Hotel La Folie des Pres - Saint Germain des Pres

Small but very cozy hotel. Harold was super helpful and very friendly.

So very quiet outdoor noise, super surprised. The room was larger than expected. Very close to great shopping and Bistros. The coffee in room was instant but the Les Deux Magots of which we were given vouchers for breakfast was excellent.

I believe it was the elevator that made a bowling alley type noise, since I did not hear during the sleeping hours, it was livable.

Location is very good, central to lots of eateries and shopping.

Room was cute but uncomfortably small. Needed two beds but they were tightly placed so it felt like sleeping in one bed. Bathroom very tight

We loved EVERYTHING! It was clean, comfortable, the location was PERFECT! It was a 4 minute walk to 2 metro stations, the bus stop is right in front! An amazing bistro is right next door with delicious food! The front desk staff always went above and beyond! It was super sage, there was an attendant 24/7. The gentleman that was working during the day was a joy and so kind! Warm cookies daily in the lobby! A lift! They cleaned room daily! We absolutely loved our stay!!!

The staff were absolutely amazing - warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The location is fantastic and very walkable, with easy access to multiple metro lines and many nearby restaurants and cafes. The room was extremely small (almost dollhouse-like at first! and elevator can fit only one person with a luggage), which was a bit shocking initially, but it was impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed, and we quickly got used to it. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee and unlimited bottled water. Overall, a lovely stay in a beautifully located hotel with outstanding service.

A few more hooks for towels would make it even better.

Friendly, helpful staff eager to make your vacation experience special. Comfy bed, cute Juliette balcony offering view of the neighborhood. Short walk to Le Marais, across the Seine to the 1st arrondisement, 5e and 7e. Walking distance to metro stations. A solid choice in the charming 6e.

The classic room category, the hotel's option for couples, is really tight, but perhaps this is standard for Paris. Oh, and I did not get the promised bottle of Champagne for Christmas day stay ;-)

All the staff were very helpful and polite except one female front desk employee who was mocking the way we greeted her in french although we don’t speak french we were being polite, she laughed and talked about us in French with another employee which was very disrespectful and made us very uncomfortable , other than that everything was good and the other employees were very respectful

Amazing location & walking distance to several metro stops & all of St Germaine & Luxembourg gardens are close by. Staff could not be nicer & more helpful to us. Harold went above & beyond for all the guests.

The room while very clean was far too small for our comfort. Even by European standards it was tight. We could not pass by each other in the room and nowhere to store luggage.

What a marvelous small boutique hotel! Everything — from the stylish interior design to the friendly staff — was exceptional. The rooms are small but very cozy and sparkling clean. The French balcony adds an extra touch of charm. Daily housekeeping keeps everything spotless, and a lovely breakfast is available next door. A perfect place to stay!

Rooms are quite small, with limited space to store clothes, so we kept ours in the suitcase. It seems the hotel is in an old building, so that’s probably not something they can easily change :)).

The rooms are impossibly tiny, not refrigerate in the room, cramped and narrow hallways and no storage to speak of.
