Great location for the usual attractions. Excellent staff.

Coffee service was not cleaned or restocked near the end of our stay.

I expected a different experience, especially considering the location and the timing (week before Xmas). Staff was friendly and useful, really professional, but no personalized experience, no proposal on what to do, restaurants events and so on

Didn’t have breakfast…I thought coffee should of been free to guest.

The lobby area was very small. I thought the bathroom and room was small. There was very little storage.

The property is in a prime location, easy to access, safe.

On our first night, after a 5 minute shower, there was a flood and the water overflowed into the main room as well, drenching the carpet. We quickly called reception, and a man came up to inspect and said to speak with the manager in the morning as he’d be in at 8:30am. He gave us one towel to cover the drenched carpet. Since the room was small, we had to quite literally jump onto the bed when going from the bathroom (where the tile was also drenched in water) to the main room.We went down at 8:30am as we were told to, and the manager wasn’t there. The reception said he’d be in at noon. We changed our plans to come back at noon to resolve the issue. The manager was yet again not there. Each day, we attempted to get the reception to put us in contact with him — they told us the manager was aware of the situation and would help (yet, zero communication to this day). There were no other available rooms they could move us to, and they would not refund us for our first night. The offered a one-day free breakfast at the hotel which we refused. They sent someone to “clean the carpet & fix the shower”, but when we checked, the carpet was still damp and they had for some reason removed a tile off the wall of the bathroom as well (?).We insisted on each day of our stay to speak with the manager, but he was never in. We asked them to contact him, and they said they didn’t have his number which was quite questionable. The reception was being nice of course, but this was a very frustrating situation. Over our entire stay, we didn’t encounter this manager and didn’t get anything for our miserable first night. The reception told us “the people who stayed before you didn’t experience this” to place blame on us, but we’ve stayed in numerous hotels across the globe and never experienced this before.To be quite frank, we were extremely disappointed with the lack of communication with the manager, and that we weren’t taken care of as guests.

The family room on the 4th floor with no elevator was tricky with bags and kids.

Like the area around and near the train station. Near restaurants and shops.

Tiny elevator and tiny rooms. You can walk around the bed, to the door, and to the bathroom that all the walking area in the room. The price and value are not there.

The location was excellent

The room was small and the bathroom was so tiny you couldn’t turn around in it or stand in front of the sink unless door was open. Stairs up to fifth floor very steep.

Property is close to the Louvre, Tuileries garden and 5 min walk from the metro. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Bathroom is a nice size

Room seemed a lot smaller than the description. Not much space for large luggage. No a/c in winter, but opening windows is enough air flow to cool the room. Also elevator is very small and only fits 1 person at a time

You can't beat the location this hotel is in the middle of a great area! The room was a great value for its location. Definitely would recommend for anyone looking for a room near the Louvre.

Elevator was so small, I am only 5'6 and it felt small. This can be an issue for someone taller or who travels with a big family. Other than that the hotel was great!

The room and elevator were small. I wouldn't recommend the property to someone that travels with a lot of luggage. I didn't have a problem but I can see if it might be one.

What a treasure the Lion D'Or Louvre is! Perfectly situated to discover the delights of central Paris, and reasonably priced. The whole team at the hotel are very friendly and accommodating, ensuring that the needs of their guests are met at all times. We were leaving for Disney earlier than the time that breakfast service started and the team ensured that we had a 'picnic' breakfast that they had packed with care for us to ensure we had breakfast to start our day.The breakfast service is buffet style, continental, fresh and replenished frequently; a really good start to the day.Our room was very clean, beds made, and fresh towels provided daily, On the whole, a small but perfectly formed hotel. I would not hesitate to return or recommend to anyone.

The only downside to the room (#501) was the size of the bathroom that meant the shower door could not open fully, which made it challenging to use unless the sliding doors were open.

We stayed 7 nights. First 3 days we could get hot shower but after that water was not hot enough. So I used another rooms shower since my parents were staying in the same floor. It was good.

Location is excellent as is the staff. Breakfast was good. Appreciated that there was a lift.

Shower water was lukewarm. Would have appreciated a mirror in the bedroom.

For a 3 star hotel, in general was very good. The only thing missing was a little fridge in the room, or at least a vending machine in the lobby.

Great value for money! Staff were very friendly and helpful and went the extra mile with any requests. There is someone available 24/7 at reception. The location was perfect for our short trip! Lots of beautiful restaurants and shops are close by and most landmarks/attractions are within walking distance. For those further out, you can get the hop on/hop off bus and metros around the corner. The room was small and basic but clean and comfortable.
