Cons -
- The homeless just next to the entrance to the hotel
- I missed a fridge in the room.
- It was a bit expensive and breakfast selection may be broader but that’s good value to location and service for Paris:)

Everything. Cozy place, friendly staff and the rooms were nice. The shower was great.
I missed a fridge in the room.
Location was very good. Our room was small but convenient. Everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast pastries was really good, congrats to the chef. Croissants and pain au chocolats were as good as the famous boulangerie’s products.
It was a bit expensive and breakfast selection may be broader but that’s good value to location and service for Paris:)
The dining garden (at back of hotel) was lovely…
Elevator was small, bar could be more “charming”.
Staff was very helpful and the location was excellent. Rooms were small but that was to be expected in Paris.
Compact but comfortable room. Water and coffee in lobby. Great bfast vibe on weekdays. Staff was very helpful. I’d return.
Pretty clean but could have done more during 4 days onsite.
Was centrally located, but not on a busy street. The room had a great view of the street. It was large for a Parisienne hotel.
The elevator was very tiny. But the stairs were readily accessible.
Staff were very helpful with securing cars/vans to and from destinations. Breakfasts were lovely. Size of bathrooms and mirror positioning were challenging as well as hand held shower. Overall a very good experience and would recommend to friends and would return again. Thank you!

Hotel Oratio was all that we could have hoped for as a base for our Paris vacation, a little jewel box located in the Latin Quarter. We loved the clean uncluttered decor of our room as well as the atmosphere of the hotel in general. We especially enjoyed the cozy breakfast room and the delicious breakfast buffet. All of the staff were very welcoming and accommodating.
Great location. Friendly staff downstairs. No bed bugs
Cleaning ladies did not do the best job all they did was make bed and change sheets floors we’re disgusting and our socks changed colors after walking on them
Location ist very good! By bus you can reach all important things in 20 minutes. The size of the room is very small, but there is everything inside what you need! Breakfast we did not try, we love to sleep longer then until 10 am.
I booked a Superior Double Room and, while the room was clean, it was extremely basic. There was no charm or warmth whatsoever—something I might have overlooked if the rate weren’t $250 per night. The photos online are quite deceiving. The location is far from the main attractions most visitors come to Paris to see, and I was not allowed to view the room before paying in full, which was surprising and disappointing. Although the neighborhood itself is pleasant, there was no exceptional view from my room as the listing implied. On a positive note, the staff was friendly, but overall, the experience did not justify the price.
I booked a Superior Double Room and was very disappointed. The room was clean but extremely basic and not worth the $250/night rate. No refrigerator, no in-room coffee, and you’re given an empty bottle to fill with tap water downstairs. You also have to go downstairs every time you want a coffee—very inconvenient. The towels are grey, not white, and the photos online are misleading. The hotel is far from all the main Paris attractions—about a 1-hour walk. I also wasn’t allowed to see the room before paying in full. The staff was nice, but overall, the hotel offers poor value. The room is realistically worth no more than $150/night. Very disappointing.
Location: close to everything! Well maintained. Staff is amazing. Breakfast was wonderful. Room and bedding was so quaint!
The room is tiny but efficient and so pretty. I love the bathroom, it is so compact but has everything. Complimentary tea, coffee, and drinking water are provided, with a refillable bottle. Tiny elevator, but it is efficient for 2 big luggage to fit in with one person.Location is superb; I can travel from the airport in a limousine, but can also travel through the city easily on the Metro.
The room is tiny, and opening the 30-inch luggage is challenging, but it is still doable. I wish the bathroom/toilet were brighter so I could see the mirror clearly.
Convenient location, was able to walk to a lot of attractions and metro was easily accessible. 2 self service laundromats nearby as well.
Elevator is small but manageable.
We have stayed in the Latin Quarter many times but this hotel was by far the quietest, cleanest with the most comfortable bed. We loved the location for sightseeing and take off point for the day.
Really nothing was negative about this hotel or our stay! It was just great all around!
Location in a neighborhood near public transportation and a very helpful staff including a wonderful breakfast every day.
The location overall was good.
The hotel did not look like the photos online. Very disappointing. Everything looked really shabby, the furnishings in the lobby were all really worn and dirty - it needs a remodel. The room was very small and not as pictured in the photos online.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Elevator large enough for people and luggage. Room was very clean and comfortable. Bo close, but several hooks to hang clothes if you have hangers. Bathroom great with a glass-walled, walk-in shower, good lighting and amenities. Close to a several metro stations and great walking to lots of sites, as well as great restaurants and shopping. Very convenient. Definitely will stay here again. I enjoyed the Coffee/Tea Machines off the nice Lobby. I did not have breakfast, but I heard other guests say it was very nice.
