day exploring Paris.
It was basic. Ok for a base to regroup and recoup.
Low cost hotel and close to the city center are the main pros
Really basic hotelGood option for a single person stay with limited budget for 1-2 nightsFor a honeymoon stay, i would increase the budget by 40-50euros in order to find a much better accommodation
The location was pretty close to where I was heading to every day of my stay.
Awful, awful cleaning. Years of dust on and behind the radiator. Leaks from the water pipes. Lots of noises and heavy conversations till about 11PM. Poor sound insulation.
It was simple and I could come whenever I wanted. The noises weren't too loud.
You can't talk with the staff but for absolute needs.
Location was good, near cafes and a bus stop to get into the main tourist attractions.
The bed was broken and bowed into the middle, the room felt very dirty with mould present on one of the walls. The room smelt damp in particular the bathroom. The bathroom pipes could also be heard from every room coming through at all hours of the night.
Good location, friendly staff, tidy rooms.
Walls were thin, also I know it wasn't the hotels fault but a couple got into a huge fight while I was staying here. Cops ended up coming to the hotel and was his whole scene. A few days later that same couple were still in the hotel being loud again. Also the paint in the washroom was peeling off the wall every time I showered. Other than that it was a good place to stay
