Unfortunate choice

Not an Ibid Style.

Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Clean room.

Absolutely tiny especially the bathroom. I was very glad to be petite to fit in the shower.

The bathroom is really small. It was a little challenging to get a shower. Also the room is small but very comfy. The breakfast was 5/5. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room was very tight, since it was just below the roof and with small roof window, it felt a bit claustrophobic. Just one electric socket at the night stand the rest placed near the floor next to the bathroom. No minibar/mini fridge. Shower doors were not possible to close properly, water was leaking on the bathroom floor. My room (and based on the floor plan all single rooms) was located right next to the elevator, which is quite noisy, also walls are tin enough that every time people stood in the hallway and talked (or kids screaming and fighting) it was like they were in my room. Also there was some sort of mechanism hidden behind the cover above the door right next to the a/c that made a weird clicking sound regularly.

Helpful staff. Hotel short walk to to Metro stations.

Narrow shower door

I've stayed here before so knew what to expect, it's a good quiet location and everything is pretty comfortable in the hotel. Being an artist I love the art work in the hotel. For Paris it's a reasonable price. Breakfast is good, plenty of bread, pastries etc. it's about a 15 to 20 minute walk to Montparnasse station, similar time to Luxemburg gardens

Everything was good except that my room was near the elevator so I couldn’t sleep well as every time the elevator is used there was a loud sound of it in my room

Room was small

Comfortable beds, super quiet - no road noise and didn't hear any hotel neighbours. It is not located in the centre of Paris but we liked the neighborhood and there is easy access from a metro station a short walk away.

Breakfast was OK but I am a picky breakfast person. A bit more fruit/veg would have been nice. Thanks for the peanut butter though - nice touch! Coffee was not great - the coffee upstairs in the lounge area was good.

Disappointing to stay in an...

I would have scored higher but I was charged twice for the city tax - I paid on arrival before being given my key, then when I left the following day they insisted I had not paid the city tax. I had a train to catch and my french is not really up to those kinds of arguments at 7am. Since coming home and checking my account - yes I have paid twice. I was offered a receipt when I paid the first time but declined - clearly a mistake.

The location close to Pernety metro station, the breakfast, the simple bedroom
