Hotel Marais De Launay

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for the visiting we wanted to do in the Marais. The room, while small, was functional and bright.

The location was excellent - very close to metro stations, restaurants, shops and bike rental racks. The area felt safe and many things were within walking distance without being right in the middle of noise or chaos. It was about a 10min walk to the Republique area and about 15mins to Le Marais. Have to give a special mention to Patricia who was welcoming, funny and helpful when I arrived as well as Bilel who was also polite and helpful - both worked on reception and were very helpful and accommodating. I'd stay here again.

These aren't things I didn't like but just to be mindful of - it's a small boutique hotel (which I loved as I've not experienced this before) so there was no gym, or spa and the breakfast area is fairly small but this is what made it cosy and chilled. Stay here if you want something peaceful, but don't expect what you might get at a more expensive or chain hotel.

Perfectly located in the 11th arrondissement near Place de la Bastille, this hotel is a gem close to the Marais district. While the room was compact—as is typical for Paris—it was clean, quiet, and well-equipped with everything I needed. What truly set this stay apart was the service; the staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond for a first-time visitor, even mapping out a sightseeing itinerary for me. I highly recommend this hotel for its fantastic location and even better hospitality.

The staff at the reception was very friendly, the location is great, the lobby is very clear and well decorated.

My room was very small which I expected but they could do a little effort decorating. There is NO decoration whatsoever, just a twin bed again a green/lime wall. The room felt like a hospital room. I think a little painting here and there would help make the room more enjoyable. Beside that, I liked and enjoyed the hotel for its location, friendly staff and everything was clean and working properly.

The location was close to the store Merci and it was a vibrant neighborhood. The staff was very kind and the room was clean.

The hotel was very cute and well-located. The pillows were great! Too many times hotels have flimsy feather pillows. These ones were actually supportive.

The room was a tight squeeze. As we were only staying one night, it didn't matter much to us. If we return for a longer stay, we will be booking the deluxe room.

Location is great! Close to subway station, restaurants and stores. Staff super friendly and breakfast terrific. We'll be back soon.

The room we were in seemed a little dated and the bathroom could do with an upgrade. But nothing major, just a spruce up.

Great location, very clean, very friendly staff. All and all not bad at all, as an anchor point to the Bastille area.

Room is small, decor is simple and old fashioned. Sound isolation isn't great.

The entire experience was great. The hotel was off a quiet & safe sidestreet, with restaurants and coffee shops within a few minutes and the heart of the Marais in 10 minutes. Very close to a few Metro lines and the Bastille farmer's/food market. Very cozy lobby, reception manned 24/7. Elevator and steps up to the floors. My room was clean and overlooked the street and had a nice view. The room had a water boiler and coffee & tea, good water in the bathroom, mini fridge, good bathroom. Bed was great, good room with everything I needed to unpack and stretch out. They offered a breakfast but I did not partake, as you're a few steps from great bakeries a few minutes away. Glad I picked this hotel, and would definitely return.
