Grand Hotel Saint Michel

Great location. Excellent service. Squeaky clean room.

Bathroom privacy shade during dark hours was suspect. I would like a partition in the shower area to keep the bathroom floor a bit drier and make the bathroom usable by another person while the shower is in use.

The hotel location is great, 1 blk from Luxembourg Gardens, near metro and easy walk to the Seine & St. Germaine des Pres neighborhood. My bed was really comfortable and the towels were thick and fluffy. The afternoon espresso bar was very nice.

I was on 2nd floor on the street and it was noisy late at night (students?)and early in the morning (trash pickup). I wish room had an electric kettle for tea/coffee.

Very clean, friendly staff, hammam was great, excellent location, felt safe.

SUPER minor things: Sheets were a tiny bit scratchy, and my nespresso wasn¿t working in the room

It's a small thing but the bottom sheet wasn't elasticized so was always bunched up. Also...room was so Small there was nowhere to open luggage except for the bed.

Tiny hotel rooms, a little far away from restaurants, attractions and nightlife.

I believe that one of the reasons I chose this hotel was because breakfast was included. However I had to pay an extra $100 when I checked out. I was extremely disappointed

We enjoyed the tea time in the afternoon, the coffee machine in the room and the convenient location.

Location was great, right near the Sarbonnr and a short walk to the Notre Dame. Staff was friendly and responsive, the room was neat and tidy and had everything we needed. Had a very pleasant stay.

I came from Washington,DC the hotel had an amazing decor with Christmas decorations which were very beautiful.

The property was located in the heart of all the attractions grocery market and food stores in walking distance and minutes away from attractions bus and subway line. It was easy access

So prior to making a reservation I checked the reviews and the actual rooms that they had available. Mind you I did this 6 months in advance, I get to the hotel at night (check the pictures) and found a wet and moist smell in the room, the carpet has lost color everywhere, has stairs that for my mother that is close to 60 years old and 7 year old nephew can be dangerous. The hotel inside the room looks old and the actual bathroom had a lot of areas damaged and the room has stairs mind you none of this is pictured or said on the reservation. I brought my concerns to the concierge due to bringing an 7 year old and the only thing he said was “you paid for that room, no other option I can do” didn’t offer any options or understand the position that we are in. I had to book a hotel on my last night since we couldn’t deal with the room anymore, they never checked up on us or helped us, but when it came time to pay the taxes they had machine ready and no questions. so I payed 2 times the amount for a night for no reason. This shouldn’t be a 4 star hotel, I’ve stayed in 2 stars that are better than this, also better service and not giving us attitude from the beginning. Worst hotel experience especially since we payed 300 dollars a night. Please don’t stay here look at pictures, they also left water in the coffee machine for who knows how long the water has been in there. I have more pictures of it but I’m unable to load more
