26 Faubourg - Ex-Hotel de Reims

Location & the breakfast. Daytime reception person was very helpful also.

Neighborhood at night was dodgy with homeless, drunks and street smelled of urine. During the day it was OK tho but kinda stinky.

Very close to Gare de Lyon. Lively area with cafes, bars and restaurants. If it had been summer there would have been some attractive green outdoor space just nearby.

No kettle.

Shocking bed (very soft and squeaky), bathroom door hit bed so could not open fully, bathroom shower mouldy, empty shower gel bottle, floor was dirty upon our arrival

Location, comfort, price.

Vegans are not really catered for, but a member of staff did go out and get me some vegan milk, which was very appreciated. The room was super comfy and clean

I would have liked more vegan options for breakfast.I was surprised to be charged a surcharge per dog on my arrival. I thought I had paid the entire cost of my stay beforehand.

Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices. A good location within walking distance of the Gare de Lyon, and easy to catch the Metro. Clean, warm rooms.

The bathroom and shower were tiny. The bedroom was small, but fine for three days.

The room was very clean, location of the hotel was fairly easy to find provide the phone is working. The breakfast staff was patient and kept it all simple and clean.

Would have liked a proper cup and a tea bag in the room on arrival.

The location was perfect - walking distance from restaurants for an evening meal and near to Gare de Lyon for an early train in the morning. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms warm and very clean, and the receptionist welcoming and helpful. It was nice to have a coffee machine in the room.

Very noisy, I couldn’t really sleep late in the morning. Also the bathroom was a bit smelly. But overall for the money it was good.

Good decor, newly refurbished well arranged room. Good location close to Gare de Lyon. Friendly staff.

The person at reception was excellent, very kind and friendly. Even the cleaner we met on arrival was very pleasant. We had room no 2 downstairs off reception which is set up for I think wheelchair or similar, it was perfect for my mum of 86 as no stairs, shower was nice and big and actually the whole room was plenty big enough, it was nice and cosy and the bed super comfy, sadly we only had a one night stay but would come back again. We didn’t try the breakfast, we enjoyed a walk out for coffee and pastry down the road. The neighbourhood is interesting and worth a look, 7 min walk from gare de Lyon. Great walking track on old railway line very close by which I have done on a previous visit.

The bed was comfortable. The bathroom clean and new but tiny. For one night’s stay it was fine. Close to the Gare de Lyon and metros.

In spite of the name of the hotel, the 26 Faubourg-ex-hotel de Reims the hotel is on Rue de Hector Malot. What should have been a 12 minute walk from the metro ended up taking me almost an hour to find. When I called the hotel to verify the address several times there was no answer. When I did finally get someone on the phone her accent (not French) was so thick I had a very hard time understanding her. As for the room - the sink was the tiniest I have ever seen. I splashed water everywhere including on me and my clothes. The last problem was the lack of soundproofing. At 1 in the morning someone in the room above was dragging furniture around and woke me out of a deep sleep. Anyone in the hall was also very loud as if they were in my room.

Very close to Gare de Lyon, small but nice room, clean, very cozy and warm (and has coffee!)

Shower needs a little maintenance, but everything else really good for the price paid

Staff were super friendly and the room was kept impeccably clean. Beds were firm and room comfortable.

The location is excellent near Metro and train station. Silent esp. nightimes despite being in the center of Paris.

Location is good few minutes walk from gare de lyon with a lot of resturants, caffes and shops near by!!!..-the reception staff was very nice and welcoming!!..

-The room was cold!!...and there was no remote control for the AC to turn it on!!...
