Staffs were nice

Very old property; dark color towels; hot water was so cold; showering set broken (never work); no way to take shower. Horrible experience! Room was super small! No drinkable water; you have to pay 2 Euros for a small cup of coffee. Not recommend!

It was not at all as my booking ! It was not clean at all there where insect every where! It look like a family managing ! Nice people ! No investment in it

Dirty hotel. I found bed bugs in my bed when I woke up and the moquette was terribly dirty. I was very disgusted and wanted to leave, but I read in the reviews that it happened to others and they were never reimbursed. Since I was on a budget I accepted to change rooms and the second room at the 3rd floor was cleaner. It was complicated to shower because the water was either extremely hot or very cold. I am very disappointed that booking is advertising this facility

The Hotel is in a very nice neighborhood, it has several places to eat and a Carrefour (for groceries) just around the corner. There are two metro stations nearby: Place d'italie and Govelines.

The bed was not that comfortable but it was just the right amount to have a good sleep. Sometimes the towels were a bit rough, but nothing to worry too much about it

The receptionist was a good guy

If cleanliness is important to you, this hotel may not meet your expectations. The towels provided were very old and did not appear clean. Typically, hotels offer white towels, but here, each towel was a different dark color and noticeably worn out. Additionally, the bathroom sink was not functioning properly water would collect in the basin and drain very slowly.

The location was perfect as central to all areas to visit Paris. The hotel was clean and quite and the staff where very pleasant and helpful.

The location and the calmness - not a single noise...

The disappointment started with the arrival in the room - smell of mold. Old, worn bed cover. Old, worn, faded towels. Not working TV. During the night, we understood, that the mattress is so much bended and we had to sleep at the left edge of the bed. In the morning we went for a walk and came back in the evening. We were surprised by the people from the reception (may be the owners, I don't know), that we do not have a water. It was a big disappointment, because we were walking all day and we needed a shower. Also we were not able to use the toilet without water. They offered us a small container with water (5-6 l.). Despite everything, we said OK, because we were told, that we will have water for sure in the morning. But we didn't. So I asked the lady at the reception what is the problem and are the going to solve it at all, because it is impossible to stay without the water. The lady promissed that by noon we will have the water. Again I said - OK and we rushed into nearby cafe, so we can go to the toilet and wash our faces. In the evening, when we went back, we didnt have a water AGAIN. I said that, we are going to leave and we want our money back. The lady agreed, but they said that will give us back the money for two, not for three nights, because we didn't left hotel before 11.00. And I said - But we were told, that we will have water by noon and the lady said just - "I didnt said that, I said that I don't know". So we packed our bags and left. I had my money four days after, but I had a really, really big disappointment from this hotel. So, be aware!

The worst experience I've ever had staying in my life as a traveler. When I checked in, I went to the room and the experience started with the noisy elevator that seemed like it was going to fall down. When I got to the room, the bad smell was very strong and the floor seemed to be coming loose. Even so, I stayed because "It would only be for two nights." I went out to iron and when I came back, there was no water at all (she gave me some bottles of water, but I preferred plain water). I didn't have any more water, she said she didn't know and there was nothing she could do. I contacted the booking platform... late at night they told me that I would refund the second day of the stay... The next day, I swiped my card and reported having been refunded, but to this day the refund has not been made to my account. Anyway, the worst stay and I never recommend it.

Very well placed, calm street. It's an old building, but it's clean and I found the bed comfortable. And there is an excellent chinese restaurant just around the corner, perfect for a night passing through Paris

staff are condescending, didn't get ripped off with tourist tax like others did, but you have to leave your key with receptionist when you leave the room... bit weird. Place was dirty, didn't look like it's ever been cleaned, stains on walls and sheets. Wardrobe and draws were dirty so we had to keep all our things in our suitcases. Plug sockets looked like an electrical fire waiting to happen. We had a strong suspicion that people may have been going through our things while we weren't there, we have no proof, this is only suspicion, however we came back one night to find out door open and the bathroom light on. The bed had a massive dip in the middle, as though the frame underneath was broken.

It’s a very old hotel, in a strong need of a strong and massive renovation. Actual rooms have nothing to share with the pics shown in the site… and are far worse than the latter.

There was a fridge in the room which is a big advantage if you stay more than 2 days.Large bathroom.Functional heating.Big mirror. Nice and friendly stuff.Location is very good (but in big cities - like Paris - it always depends on what you are expecting and where you wnat to go). However the metro line 7 is very very close.

The quality (and comfort) of bed was not very good.TV signal was poor and TV did not work all the time properly. (However it is not any big inconvenience.)

The location was very good although not central. There were nice restaurants, bars and a market very close by and the transport connection to the center was very easy.

Unfortunately, this accommodation is an experience I would not like to have again. First, I booked the room and, since I was eligible, I chose a room upgrade. With that in mind I saw some pictures of possible rooms I could stay in. I really miss it when I was at the place, because I discovered that the room upgrade I requested was never done, as I found myself in a very poor quality room which had a too small heating radiator to warm the room. They brought me a second electric heater which, however, made some strange noises and gave off some small sparks all night long. This resulted in me not being able to sleep well, in addition to the uncomfortable bed, as you could feel the metal bars piercing your body. Also, a big problem of the accommodation is the fact that at the time of check-in there was no one who spoke even a little English. Communication was done with nods. Finally, the entire floor of the room was sticky and the towels resembled personal towels that may have been forgotten by a previous guest and the property decided to use them, or like towels that the owner brought from his home for hotel guests to use and the toilet was dirty. The windows were of an old type, which resulted in the cold penetrating the room.

Older hotel in a quiet street, plenty of businesses and shops nearby, excellent access by metro and bus to the center, 2 km walk to the cathedral. We had daily cleaning, regularly clean towels, regularly clean bedding. We could leave our luggage at the hotel for free upon arrival and departure. Friendly staff.
