    Pros +

    • The customer service. the staff was very attentive to our needs and assisted us in giving information on the area, directions, and services available in the area.
    • Near Metro, cafes. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nicely decorated. Spot on!
    • What a lucky find! The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. It was very tastefully decorated in reception, the room and bathroom, possibly newly redecorated, there was not a mark or chip on any wall! They’ve gone modern and simple but not soul-lessly so. Not fussy, chintzy or Louis XIV style.Lovely spacious room with decent closet space and great big mirror! Very essential for Mum and Daughter bookings :) Our room looked out onto the street behind which was a quieter street but nonetheless, the double glazed windows were soundproof - as were the walls and ceilings - we didn’t hear a thing from the street or neighbouring rooms! The staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful, even funny. A great team, their hard work is paying off as the hotel is a fantastic find in Paris.Location was really great as well - Oberkampf is a cool little area of its own just outside the Marais. Great selection of independent bars, restaurants and epiceries depending on what you’re after. 10min walk to more night time area just past Parmentier - dive bars, pastrami counters, canteen style steak and chips and independent bookshops a plenty.

    Cons -

    • The hotel elevator is very small and is hard to fit luggage and more than one person in the elevator
    • Absolutely nothing
    • The convenience and comfort could go further - the mattress topper was very comfy but did cause us to overheat badly as its synthetic fibers don't breathe - perhaps you can switch to natural fibres next time you replace them? Some bedside rugs please (floor was cold!) ; hooks for clothes in bathroom and more space to hang up wet towels are needed. The fridge did not get cold but this wasn't a problem in February. On the upper floors one is not overly disturbed by street noise (no more than any other hotel), but sound insulation between rooms could be better. Fortunately the kind staff had a word with our neighbours who then behaved with more respect (thank you again). Also, for environmental reasons, the hotel could update policy to provide new towels only on request - just a suggestion.

Good sized room with large & (mostly) comfortable bed and helpful, friendly staff. Great Location for local restaurants etc , train stations and getting to rest of Paris. Unlike some others this hotel provides almost everything a traveller really needs - two window blinds for both dark and lighter black out, a real bathroom door (not glass or badly fitting sliding) , bedside tables and lamps, tea and coffee facility in room, small safe and fridge , a proper wardrobe and a suitcase stand. The rooms feel/look a bit basic but it's a joy that all these fundamental facilities are provided and that the beds and staff are good. Many contemporary hotels lack these and simply provide Insta-perfect boxes for beds (the design looks great in pics but there's nowhere to put your stuff and no-one around when you need assistance). This hotel has not forgotten to put traveller comfort and convenience first, thank you.

Lovely staff, very friendly and welcoming

Bathtub is a bit high and made it a bit awkward to step into

    Location good, clean and tidy

We paid a strong price for a hotel advertised beyond what it delivered. We were given 2 tiny rooms on the ground floor and were woken up by staff both mornings before 7am. Breakfast v average for the price - an extra charge i might add! Also bizzare rules for room keys. The picture make it look nicer and bigger than it is

Great location, clean room, great shower, and very friendly staff. I'd come back again!

The location is excellent, quite central and very convenient. This hotel deserves a 10/10—and I almost never give a perfect score. My room wasn’t large, but it had everything I needed and was perfectly comfortable. What truly made my stay exceptional was the staff. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring, making me feel welcomed and well looked after throughout my stay. Thank you for your outstanding hospitality and hard work—you truly made my visit special.

The bed was extremely comfy. I loved the location of the hotel, right in the heart of the 11th. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The TV had Netflix and other smart apps :)

It was a little tricky to keep the room at a good temperature. The one time we left with the window closed, we returned to the room being quite warm. But easily solved!

the location is great, with many nice restaurants, bakeries and shops around, without being surrounded by tourists. The local market on Friday and Tuesday is very nice. Room was comfortable and decent size for Paris, extremely clean and well maintained - no carpet on the floor, daily cleaning, fresh sheets and all. The hotel is simple but tastefully decorated, with little details that make it welcoming and cozy. You have complimentary water/coffee/tea in the room and the staff at reception is always happy to help and provide advice. I will be back for sure.

the room is heated at 21°, which is way too much for my taste. You can regulate it with a thermostat and airco/open window, but I would have preferred it to be lower by default, with the option of raising it, instead of the other way around.

    Great location and wonderful staff

Small elevator (difficult for baby with stroller) and small rooms, but unsurprising for middle of paris!

    8SamPosted on: 1-18-2026

Location excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. Price was very cheap for quality and location.

Room was compact. But I went for the smallest room and knew what to expect.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, it was quiet and peaceful area. We had everything we needed in our room and the staff were very friendly and nice.

The hotel was so near to all of our favourite bars and restaurants in Paris and the Le Marais district was within walking distance. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

    Nothing, perfect stay.

It was very close to Rue Oberkampf and the metro. It was within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars, Place de la Republique and Le Marais. It was very clean and the staff were both friendly and very friendly.

After a couple of nights, the bed was a bit soft and undulated.

    10AnnePosted on: 11-25-2025

Exceeded all expectations. We experienced the most friendly engaging staff and the neighborhood was a 10+ in our opinion. The market on Sunday . . . the bakery up the street, the 24 hour concierge service - what a great gem!!

    10Marie-l.Posted on: 11-19-2025

We liked very much this small and very clean hotel. Thank you so much to the receptionist Mohammed who was so friendly and professional! We will surely come back. We would recommend to take the superior rooms.

We had a room with a bathtub. It is quite difficult and also a bit dangerous to climb into the bathroom, because it is slippery and there is no bar to grab. It would be important to put a bar .
