    Pros +

    • The hotel staff was lovely and accommodating. I really have to hand it to their maid who has to bring supplies and towels up 5 flights of narrow stairs every day.
    • There was a nice bakery next to the hotel . we were able to drop our bags off earlier for check in.
    • Nothing is good here

    Cons -

    • You truly get what you pay for. This hotel has a lot of character and could definitely use an upgrade, but it feels like the kind of hotel you could find a bohemian playwright working away or a young migrant family on their journey to their nest step
    • WiFi was slow and kept turning off and the curtains on the shower didn't close there was a bit of tapping on the wall from other guests no controller for the tv
    • This is by far the most unprofessional and disrespectful hotel I have ever dealt with. My reservation was fully confirmed, yet when I arrived at midnight, they refused to let me in without any explanation. The staff were rude, careless, and completely unhelpful.I was left alone on the street in the middle of the night and had to find another hotel by myself. This is absolutely disgraceful behavior for a place that calls itself a hotel. They took my money and didn’t provide any service — a total scam. I will report this incident to every possible platform until my refund is issued.Avoid this hotel at all costs. They don’t deserve to be on Booking.com.

    Absolutely no thing

I arrived at the hotel at 16:30, when I was informed that the room was not ready and that I should return after 30 minutes. I went out for lunch and returned after one hour, but the room was not ready; I had to wait an extra twenty minutes for its preparation. The accommodation was the worst I have ever encountered, and there was no hot water available till midnight. The room lacked heating and was situated on the ground level, directly facing the street. The window did not provide thermal or acoustic insulation, resulting in an inability to sleep due to the cold and the noise from the street and reception. I have contracted a severe cold due to the night I endured without heating. They provided a little fan heater, but it was defective and ineffective. The room lacked electrical outlets for charging the phone. Upon inquiry, they located the socket behind the bed and the other behind the sofa. The lavatory lacked mirrors, and upon requesting one for shaving, I was provided with a grimy, frameless mirror, which resulted in a cut on my hand when I attempted to adjust its position. Upon my request to activate the heater, they informed me it would be turned on October 15th, which is in ten days. The following day, I was relocated to another unsanitary room, which was warmer than the initial one; nevertheless, it lacked electrical plugs. Upon searching, I discovered one behind the nightstand. The room reeked of cigarettes. Throughout all interactions with the hotel staff, they exhibited a distinctly unprofessional and entirely indifferent demeanour. The most disheartening aspect of this trip is that, despite being a loyal client of booking.com for two decades and having made hundreds of reservations, including hotels, car rentals, flights, transportation, and sightseeing, my call to address the issues I encountered was met with inaction and a lack of assistance. I intend to cease utilising booking.com.

The location is good: near Montmartre and Chateau Rouge metro station. Rue de Romey is a interesting place to eat and walk.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I had three pieces of luggage and had to climb six floors, which was extremely difficult. The common areas are dirty and smell of cigarettes and alcohol, and one day I even saw a homeless man entering the hotel. The rooms are very small, and you can’t take a shower without getting the whole room wet—or even the bed. Really bad place.

The location was good and the only reason why I was fooled to boook it.

This is the worst hotel ever. Its a zoo that smells of smoke. Holes in the curtains and bed spread. There were bedbugs, punaises de lit and I could not sleep at all. There were mice making lot of noise and running on floor. They came from behind the bed, they were in the battery and came out from the window curtains. It sounded like the mice were tearing it to pieces. And the window of the small double room was to a very noisy schoolyard so there was not possible to take a nap or wake up after 8. It's not a childfree hotel. Please close down or at least be removed from Booking.

    Location.

Our experience staying in the hotel was horrible. Starting with a disgusting smell in the room, and holes in the walls and blankets. Continuing with bathroom doors that barely move and do not close properly. The shower system is very badly organized so water runs directly out of it and because of the above-mentioned conditions with the doors, water reaches the bedroom. Moreover at night sometimes there was no hot water in the shower. First day we did not receive even basic hygiene needs such as toilet paper or towels so we had to go to reception and ask for them. The Wi-Fi connection barely reached the room and for us foreign travellers it was very uncomfortable.Furthermore, we experienced disrespectful treatment from the administration of the hotel. We were told by the administration behind the reception table that our check out is 2 days earlier than we paid for, and to stay longer, we needed to pay more. We had all the documents and screenshots that prove that we paid for all days and we have full right to stay in the hotel for 2 days more. The administrator again checked and admitted that he made a mistake but this type of situation caused so much stress and we felt very unsafe. Moreover during this conversation at the hotel entrance came up a stranger who wanted to come inside and our hotel staff whom we were communicating with and figuring out about the the current problem, started to scream and act very aggressively towards the stranger which caused even more discomfort. Finishing our review I would like to mention the last situation that left us even more confused and disappointed. The hotel administrator who usually sits behind the reception table was found sleeping in the same room on the floor at night. Terrifying conditions for working staff always create the worst experience for customers.

It was clean, staff were incredibly friendly. Phenomenal hospitality from all staff went above and beyond, the place was cheap and value for money, a complimentary bottle of water upon entry and greeted with such kindness, we’ve been travelling through Europe and it’s one of the best services we’ve had. Thank you from an auzzie and Irish!

The staff provided with bottled water which, in summer was quite a welcome relief. Also the location is great. Next to the subway, close to many great sight seeing places and restaurants.
