Hotel des Vosges

Bathroom and shower were clean and the view was nice for Paris. Staff was friendly. About 30-40 minutes walk to some Paris main attractions.

Of course the narrow circular staircase is long, but this is Europe so it’s normal.

The place is a 5-10min walk from metro and bus stops which is the biggest plus. The room was overall comfortable, a bit plane but good enough for a short stay with little time in the hotel. The staff were helpful and allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel before check in and after check out. The bathroom is a good size.

No lift available, therefore would be difficult to navigate the narrow stairs with a big luggage. No shower gel provided. You can hear what is going on above and in same floor.

Great location, not too central to experience a more residential area but still with good metro links and easily in the city within 20-30 mins, the room and bathroom had everything you needed and was very spacious, the staff were friendly and also very helpful.

The room is a good size, clean, basic furniture provided, only 1 minute walk to the metro. Close to many shops.

No lift/ elevator, narrow staircase, but the staff on duty were very kind and helped to carry our suitcases.

There was mice running around our room and the person above us was stomping around at 2am for about an hour each night

The structure is well positioned, close to bus and metro stops.Rooms are big and clean.

The services are essential. The beds are not particularly large nkr comfortable The WI-FI not always works fine in some rooms farther from hot-spot. Breakfast is poor.

One can hear everything happening in the room above or by the staircase.. there are only strong light in the room, impossible to dim. No hooks to hang coats or towels

Excellent location, close to metro and bus stops. The room was very spacious and warm, which is important at the end of November. Good shower:) I was offered breakfast although it was not initially included in the price. Nice staff, very polite and helpful. They helped me with my suitcase.

The staircase is narrow and steep. Take it into account if you have trouble going up the stairs.

It's an older hotel, located on a street with a market, a grocery store and many good restaurants, bars and bakeries a few steps away. The metro station is about 100m away. They have 24/7 reception. The heating, plumbing and shower pressure was good (not always the case in older hotels). The price was good, as I didn't need any fancy facilities - most of my time was spent exploring the city, and I just needed a room to rest.

The cleanliness could be a tad better. It didn't bother me, but be aware that there is no lift and the stairs are quite steep and narrow. The walls are quite thin, so you can occasionally hear other visitors, but I just use earplugs to sleep, so no problem.

Clean, the room was cleaned every day and towels and bed linen were changed. The staff was friendly and the service was good.

Basic hotel- great value for money- few minutes from metro and round the corner from a wonderful buzzing bar! Second time staying here!

Staff were very friendly and helpful, we got first floor which was good considering there's no elevator. Right next to a metro station so easy to get around. Not noisy. The room was very spacious and had a small desk which was great.

There was a power outlet on only one side of the bed.

I liked ok the area

The room was quite small but extremely white with no paintings. Impossible to read . Halogeen lights too sharp .We missed extra hungers and some extra chairs. The staff was always kind and they give us 2 extra pillows. There were only 2 medium size towels. I asked for an extra small. The room was warm. The shower was nice. I reported that the sink was a bit blocked. In general it felt a bit poor and depressing. The room was cleaned every day. But I made the mistake to book there.

Simple clean and well located hotel with very friendly and helpful staff located close to a bus stop and metro that will take you to all of the main sites! Enjoyed our stay here - near many restaurants and supermarket! Would recommend for anyone wanting a nice no fuss hotel within Paris city limits for a good price!
