- Almost everything was good, it was clean, it was in a good geographical location, the hotel staff was polite and kind.
- Great staff, nice rooms in a pleasant neighborhood, with plenty of shops and well connected with transportation
- the room was old but clean and big. location nice and quiet, near the metro station. the hotel was open24/7 and we could leave our luggage before and after our stay and this helped us very much. hotel staff was very helpful and and polite
Cons -
- It's just that the noise from the next room could be heard clearly, and even the sound of the toilet flushing in the next room echoed in our room.
- My room was always too hot. There was an AC, but it didn't work. The front desk staff tried to turn off heat, but room was still warm. I opened window for a bit which helps, but then it was too noisy.Next issue was noise, not just from the street, but also from within the building due to wooden floors and walls being thin. If you wish to stay here and are sensitive to noise, then bring earplugs (?) but overall, it is a super nice hotel. I would try again, but would ask for a quieter room.
- Small room and elevator, but fairly typical of European hotels in older buildings.

When I first arrived, tired and jet lagged, the staff allowed early check in! Which I really appreciated. The staff were always very friendly. Room cleaned daily. Great location: metro 4 minute walk, bus stop outside hotel, many cafes, restaurants close by. Grocery store right next door, super convenient. Cute little boutique hotel and overall, I really enjoyed my time in Paris.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, and decent value for Paris.

Adequate room. Ok location
Small. Expensive
I stayed here just one night and had a very good experience. The room and bathroom were small, but very nice and clean. The building has an elevator, which was convenient, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent – close to cafés, restaurants, and the metro.
For me, the price felt too high compared to other options in the area. I also stayed in a nearby hotel that offered a bit more space, so if I return to this neighborhood, I would probably choose that one.
Comfortable beds and rooms, no noise, slept well.
Superb location, close to shop, metro and launderette if needed.
We had a lovely little balcony, but not all rooms have one. Be aware that there are 6 floors and although there is a lift it is quite small. This should not be a problem.
Nice historic hotel in the city
AC in the room didn’t work very well.
Clean and nice staff. Had air conditioning and water, which was a need on such a hot day.
The only thing to be aware of is the shower doesn't have a rim, so water will get all over the bathroom. Not as much of a problem but more of an awareness.
Exceptional stay, very good staff. When I arrived to check in, they said I was booked for 2 rooms. I only booked 1 room, as I was a solo traveler. I made the reservation on Booking.com, and Booking.com booked me in error.Recommend booking direct with the hotel.Thankfully, the manager was present and agreed to charge me ONLY for the 1 room.Note, I did not know there was air-conditioning in the room, as it was not turned on. It was extremely hot, and it was a challenge to sleep at night. That could have been taken care of , had I known of the air-conditioning.Now, speaking about a few other excellent things:1). Get the breakfast - I only ended up being able to enjoy one day, due to the tour times and needing to leave the hotel. WONDERFUL croissants, fruit, tea, Cafe, etc..2). Excellent value and walking proximity to several amazing places; including, restaurants, ATM. Aldi, etc.3). Maria and Auberlie were spectacular. Provided special request upon arrival, Tea kettle, coffee etc. Aubergine helped coordinate a delayed checkout (so I was able to attend a tour). They recommended an amazing French restaurant around the corner (stellar cuisine although, less than stellar wait staff).3).Quintessential Parisienne charm.Lastly, embrace the opportunity to really be in that area of Paris. The Virginia Hotel was such a delightful experience. I always felt as if I were returning home after long day of adventureThank you, Virginia Hotel!
Booking.com double booking and subsequently attempting to charge me for double rooms.
Liked the styling of the hotel, staff was helpful and talkative. The room was big enough, the bathroom was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Its location is good, inside of and close to the Paris ring road, with two metro stations on different lines quite close. More suited for a couples holiday. The neighbourhood is quiet comparing to others in the city.
The price as a whole (with parking and breakfast) was on the expensive side, given the amenities. The breakfast was ok as quality, but it was a bit too simple and lacking variety, if you take into consideration the price. Most of the power outlets in the room weren't working.
Nice room, clean, quiet, and cool (summer time), but a long way from the center of Paris
Traditional French room.
This hotel is close to the ring so don't have to drive into Paris - but close to the metro to go into Paris.
We needed to park our car - they have a place for cars to park - their web states 35 Euro per night but because we had a larger car they charged us 50 Euro per night. However, it parked in the same spot a smaller car would have parked so felt that was an unfair charge. It took exactly the same spot - size should not have mattered.
Charming building, older, windows opened so I could enjoy cool air, bed was comfortable . Breakfast was very good, nutritious.
Creaks at night occasionally
The staff is perfect and helpfulThe room was quite big for classic Parisian style so it was a huge plus for us!
Even though the room was absolutely clean it needs to be renovated but overall it didn’t bother us so much.
Location is great! Metro station is nearby and you can easily get to all tourist attractions in 15min. Rooms were clean and cosy. The staff was also friendly and polite.
Lovely boutique hotel in a very convenient location. The staff were lovely and very helpful.Close to public transport, restaurants, cafes, shops and parks.
Friendly staff, great location and really clean with everything needed
