    Pros +

    • Staff was professional
    • Close to the train station
    • Helpful staff, near Gare du Nord and lots of restaurants.

    Cons -

    • Terrible look, no maintenance seems to have been done in years, carpet dirty and old, smells bad, one power outlet in the room, old furniture in bad shape, pillows are 2 tall, bathroom and linens seemed to be clean but after everything else?
    • They charge too much for breakfast that¿s not even worth the price. Hotel bedding¿s noted with dust and hairs on the floor at the toilet. Ceiling was cracked open with brown stain due to rain. Not much of ventilation either.
    • Minor damage.

Too loud at night, walls were thin, didn't love the location, some staff were very nice and others weren't. This hotel is essentially one step up from a hostel

Location close to Gare du Nord

Small room lacking in numerous essentials: No clock, shower curtain, iron, thermostat, privacy sign. Only one electrical outlet low on wall by the door. Larger bed was two twin beds pushed together. Had to leave key at reception desk when going out.

    Location

Hotel room was dirty, bathroom was tiny, no AC, elevator was not working on our first day. Room balcony was shared with 4 other rooms and guests could peer into our room if they wanted to, and we had to sleep with windows open b/c the heat was unbearable.

    3Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 6-23-2018

Location was close to the Eurostar station.

No A/C kept the room hot, it was too noisy to open a window because the street noise was loud. Room was dated and furnishings were poor. There was no shower curtain, bathroom got soaked. Stains on most linens and towels. Carpets were dirty.

    6Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 6-22-2018

Only 3 min walk to the Nord station where we ride the Eurostar to London.

Extra charges for a kid. Outdated, like a 70's room.

    5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 4-30-2018

    Near the train station.

Very noisy inside. I could hear conversations and people walking up and down the stairs.

    8FabricePosted on: 1-26-2018

    Clean, good location, nice staff.

Having to drop the key card each time you go out.

    1Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 12-29-2017

The only slightly positive thing in the location.

It was the worst hotel experience ever. I had my friend come for a visit on Christmas and I was completely humiliated by the man working the desk who started shouting at me when going up to the room that I could not have a guest. It turned out I could.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-29-2017

They were able to provide me with one of the bigger rooms when I request a room with 2 beds. We actually got a room with 3 beds. For Paris, this is a good hotel. They were able to checked our luggages before and after check in/out. Friendly staff.

There is a nearby place that would ring a bell. It happens during the day so you're good at night but if you got off of a flight/train ride early and want to nap during the day, the ringing of the bell might interfere with your nap.

Located just a couple of blocks from Gare du Nord, the hotel was close to metro, bus, RER... Great service too and awesome beds!

Very tiny elevator and on a busy street. There were Police sirens throughout the night. But once we closed the Windows it was all good.

    9WilliamPosted on: 2-17-2017

I loved the staff and the location of the place...only a block from Gard du Nord.

The showers have no shower curtains! One of the staff members told me the hotel owner thinks that shower curtains are not unhealthy. Duh! Kind of stupid. I almost fell several times on the wet floor after exiting the tub/shower. The elevator is TINY!

Good location, had a quiet room, the bed was comfortable, the room was renovated.

The hotel forced me to pay an extra fee per night that was not listed in the paid amount on Booking (on top of the city tax). They use this tactic to advertise false prices. The shower had no curtain so there was water everywhere in the room. The shower gel has been replaced by "eau de javel" that burnt by skin.

    Good breakfast.

A bit noisy from other guests. The room with kettle and tea/coffee would have been good.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was cozy and the beds were very comfortable. The location is convenient, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our time here.

The location was great. Close to the train station and easy access to the city

The cleanness was horrible. The rooms was not cleaned and smelling smoke.

    9StefanPosted on: 2-2-2026

Close to station, rooms relatively spacious for central Paris, large bath, natural light

Was overall very good, met all expectations

Comfortable, warm and cozy, friendly staff, location is very good

Thin walls, you will hear all neighbors
