Pros +
- Almost nothing. Just nice cafes nearby and access. Cheaper shops
- Location was great. Breakfast too
- Location was walking distance to train station and on a quiet street. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Cons -
- Space. Behavior of the receptionists. Room service. Cleaning
- I got bit a few times the first morning when I woke up and it's swollen 3 days after.
- Rooms were fine, but pretty tiny. With two twin beds + a desk, there really isn't much room to move about a whole lot. If you're going to be out and about in the city for most of the day, it doesn't really matter.Amenities were pretty sparse, and the breakfast isn't worth the price (€12/person) - not a whole lot of choices, especially for vegetarians. Better to head to the boulangerie around the corner.

Location is really nice - the hotel is a 2 min walk from Place de Clichy metro (lines 2 and 13), which offer good connectivity to central Paris and all the tourist spots.Staff was friendly and accommodating (we had luggage left there after checkout for the day for a late evening departure). There are two great boulangeries up the street for breakfast or a snack, and several restaurants around the area for a late evening meal.

Close to restaurants transportation and great staff
The 3 star property is situated close to Metro Line 2 Place de Clichy Stop, which is very convenient to other lines and access to Bus 30 which stops at several top sights, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triump, , etc. Auchon Market, Carefour Xpress, Montmartre, Moulin Rouge/ Pigelle, all walking distance, Evening areas around Moulin Rouge/ Pigelle not great, need to be cautious/alert, Hotel Area is good and safe, Hotel is bit old and requires refresh, my rating would be 2.5 stars. In the lobby, coffee and water, is chargeable. Breakfast was not included as we opted to visit Boulangers and cafes situated around. “Parisenne Effect” Price point was fine but if upgrading, better choices in the area!
The standard double room had a very small shower, with my fat belly (185 lbs) every nite, a bit difficult to wash properly, My thin wife (120lbs) had no issues. In retrospect, upgrade to a deluxe or Superior not standard, The AC would not set at 21 or 20 Celsius,, 10 mins later , it would revert to 25, which was frustrating since opening the window incurred noises from diners and traffic.
Location
Room was terrible and smells, paint coming off the wall and people smoking next to the room.Don’t believe the picture you see it’s really old pictures
The location was great for my purposes and close to the metro. The hotel is clean and newly renovated. The room was small but cozy and clean. The staff was very friendly and helped me with important information on how to get around Paris. They also agreed to store my food in their fridge. The breakfast was reasonably priced and had a great choice of options.
The air-conditioning was not working great. I could hardly feel it, although I set it at 16C, but it was still hot. My room was under the roof, and it got heated by the sun during the day.
The staff were really warm and welcoming. The location was perfect, just a 3-minute walk to the metro. The hotel and room were very clean, and the breakfast was delicious.
Location was excellent! Close to restaurants , sights.,Metro and transit. Very pleasant area!
Location, friendly staff and good value for the money. Nice breakfast. Air condition. Near to the metro station, up to 60min walk to all attractions and nice bars arround the hotel. Allso a supermarket. Perfect accomodation for short stay in Paris.
Small bathroom.
It’s close to train and to Moulin Rouge and restaurants. It has a nice bakery nearby for breakfast.
There is a weird bathroom smell. It is small but you get what you pay for.
Charming boutique hotel in Montmartre with cafes, markets and metro within walking distance.
I liked everything. Everything is on the small scale but that is part of its charm.
The hotel is inexpensive for Paris, it is in a lively area, close to many restaurants, as well as metro, laundromats, and grocery stores.
My number one concern is poor security. The hotel provided only 1 key card and required that it be left with the desk whenever the guest leaves - and while some clerks recognized me, other clerks just accepted the room number I told them with no security. A secondary concern was that hotel, although inexpensive for Paris, had the trade-off that the room was small, with not enough places to put luggage for two people
On edge of Montmartre so good walk to main area, but pleasant.Room comfortable and clean.
Location was fantastic. Room was clean
The funky smell in the bathroom
The location .One of the receptionist( the one who comes for night) was very kind and helpful .
One of the receptionist( the older man who comes for morning ) shouted at me on my first day . He could have spoken better . The house keeping wasn’t the best . Basically no cleaning is done .
The receptionists were kind and respectful. The room was clean. And the location was perfect, near metro 13 and 14.
The shower. The door to the shower area could not be closed,so when I took a shower there was a lot of water on the bathroom floor.
Comfortable, clean room. Comfortable bed. Staff were pleasant. Appreciated the cleaning staff putting my flowers my boyfriend bought me in a vase and clean water! That was really thoughtful. Location was great, easy to hop on and off metro to get into central Paris and also good walking distance to Sacre Coeur. Great selection of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. Despite having lots of restaurants etc nearby it wasn't too noisy.
Not much. I will likely return!
Excellent location, helpful and friendly staff, our fifth stay at this hotel and we’ll definitely return.
