- The rooms are not large, but the location is great and the staff is friendly. The optional breakfast is fantastic, with all sorts of choices and some of the best bread in Paris.
- Great location. Safe and very walkable to main areas. Staff was super friendly. Double bed room was snug but didn’t feel cramped. Room and bathroom was very clean. Bed is extra firm but great for a back sleeper. Had an elevator which many Airbnbs do not.
- Our room was nicely lit by the large windows overlooking the tree tops… great bakery next door, and lots of local drinking/ dining options close by.
Cons -
- Small bedroom.
- Everything seemed like it was very old. No maintenance, no renovations. The room was also very very small.
- The crew ignor from group of punks that were drink and do alot of noise till 4.5 am, moreover they didn't even answer the phone at the lobby and one night became a nightmare.

Staffed 24 hr/7. Allow suitcase storage. Very helpful staff. Rooms are very small but clean, quiet, and excellent bathroom with great shower.

The location

The hotel was nice, and fair value for the price. The room are smaall but perfect for couple that just want clean and comfortable place to sleep and take shower.

Our taxi from the airport took us directly to the hotel situated on a quiet street off the main road from Place de la Replublique where there was a variety of places to eat in the evening.A lift took us up to the 5th floor where our 3 bedded room was located, the bed linen was spotless and the quilts warm. The bathroom was adequate for our needs although a shower enclosure would have been much more useful. The daytime staff at reception were polite, smart and friendly.
On arrival we were directed to our room by a staff member who appeared to have slept in his shirt which was not the best first impression of the hotel. The lift was very small and if you were carrying bulky cases difficult to use.The stairs were spiral and again very difficult to use when carrying lugguage and not well lit in places. The room was clean but attention needs to be paid to details such as a broken lamp and insufficient space between beds.We asked for a 3 single beds and these were so close that there was no space to walk between them. The bathroom was clean and well supplied but unsuitable for anyone with even slight mobility issues as the there is no walk-in shower and the bath sides too high to step into the bath. The bath itself was quite narrow and with no grab rail to hold onto which could be a risk to older and less mobile guests. As the local bars emptied the noise from the street was incredibly loud and raucous.
We stayed in room 405. It was incredibly hard to open the door. The room was small for what we paid for 3 nights. We appreciated there were charging outlets by bedside. Wifi worked on my laptop but kept showing "no internet connection" on my phone. Bathroom was small too. Tub is very deep and it can be dangerous for children or geriatric adults to get in and out. There was a small mini fridge and a pot to boil tea. Safe area to walk around at night. It's about 25 min walk to the Lourve. Many good restaurants nearby. There's also a bakery right next door that opens at 6am which is earlier than others around. We would stay here again.
Wifi did not work well on my phone but worked fine on my laptop. Wish there were more options of English TV channels.
Great location abd very quiet part of Le Marais.
Single bed. Prefer a double.
The staff was nice and kind.
The toilet was 'loose' and if you sat it would make tons of noise. The pillow smelled...used? Like sweat.
This is probably the best you could do for this price range in Paris center. Don't expect Hayat level comfort, this is a smaller hotel with basic amenities and facilities. However, it is absolutely fine and enough to get by. It's very conveniently located, right by "Republique" subway station. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores around, absolutely no problem with that. The area is clean and safe (which is very important for Paris). I walked around the neighborhood at late evening and nights, and it was perfectly fine. Rare thing in Paris. You can walk to the city center, Seine river, Picasso museum is just 5 min walk away, Pompidou Center is around 15 to 20 min walk. For longer trips subway is fine (couple of stations around). It's not the very precise center to be exact, but you can walk (or ride subway) to anywhere you want. I enjoy walking the city, so 15 to 25 min to Seine, and around 40 min to Musee D'Orsay is a pleasant walk to me. Hotel has all basic amenities, everything you need is in the room. Pretty decent for the price range. The staff is nice and welcoming! The biggest advantage of this place is its location: it's in a close proximity to city center, all museums and galleries, the Seine River, etc.
The facilities are on the older side, I guess due to the fact that the hotel is located in the old building. It's perfectly fine, but if you are used to Hilton level comfort, this is not a place for you. The hotel feels very basic: it lacks 'shiny brand new' facilities, but has everything you might need during your stay. Housekeeping probably needs to ramp up their efforts for room cleaning, but that's my personal preference, the place was 'mmm, ok' level clean for me. I would say that it's a good catch for this price range, all other places are much higher in price.
The bathroom was very nice. The room had a good layout. The view into the courtyard was serene and pleasant to enjoy.
There was a strong bleach smell when we first entered the room. That disappated after we had the window open for a while.
Perfect location to explore Paris and friendly staff
Room had a weird smell which probably was from some cleaning agent used by the staff and shower struggled to get warm
It's a great location. The hotel is close to the centre and in the lovely Le Marais area, which is full of small and interesting shops at a wide range of prices, excellent specialty coffee shops and cocktail bars as well as restaurants and terasse cafes.
Location and staff
Very old and outdated hotel. Towels old grey and frayed all along the edges. Bed was uncomfortable. Safety deposit box keyless lock did not work.
The location was great, and having an air con unit was helpful.
The toilet water was seeping out the bottom which was incredibly unhygienic. The room was very small and uncomfortable for a couple. The doors and walls were also paper thin so you could hear everything between the walls or people in the corridor.
The reception from the staff and location were very good. I found the reception folks to be very helpful with me being an English speaking person. It was good value for money.
Great location for exploring Le Marais disrtict of Paris. Very friendly and helpful staff. No problem arriving back late after visiting local restaurants or bars.
Room was a bit small for two but with coordination it worked!
