    Pros +

    • The location is perfect, within walking distance to almost all major sights, in a gorgeous old building, which is so easily recognizable in the photos of Paris. The layout of the room I was staying in was nice: it felt spacious, with the kitchenette included, with the large mirror above the used-to-be fireplace. It was also very warm (important for the winter season). The WiFi worked very well.
    • Location can not be better. Situated very close to few subways, to my favorite bakery Ernest & Valentin. Light studio with high ceiling.
    • The location is great, close to a lot of shops, restaurants, pharmacies, etc. The bedroom was very clean and nice, the bed was comfortable, the small kitchen had a nesspresso machine.

    Cons -

    • 1) Housekeeper beating on my door with an owner or manager - and then they had nothing to say. 2) followed by the housekeeper opening my door on her own and leaving it ajar - again with no word
    • There were multiple issues when I checked in: the smell, the leaking tap in the kitchen, the bedding didn’t feel fresh. Some issues were solved very quickly. The resolution of some really required time and multiple calls to the support. But I need to say I was quite impressed that the leaking tap was replaced during my short stay. Also, the instructions were not provided for the facilities, e.g. the instruction for the safe didn’t get to me after multiple asks, even the supervisor on the premises wasn’t able to help to set it up. Though the layout was really great because of its spacious feeling, it had its drawbacks in my opinion: there was a small step between the entrance and bedroom area, that I needed to get used to, especially because when you go to sleep you need to switch off the light near the entrance door and then make your way to the bed in the darkness. The desk/table area is tiny (which is understandable) but you need to squeeze yourself to manage to sit on the chair next to it.
    • Bed had very sharp metal edges, I was hitting my legs many times, as studio is very small. Poor sound isolation. Sink was clogged.

I asked for the codes to enter the building when my plane landed and had to insist several times to receive them. I asked again and again in the taxi on my way to the place, and finally the taxi left me and I had to wait outside in the street until they finally sent them. They added an unnecessary stress to my arrival.

Location is fantastic! No key is necessary which is easy for check in and out. OK space for big suitcase. Comfortable bed even though it is built-in.

No towel change service until the 5th day. Cutleries and pans are dirty. Door hinges fell off in the middle of stay. Variation of facility is good but quality is poor. Room is not decorated like in photo.

    I'd never stey here again

This is a very basic apartment, tiny and with no facilities

Staff were thoughtful and checked in a few times asking if I needed anything or new towels or sheets. The location is great - a few minutes to the metro and easy to walk places from the apartment. I loved the beautiful windows that opened up into the courtyard (not a particularly beautiful view or anything but it was nice and quiet and I enjoyed that you could see some of the sky and outdoors). The apartment is small but efficiently decorated, there's a ceiling fan for some air floor. Comfy bed. Cute old building. Felt very safe there. Many restaurants nearby. Mini fridge in the room which I was really happy to have. Overall a fantastic experience!

    Nothing I didn't like!

When I was living in Paris, I debated a lot about whether I really had to stay at a hotel that only had bad reviews and clearly wasn’t worth the price. And in the end… it was exactly what I feared.Location? Well, since we were going to use a weekly or daily metro pass, and you can’t walk everywhere anyway, the location didn’t feel particularly appealing. We left the hotel in the morning and returned in the evening, so we only stopped by the nearby department store for about two hours total. After the stores close, the area becomes deserted and could even feel a bit unsafe. The room was unbelievably small. Why is this considered a double room just because they squeezed in a double bed? Even though it was just me and my husband with only two backpacks—no suitcases—there wasn’t enough space to open our bags. We had to pile our clothes on top of each other. The kitchenette? Way too cramped to use for anything. And the coffee machine was broken. They charged a €20 cleaning fee, but in four days, they never emptied the trash or gave us fresh towels. There’s no reception desk, so there’s no one to talk to either. If you end up staying here and throw away food in that oversized trash bin, you’ll be stuck with that smell your entire stay.Breakfast? They definitely charged for it, but then handed us six boxes of breakfast items all at once—for three days. It felt more like a detention center than a hotel. For better food and transportation options, I highly recommend staying in the Marais or Latin Quarter instead. And don’t forget—you have to pay the city tax in cash, so make sure to bring some.

The location was good for me as it was close to what I had to do.It was very clean

I had some difficulty understanding the various codes necessary for entering the property. The first time took me a long time. That’s the problem when we don’t have any staff onsite.

The location was amazing and the rooms themselves were pretty spacious compared to what we were expecting for Paris center. Amazing value for money!!

Slight noises were heard throughout the night but nothing major that woke us up (we heard it before falling asleep).

    Location was good

The wifi was very poor and horrible. No one to answer the call and i would definitely NOT recommend this hotel for anyone

    It was an excellent location

Whilst the property had everything ‘practically’ advertised, there was no way it was suitable for 4 people / 2 couples. In some regards we were very lucky that the other couple were unable to travel due to Eurostar cancellations with the WW2 bomb. The location was excellent; however, there were x4 sets of door codes to access the property. The lift really only fits 1 person + luggage so lots of individual journeys if you can’t manage the steep stairs. The entrance way and communal space downstairs is very impressive. The one window was authentic. Kitchen space pretty inadequate in an alcove in one of the bedrooms

in the main entrance not lightening

Great location (central Paris), near many restaurants.Clean room.

    1. The entrance doors do not always open when you key in the code - it requires several attempts (slow key-in, fast key-in, try all)2. Renovation work is being done at the entrance so the floor is covered with plastic making it very dangerous to walk on - especially when you come in from the rain3. Badly lit ground floor with two small steps that are covered with plastic. As a result, missed a step and fell sprawling down on the floor4. In all the instructions helpfully provided by the property, the lift was not mentioned (it is there but it is carefully hidden in a corner). So, I climbed three floors with my luggage.5. There is no lighting on the staircase as you climb it (except on Floor 1). So I had to climb with bags and with my mobile torch. VERY VERY dangerous climb6. Instructions explicitly state that the wifi has no password but the wifi DOES need a password. As a result, I had to make an international call to the help desk and ask the password (which was quickly provided).7. Be prepared for the constant hum of trains in the room.8. The chairs in the room are not suitable for working - high chairs with very small back support9. None of the TV channels are in English.ONLY FOR YOUNG, FRENCH GUESTS

The location and the cleanliness of the apartment.

The bunkbed was very noisy (squeaky) and instable. The curtains could not be closed. Is a third floor apartment (as was mentioned) but the elevator did not function.

    5LisaPosted on: 10-23-2024

Location and facilities in the room.

There was no working lift (advertised there was a lift) i had to carry my suitcase up 3 floors and I was sick with a chest infection. The room was so small I couldn't open my suitcase properly, when I did get it open you could not use the kitchen.

No, nothing is satisfied. It's terrible journey to me.

Very bad journey. We arrive there at about 6pm. There's no service but only electrical lock for the door. When we enter into the room, we found the toilet, the sink and the shower are all clogged. The drain was clogged. We tried to communicated with service online, they reply very late. They told me they can't fixed the drain that day. If so, we can't live at this room. I believe we can't go out for toilet at night, it is terrible. We want to check out, but they refused. They said I have already paid and they can't refund. It is not reasonable. I feel very very bad. I left the hotel without use anything the same day. I didn't got refund.

The location, the building, the decor.

The lighting was a bit intense and a few more electrical sockets would have been nice.
