Hotel Opera Maintenon

First, the staff was amazing! They were friendly and helpful. My room was cleaned and refreshed every day. The location was perfect. I walked everywhere I went, and this saved me big money on transportation. I think the room was worth what I paid+!

The steps from the first floor to the second floor for the elevator Were very difficult to navigate with a suitcase.

Breakfast reasonable price

No contained water to drink or boil with a kettle.

The water from the shower leaked. There was no bottles of water in the room at all, even for money. Everything else was good

Great location, comfortable rooms, & lovely staff! We loved the little breakfast they put on. And they kindly held our luggage and sorted a cab for us back to the airport. Will stay here again!

Honestly nothing of note

The location is excellent, the staff are mostly very helpful.

The solo room on the first floor was not really fit for purpose due to it being next to the water heater which was incredibly loud all night. However, I was able to move rooms relatively easy on the second day.

The location is really excellent for exploring the city

The optional breakfast was very limited. There ia currently construction from 9am on the facade of the building.

We were welcomed and was early we was able to leave our luggage in a storage room staff were so lovely too

Staff, cleaning every day, location

There's a problem with hot water. We tried leaving the tap running for 20 minutes, but the water was cool. Also, because the heating is only provided by the air conditioner, the air became very dry. These two issues probably make it more comfortable here in the summer.

Moldy bathrooms with visible mildew and mold on shower/bathroom walls. My whole family got sick as we are sensitive to mold.

In the beginning we asked for extra pillows and the night receptionist said they don't have any more. Then we got in to take a shower and the water was freezing. We called the reception again, and he said that he is aware of the problem, but since it was 21:30 he cannot do anything about it, because the manager will come back for work in the morning. After complaining that this is unacceptable and we have been traveling all day so we have to wash ourselves, he said again that he can't do anything, but he can now give us a pillow (!). Of course they refused to give any compensation, and of course the manager never showed up to at least apologize. Worst experience ever. Also I have to warn you that the room we stayed in was... not straight. I can't really explain this, but the floor was sinking. Walking towards the window was like walking uphill. We felt so dizzy inside that we had to lie down to not feel the curve! Above all, we had dirty towels but didn't even bother to say something, we just stayed for that night and couldn't wait to leave.

Lovely little Hotel in a very central location to the Louvre. The room was clean and for the money was well worth it. The breakfast was an extra 10euro per person and was a perfectly adequate start to the day. The staff were very helpful and pleasant, I was happy with our overnight stay.

The staff was wonderful, the rooms were clean and it was a 10 minute walk to the Louvre.If you're traveling with someone that has mobility challenges be sure to contact the hotel ahead of time because they only have one room that is on the main floor. Otherwise you will have to walk up a spiral staircase one flight up to the elevator.

The location is excellent. Ideal for tne Louvre, Opera, and lots of key sites.

The shower pressure was variable, and if you are not reasonably mobile, having the lift start on the 1st floor would be a problem.

Exceptional friendly and helpful staff. Bed was comfortable and great location.

it is near to the louvre and other tourist spot..it has a lot of restaurant nearby…it is very good location if your new traveller..the staff is very nice and helpful..will definitely book again in this hotel☺️☺️

Great location - walkable to the Louvre and shopping eg Galleries Lafayette. Train station is a 5-7 min walk and same with bus station. Lots of asian restaurants nearby.

You need to climb up the stairs to get to the elevator which is difficult if you have heavy luggage.

Location was central to all sites...easy and direct on one line to get to from orly airport on metroVery helpful lady at front desk with directions on map.

Disappointed with coffee at breakfast..hotel needs an espresso machineNo coffee or tea available in rooms or for 24 hr self service .
