Hotel Phileas Lazare & Spa -Opera

Convenient location, easy access to Gare St Lazare and various shopping malls. Lots of diverse food options around.

Room is tiny. Some staff is warm and welcoming, some not so much. The breakfast buffet is not complimentary. No one communicaited it with us and we were hit by a surprise bill upon checking out.

Great staff, quiet, great location. I liked the little touches like cakes available for everyone all day.

No real complaints, carpet could be updated.

Altogether, location, staff and rooms were excellent and well worth the stay.

The shower stall smelled like sewer. The hotel tried unsuccessfully to fix the issue. They offered another room right away but the replacement room was too small so we passed in it. Otherwise everything else was excellent

Awesome hotel to stay at! The lady that checked us in was so kind to us the whole time and made reccomendations. She also gave me a little bit of their hotel¿s tea which was delicious. Highly recommend it for Paris! Location is central too.

Noisy, more than one person came up to me at breakfast requesting I advise them of my room number. It felt uncomfortable.

The room was well equipped. I really enjoyed the amenities and the front desk staff were all really friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the metro and a 15 min walk to the Galaries Lafayette area.

The AC in our friend¿s room didn¿t work. They were told to open the window. There were people smoking outside, which can¿t be controlled but I wish they were offered another room or a follow up.

Nice hotel in a great location with very convenient access to the metro/train station. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Relatively spacious room with double bed with standard amenities.

Definitely not a 4-star hotel; more like a 3-star. Room climate control system did not allow for constant fan setting and couldn't set room temperature below a certain level, which made it a bit stuffy for sleeping.

The warm and friendly staff

There was no bathroom counter , just a freestanding sink. This is a problem. I don¿t really like having to use the toilet lid for laying things on. But the entire room and bathroom were very clean.

Exceptional staff and very handy location make this an incredibly good value hotel. Free coffee and cake time also helps! Drinks also very reasonably priced for Paris.

TV didn't work and was never fixed so one point off.
