Hotel Des Champs-Elysees

Location was excellent.

The room was old and smelled of mold. The front desk clerk on the morning shift seemed dishonest and uninterested in giving us any information.

Good location, welcoming staff, lovely bathroom, comfy bed.

Little noisy on Saturday night, hard to tell if it was a one off or due to clubs kicking out nearby. Not end of world.

The staff were unfriendly, did not smile, and behaved unprofessionally from the start.We checked into a twin-bed room and found the bathroom sink tap completely broken. The reception suggested unacceptable alternatives instead of fixing the issue. We were then given a second room temporarily, with a promise to repair the sink and inform us.The next day, with no update, we went out on our last day in Paris. While we were out, the hotel entered the room without permission and called us threatening extra charges unless we returned immediately. This was due to their own staff’s mistake.Poor communication, lack of basic facilities, and a clear breach of privacy. Not recommended.

Our room was compact but adequate, the bathroom up to date, the bed very comfortable, WiFi very good, breakfast fine,

The lift is tiny, typical for a Parisian hotel, but there is a lift.

Staff were friendly and location was perfect. Room was also very clean

Everything went fine and the in the charge there Gilbert was kind to allow me to extend my stay for 2 more nights, without reservation.

The location and the very helpful staff

Disappointed about the location of the room, opening to an inner courtyard with a view of and smell from the exhaust stack from the kitchen and a constant humming noise from the motors, happy with the location of the hotel itself, just not of the position of the room! They didn’t say that in the ad! Should tell customers - view to noisy courtyard and no outward view to the world at all!

Beautiful and clean. Great location with a reasonable size room for 2 people for a night. Will definitely be back.
