Gardette Park Hotel

Leaving this dump.

The elevator is BETWEEN FLOORS. The elevator lands BETWEEN FLOORS. A tight, circular, elevator connects the two floors. It's difficult navigating luggage upon exiting the elevator. The front desk receptionist was disengaged and aloof.

Hotel was a lot smaller then expected. Not a fan of the twin beds. Did not have face washcloths. Further from attractions then I expected.

The location, the price of the room and the cleanliness. Also the window was great.

No bar fridge in the bedroom

This hotel is beautiful, and in a very nice, quiet residential area. The front desk staff was very helpful, professional, and friendly. It is a bit out of the way, but an easy walk to the train station. I will definitely stay here again.

The shuttle ride to the airport is a bit expensive.

Price

The room is smaller than advertised. Photos are deceiving and the room does not look as advertised. Location is okay. Kind of far from the tourist parts of London. The price is good but not the average hotel. Limited wall plugs, limited room space.

The hotel is relatively recently renovated so everything functions as expected (e.g. A/C worked perfectly during the heat wave in July). The room is clean and comfortable. The room was a little small, but that is to be expected in Paris.

The hotel is somewhat distant from Metro stations and not exactly "close" to Marais (a good 15 to 20 minute walk). Breakfast was somewhat disappointing.

The location is amazing the staff very friendly and welcoming (Nicolas)and larrissa clean our room spectacularly. We had a great few nights.

We really appreciated the staff. They were super helpful, kind and responsive. Since we’re primarily English speaking, their ability to communicate with us was appreciated! The room was super clean and updated. Just enough room to spread out for comfort.

Loved the breakfast, the location, room design.

Closet and limited hangers were minimal. I would have like a bit mote space to hang clothes and iron things.

Location was great, the room was nice and clean and it was with an absolutely gorgeous view on the park. The breakfast had nice options and everything was delicious.

The walls are too thin. I could hear people's conversations on different floors. There's 1 central small spiral staircase connecting all the floors and a tiny lift for one person/luggage

Nothing. It claims 4 stars, but it’s worth 2 at the most.

Unhelpful staff, elevator between floors, narrow stairs. Mould in the bathroom. Very basic furniture

Location was perfect. Quiet and with good access to buses and metro. Plenty of eating places in the vicinity.

The room was very small and it was difficult to regulate the temperature. By contrast, the bathroom had no heating at all and damp towels stayed that way. A fire alarm at 08.45 on Saturday morning turned out to be a test (although it sounded for around 10 minutes). Tiny lift meant a long wait at times (we were on the 5th floor).
