    • friendly staff, great location

    Cons -

    • Small things: the bathroom needed a towel rack to hang wet towels, a hook on the the back of the bathroom door to hang nightclothes, a wastepaper basket near the desk in the room- but these were small details.
    • European style shower
    • misunderstanding re:booking, thought we had two queens, not one and had to switch to an extra single room

The location was so convenient to restaurants and cafes and shops. So close to the Louvre and The Seine. We loved the old world charm of the hotel. It had a patio that would have been beautiful to use However our stay was rainy and cool. Loved it!

Great location and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The bathroom was too small. Their wasn't enough room to shower without getting the entire bathroom wet.

The hotel is in a great location of Paris. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The room was very small BUT that is expected in Paris for this type of hotel. It just meant we spent more hours discovering Paris.

Great location. easy walk to many attractions and great restaurants. close to metro too. lovely patio with wine and beer available.

Rooms were tiny. not much room to unpack. Could barely move in the bathroom. I was overcharged and still have not gotten my refund.

Location is terrific. Lots of small bars/rest. nearby. A short walk to the Seine. The hotel is as advertised. Overall very pleasant.

    Everything was as expected.

The size of the bathroom. The shower was minuscule

Location was super central. We loved it! It was easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go and was easy enough to get back to for afternoon naps. The breakfast was fantastic – especially the garden out back, which was such a gem.

    10BarbaraPosted on: 11-29-2025

Charming in a great location. I was upgraded to a huge room for no particular reason. It was refreshing to be in a room where I could spread out.

    I loved everything.

Charming property, fabulous location. Loved the staff, the breakfast and the fluffy towels!

Nothing, really, but the bathroom could have been larger in order to be more functional. I kept knocking the hairdryer off the wall trying to reach things.

    Beds greatBreakfast excellent

    Room very small

    8WendyPosted on: 11-1-2025

Cute, European, centrally located to many of the normal tourists attractions.

I forgot how small many of the buildings are- rooms quite small along with the bathrooms.

    9EdmundPosted on: 10-14-2025

Old world comfort and quality staff.

I found it slightly difficult to shave because the light was behind me.

    5JonelPosted on: 10-14-2025

The room was so small you couldn't even open the door to the bathroom without it hitting the bed. The toilet had no legroom at alll you had to sit sideways. The room that we finally ended up in was very nice but we had to pay 500 more euros. The breakfast was nice, the location is great! The staff was friendly but I wouldn't stay there again as it was the place is way too expensive for whtat you get.

When I made the booking on "booking.com" I realized that I had picked the nonrefundable room rate. I immediately called "booking.com" they said to call the hotel directly and that they would probably work with me. I was willing to pay more for the chance of having to cancel. They refused and that's how I ended up there. They were not even willing to give us a discounted rate for the bigger hotel room we ended up with.

Excellent location, hotel has bags of character and all the facilities you need for your stay.

Rooms are small but that’s typically hotels in Paris.

    10MichellePosted on: 8-29-2025

This hotel is so cute with a great garden area.

Shower a little small but it was a small hotel.
