    Pros +

    • Excellent breakfast buffet and excellent waiter managing breakfast from Senegal
    • Loved the location, very central to the sightings. It was very convenient for us to just walk from Gare du Nord station to the hotel and walk to Montmartre. Room was quite comfortable for the two of us.
    • Wasn't anything specific that me and my wife liked during our stay

    Cons -

    • Rooms need refuriahment
    • The pillows were a bit uncomfortable for us as they are either too hard or too soft like squished. We are use to the mid soft pillows. Even the Double bed which we had booked, there were two individual beds kept together which made it uncomfortable to share the bed as a couple.
    • We booked a Superior double room, the heating in the room was dreadful and we had to stay with the bathroom door closed because the heater there wasn't working and was constantly cold. The staff did change our rooms after many complaints that we want our money back (which never happened) for the actual room we booked but during winter, the heating is dreadful in every room apparently. The bathtub water in the first room and the shower in the second room take 6 MINUTES to heat up. The rooms were "soundproof", apparently soundless so you can hear everything going around in the next room hallway, maintenance that was going on in the hotel. The hotel offers you earplugs for the noise, which I find ridiculous considering the price paid and the "features" offered for each room. Hotel doesn't even have a manager to address issues, we were told to email the mother company for complaints and if lucky we will get an answer within a week. Breakfast was bland overall. Avoid at all costs this hotel for stays longer than 1 night.

The place was very small. The hallway is extremely narrow.

One of the beds was rocking. We had to fold the legs and sleep flat on the floor.

Great location, friendly helpful staff, good breakfast, room had a balcony, room was small but fitted to a high standard and was very comfortable.

The hotel was good value and had no issues

    Location

Room smelled, drains were evidently not cleaned causing this smell.

Clean , beds very comfortable, friendly staff

Needed more tea & coffee in room ,but staff were very helpful when requesting extra

Perfect location, 4 min walk from Gare de Nord so easy access to all prime tourist destinations. Amazing staff and breakfast was great value.

Bed was abit small and sometimes had bad drain smell

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the common areas of the hotel were nice. The room was quaint and clean.

There was no help with luggage. There was no way to contact the front desk. The thermostat was not accessible. The bathroom smelled bad. The worst part though was that the walls were so thin that there was a couple (perhaps a sex worker) in the room next to mine that was loud all night and proceeded to get in a screaming fight at 4:00 a.m. until about 5:00. Doors were repeatedly slammed. It was the worst night's sleep I have ever gotten in a hotel.

Very comfortable bed and room. Very close Gare du Nord. Friendly and helpful staff.

The location was great and the staff was friendly,

The coffee machine broke on day 2 of our visit and was not repaired by day 3. We asked for a refund for our prepaid breakfast and were told that only the manager could refund us. Said the manager would be in in a couple of hours later. We came back several hours later and we were told we had to email the manager. They would not share the name of the manager with us either. Still trying to figure out why it was listed as a superior room... Tiny, room even tinier bathroom with a shower head that did not bend and we had to hold it to get water on ourselves.

    Everything, staff were amazing

Everything it was simple but very clean and comfortable

    5MahtabPosted on: 1-19-2026

    Location was good .

The room description mentioned a city view, but I was given an attic room with only a skylight on the ceiling. The elevator went only to the 5th floor, and my room was on the 6th, so I had to carry my luggage upstairs. Also, the room did not look like the photos shown on Booking.

    Location central, friendly staff

Card would not work constantly. Rips, tears, dirty and dingy, central air in our room broken, teapot broken, hot and stuffy, the entire building is falling apart. It’s awful. Do not stay here, the photos don’t look like the hotel in person. If we were here for more than a night, we would have switched hotels.

    8JoannePosted on: 1-17-2026

Very friendly staff and a great location. It was also made our stay so much easier having an early check in and being able to leave our luggage there after check out so we could enjoy the day luggage free.

Bathroom door didn’t close properly, but staff noted it so they could look at it and repair.

    6DaniaPosted on: 1-17-2026

The hotel was good, but there were bed bugs in the room. I requested a room change, and the staff did it.

    Staff are horrible...terrible...!!!

Staff would have attitude. Ths hotel is in the hospitality business. If you are in this type of woek, you are expected to be pleasant and courteous. Adminstration should hire front desk people who could provide good service! Your front desk personnal sets the tone. They would create the first impression for the business.

Stay was ok , staff was friendly and welcoming Room was warm , quite and sufficiently spacious Location just few steps from La Gare du nord ,

Hot water was an issue, hot water comes late after opening the bath tap .Bathroom very small

Location very convenient for Gare du Nord station.

The pictures are awesome but in reality it is a very old place.

    7StuartPosted on: 1-12-2026

The location for the Eurostar is excellent, the bed itself was comfortable and the front of house & hotel staff very helpful and the breakfast was good and they let us leave our cases all day.

The room 602 we stayed did not live up to my expectations as the bed was pushed into the eaves so I couldn’t sit up, the bathroom was poor, the shower was far too small and I’m not tall and generally it was of poor presentation however 604 where my daughters and grandchildren stayed was better as it had 3 separate sleeping areas so they were happy. But the hotel generally was not representative of what the pictures and description presents. In future I will stay away from the station for a higher standard and pay more even though this wasn’t particularly cheap but we paid for location.
