Novotel Paris 20 Belleville

Great location. Within steps from the metro and local buses. Staff was very friendly. Room was very clean and spacious and the hotel was very modern.

Only negative was that the fire alarm went off very early in the morning and one of the elevators was not working and I was stuck in the elevator for a few minutes. Regardless, I very much enjoyed my stay here and would definitely return again

Location was perfect for who I was seeing

I have stayed here many times over the years and found that it appears to have gone "down hill". My room was not cleaned properly. I had to ask for fresh linen and towels, the floor wasn't vacuumed and we found old food in the refrigerator. The breakfast was so not worth the money. No juices avaliable, the bacon simply was not cooked, the eggs were runny to hard on the bottom of the dish. the breakfast talbles needed to be washed off better.

The location is great, the metro station is just across the street and there are plenty of options in regards to restaurants and bars in the area. The room was being cleaned every day and it was spotless.

The room was very small for three. Also, there were some minor maintenance issues, ex. the handle of the bathroom door was broken.

The breakfast was the worst. I’ve been coming to this hotel for several years, and this is the worst it has been. There were no juices set out. The bacon was raw. The eggs were runny. The bread was less than fresh, and there was no variety not to mention there was barely any fruit. This was the worst I’ve seen it.

The staff here were incredible, very friendly and helpful! The rooms were also spotless clean and luxurious with rituals shower gels and creams left in the room for use. Location is also just outside of a Metro station which was very handy! 25-35 minutes away from most main attractions!

Rooms could have been slightly bigger. Not a huge issue but something worth noting.

Location is great right at the metro stop. Beds comfortable. Great shower. Fold out bed for my son is the best he’s had on our Europe stay. Filtered water machine near the elevators to top up drink bottles.

The staff at reception were not friendly. They need to work on their customer service. They only spoke to you if you spoke to them. Really not like other hotels that greet you when you arrive and leave. I stepped on a pin in my room and I told reception who just said they’d tell the cleaners to vacuum not ask if I was ok etc. Cleaners and bar staff were friendly just reception looked like they’d rather be anywhere else but there. We had problems with tv the first night and they fixed it for us. I asked for a receipt at check out and they said they’d email it but I still have not received it

The hotel is located så close to a metro station, which was very easy for us to move through the whole city. The staff were friendly and coaprative. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable, the wifi and the bathroom were very good.

Good location, clean, modern kitchen and the refrigerator. Chris the owner provided an excellent customer service. We were welcome with a bottle of wine!

Beautiful hotel, every day cleaning, very polite and helpful staff ,almost everybody spoke English fluently, also the hotel is close to metro station

We booked the half menu (breakfast and dinner included)The twin room was significantly smaller than the double room, the area for dining and breakfast was pretty small so if you had breakfast after 8:30 and dinner after 8 there was a possibility that you would have to wait for a table even if you had a reservation. Also at dinner , the options were pretty limited and you could have starter with main course or main course with dinner which is strange because every other hotel i have been with dinner included offers starter-main-dessert. Apart from the food ,everything was pretty good. So in my opinion book only breakfast

The beds are of memory foam, which didn’t fit my body. Which meant I didn’t sleep very well unfortunately. But the rest of the hotel was great.

The property seems to have new facilities. It has a good size dining area. And I love the scent they put by the lifts.

Needs improvement in cleaning. We found one of the pillowcases on our bed had make-up stains and hair on it. The window in our room did not close. Made the room slightly cold.

The Gym’s equipment were good, however the gym is small, staff were amazing very helpful, very clean hotel, bed sheeting were very good as well.

The dinner at the hotel restaurant was not satisfying, both at the food quality and service levels. I would have preferred to have the option of a rate with only breakfast included.

Location;

No water bottles in room; dust on first day ( corrected then)”, sir pugs not working; only decaffeinated. In short it does not deserve a 4 stars in my opinion

Toilet separate from the main bathroom as there was no sink to wash your hands straight or to refill bidet, had to buy portable bidet.

Comfortable beds. Nice breakfast. Good location, in front of the metro.

The bed sheets were too small for the double bed and not the best quality.We had 2 rooms. One of them had a leak from a bathroom pipe and some of the carpet was wet. The hotel staff offer us some complementary breakfast for the first night and changed the room on the second night.The breakfast tray from another room was left 24 hours on the corridor.

Pleasant hotel, with kind staff and good feel. Very good option for families - metro very close and less than 10 min to center
