- I can not say enough about the wonderful staff! They made me feel welcome before I even stepped into the lobby. I felt very comfortable and enjoyed my stat very much. I honestly wish I had booked more nights here!
- What I liked best out the hotel was the hospitality, and the location. Everything is literally there since its a centralized location, even moving around on the train. Hotel employee and the staff was above and beyond with services, I would definitely come back!
- Beautiful hotel
Cons -
- Only suggestion is to add a sheer curtain under the blackout curtains so guests can enjoy extra privacy and still get sunlight inti the room.
- There was nothing. Everything as perfect
- Area was not as I expected, I felt unsafe at times.

Beautiful hotel
Area was not as I expected, I felt unsafe at times.
Good price for a last minute booking.
Very small room, limited breakfast options and even though the hotel itself is nicely decorated, it’s not in a nice neighbourhood. Even the downstairs terrace showed on the pictures, wasn’t there in real life.
room 503 is the best of this hotel, but you hear absolutely everything from the walls. you can hear people snore and it is just unconfortable. the balcony is great, room is great.
balcony and bathroom
Hotel had nice decor.
The location of this hotel really lets it down which is such a shame. We came to Paris to sightsee for a few days. The area around the metro is unsafe, we saw drug dealing in plain sight and two fights in the short time we were there. We decided to move to a different hotel for the second night as we did not think it relaxing to come back late at night nor was it comfortable to relax in the small bedroom with no view. Instead we booked a hotel near the arc de triomphe for a similar price which gave us a much better experience of Paris. Such a shame as the hotel has a boutique vibe but it’s just not an area where you would want to stay if you are on holiday in Paris. Our room was very small with no view.
Having been to Paris many many many times, I wanted to try something new. Th location of this place is close to a train station. However, the area feels kinda scary and unsafe. It is filled with poverty, side hustle people and more. Location - would not recommend
From the service, to the overall feel of the hotel could have been better. I hotel quite a lot throughout the year. This was by far the worst experience I have received.
The staff were very friendly. The room and main area were clean and decorated nicely. Close to centre of Montmarte. Close to metro station.
Very close to metro station which in a way was nice, but there were lots of activity from the individuals selling illegal cigarettes around the metro station. Often had individuals hanging around outside. However the staff were conscious of it and kept the auto door locked at night time.
Clean and nicely appointed decore. Bed was comfortable, bathroom and towels very nice!
Small room, was very tight with out luggage.
The vibe
The room was small and there was no refrigerator, the view of the room was really bad. The neighborhood was really bad. We saw two three bugs inside the room.
Nothing .. very bad hotel and bad location
Location near train station where is all homeless and drugs . Bad AC . No safe box . Rooms open with old metal keys This is a two star hotel not four star and does not worth this amount of money
It was clean and nice decor
Room was not how it looked in the picture. Terrace had massive pipes which you would be staring at and in an alley that was very dirty and had everyone’s clothes hanging above so we didn’t use it. Floor space is so small we couldn’t fully open our luggage on the floor. I asked to change rooms or ask to pay a bit more to upgrade but they couldn’t accommodate.
Close to metro, charming sitting area downstairs
The street itself is shabby. Rather distant staff, busy with phone or not very knowledgeable, not passionate about their job. Small room and bed of 140cm width. I stayed in Paris 5 to 6 times in the last 2 years, always in this pricerange and it’s the one I preferred least…
We got a free upgrade. The rooms are on the smaller side but absolutely fine. Nice bathroom
All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. There was a slight problem with the room when I checked in, but this was quickly resolved. The rooms are small but very clean and well appointed, with modern furniture and decorations, and very comfortable beds - I slept in two and they were both as good as each other. The bathrooms are also small but there is everything you need. Breakfast is a buffet but this is normal now in most hotels - plenty of pastries, cereals, hot food etc - and very good quality. It's close to Gard du Nord so convenient if you are coming by Eurostar - about 9 euros by taxi, and also close to a metro station to get you to all the tourist attractions of Paris.
The area (next to the Barbès-Rochechouart metro station) is not the best, but we two women out alone didn't encounter any trouble. The streets are dirty and crowded, but this isn't the fault of the hotel. Just a warning that if that bothers you, it may be best to stay somewhere else. However it is in easy walking distance of Sacre-Cœur and lots of nice restaurants and cafés around there.
Everything was perfect, staff were super kind and helpful, we greatly enjoyed our stay .The hotel was very good located, 2 minutes walk from metro, so easy access, room was so clean and beautiful.
The friendly welcome in the late evening. The homely atmosphere! The very pleasant service and good conversations with the staff. The continental breakfast was great! I would recommend Mansion Barbes, because it is so close to MontMatre.
Nothing!!
The ladies at the front desk were so amazing their English was amazing, even the manager who was from Quebec helped us navigate the tourist places in France
Really lovely location and everything was really well maintained and clean! The staff was also very friendly!
Everything – except the hotels location – was amazing. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
The hotels location – exceptionnally the Barbès-Rochechouart metro station – is quite scary, as soon as you walk up from the underground station – which is only a few steps away from the hotel – you're going get harassed by strange looking locals. Not the safest choice in Paris, that's for sure.
