    Pros +

    • As a solo traveler, convenience is essential - Being right near the Nation metro stop made it easy to venture out to different parts of Paris. The staff was also incredible and gave some of the best food recommendations I've gotten!
    • Terrace and location
    • I like the location of the hostel and how it is near bus stops and Metro. There is also a supermarket beside the hostel. There's pharmacy and atm nearby.

    Cons -

    • Communal bathroom: terrible smell because it is never aired, in 2 of the 4 sinks usually that stands the water, the floor is always completely wet and full of hair et cetera, the cleaning is once late in the morning as I could make out and then in the early afternoon it’s already dirty, the showers are not tight, very unpleasant to have to wash there, and the toilets in the same room.
    • There is no common area to stay or work for the guests. The only available space is on the 6th floor and its not accessible 24 hrs. There are some guests who were forced to use the corridor to eat snacks or do some simple work on a laptop. The shower cubicle is too small.
    • It’s was very dirty in the bathrooms and not so clean in general. The rooms and the bathrooms were extremely closely, especially for a tall person.

The property is fine. I was on the top bunk which was pleasant and comfy. Although the ladder was so unbelievably squeaky. I liked that the showers had a tiny area before you stepped into it where you could leave your stuff / get changed.

When I arrived, the receptionist was lovely but let me know that the 4 bed female dorm I had booked wasn’t available (I had booked a 6 dorm but I was like okay?). She said that I had been moved to a 6 dorm female room instead. However, when I got up there there was a man in there. I thought maybe the room was mixed, but when I came back from my shower, I realised I had been placed in an all male dorm as a solo female traveller? I’m not entirely sure what would warrant them to do this or why they thought this would be a good idea. I literally only needed the stay to sleep before I went out early in the morning and I had arrived past 21.30 anyway. But for future bookings, they really should consider that this isn’t acceptable at all. Especially for a SOLO female traveller. I just think of maybe some other people’s circumstances that would make them unable to spend the night due to this. And simply, if you can’t uphold somebody’s request or what they’ve booked, then contact them before their stay and maybe alternate arrangements can be made. Very silly on their behalf. I had also paid for a towel which wasn’t noted at reception so I was like, well I’m not paying for it again? The bathroom/ shower situation was fine. The only thing that isn’t great is the doors on the showers don’t meet at the bottom, so all the water spills out onto the floor. It was literally a mini pool situation getting out of the shower.

Staff very friendly, english speakers. They even helped me to fix my booking reservation after i made a huge mistake by choosing the wrong month initially. Everything was better than expected!

Friendly staff and great location. Very close to metro

Cleanliness of the room. Didn’t see regular cleaners

On arrival receptionist informed me there was no on site bicycle storage, however after I failed to find anywhere secure nearby he relented and allowed me to keep it in their waste collection room. Very very much appreciated. Neat 4 bed dormitory with huge storage cupboard beneath beds: around 0.5m tall by 1m wide by the width of the bed. Very good buffet continental breakfast.

The lack of designated bicycle storage. However that was more due to my failure to research the facilities beforehand, and as I said, the receptionist very graciously accommodated my bike.

Beds were very comfortable and had big lockers underneath to store personal belongings (you need to bring your own key lock). Many bathrooms available with showers. The position was good to visit Paris, not too central if you're looking for that, but near multiple metro lines, it was very easy to reach central Paris and Gare de Lyon is two metro stops away. The neighborhood felt very safe also at night.

The bedrooms are extremely small, there was barely any space for people to move. The cafe on the rooftop has a nice view but the prices are very high, for breakfast the boulangerie next door is cheaper and good quality (there's a few boulangeries nearby). Staff could have been nicer. If you arrive before check in or want to leave your bags after you check out there are lockers available on the top floor but you have to pay! It should be free for guests of the hostel.

    The push button showers.

Overall, the place is very clean and well maintained, and the staff are genuinely helpful. The location is convenient, just a few minutes’ walk from the Nation metro station, with restaurants, bakeries, and a supermarket close by.I especially liked the bed design with curtains, which gives you real privacy even in a shared room. The bar on the top floor is cozy and a nice place to relax or work, with stable WiFi.

One small downside is that some of the shower glass doors are a bit tricky to open, but aside from that, it was a really pleasant stay and I’d happily recommend it.

Bonjoue??‍♀️… I really enjoyed my stay here! The only thing I’d suggest changing is the lounge area — it’s mixed with the restaurant, which makes it a bit hard to relax comfortably. Other than that, it’s a beautiful place with an amazing view! FYI- ALL THE STAFF WERE WONDEFUlly sweet!!! ??❤️

I liked the location and the bathrooms. Bathroom is spacious with great lighting and showers.

I usually would not make comments about a property unless I needed to. I arrived and was greeted, but I felt like staff was distracted and gave impression like I was interrupting them. The food wasn’t great, and I felt like there’s not many options to socialise or meet people. There was a guy in the all girls bathroom, and another staff member who was cleaning the toilets shouted at me for going to the bathroom while she was cleaning, I also got locked out of my room and I asked the same staff member in the bathroom if she could open my door and she rolled her eyes at me. Other staff cleaning the bedrooms were quite loud. There was only one staff member who was really helpful. I feel like there should be more engagement especially for the location and solo traveling, bedrooms were great overall

The location is absolutely perfect, close to a metro hub, Burger King, and a grocery store. The staff have been great as well, willing to support.

There was no hot water for 4 out of 7 days. Imagine, it's winter, and you need to shower with cold water. First, we thought it was consumed, but it appeared it was randomly unavailable. One night, the staff provided us with another room to shower, but I can't do that every night.

The reception staffs are froendly and welcoming, the rooms are quite and condusive.

The toilet has no handheld triggered nozzle for personal hygiene in the toilet. Tissue paper isnt hygienic for use in the toilet.

Great view, good roof-top and bar. Good facilities

Bathrooms can be small, bit messy depending on the day. Really guest dependent though and not reflection of management

The Hostel ist Not in City Centre but the are a Metro station near the hostel. The showers was not too much bigger that what I had seen it at the picture. The staff are very friendly and very nice.

The bed was bigger but no more pleace to but your completely bags . The WC was not too much clean.

The bed is clean and comfortable

Two of the five nights I stayed there, there was no hot water. Unacceptable

Upon arrival, I noticed that one of my roommate was eating smelly food in the room, which was clearly against the rule of stay. I reported this issue immediately to the reception, and they kindly re-allocated me to another room in timely manner. The room was clean and the hostel is quite well connected.
