Hotel Montsouris Orleans

The bedsheets, pillow cases, quilters and towels were not clean at all and appeared to have been used many times.There is no lift in the hotel, which made it very difficult to carry heavy luggage up and down.The washroom is very small, which is manageable, but the water in the shower area does not drain properly, causing water to accumulate.

The room was very cute and comfortable. We we able to do an earlier check, which was nice. We enjoyed our space and felt safe in the area. We also received clean towels for the second day. Appreciated that. Also it was very cold nights, so the airconditioning system was added value.

Every morning, the corridors became really noisy with the cleaning staff vaccuuming the corridor and walking in an out of rooms to change bed sheets. The hallway is very small and the walls apparently very thin, so we could even hear the TV´s in the next room early morning.

NOTHING GOOD. 1 star property and negative star experience.

This property has BED BUGS. Heed warnings on Google and do not book. It was so unhygienic I had to leave after 12 hours. Sheets were stained.

It's clean and good for summer because they have AC. I like that they provide kettle with a sachet of tea and ciups. Overall it was a good stay.

There is no elevator.

Small, functional room & bathroom. Perfect for a solo traveler. Close to the metro & only a handful of stops from the center of the city. Lovely, yummy bakery within 300 feet from the hotel. The neighborhood has a few shops around w/ fresh fruit & veggies; several cafes & corner stores that are open late. Quiet area at night. I slept soundly w/ an open window. V nice hotel staff, who allowed me to leave my luggage w/ them prior to my check- in time, so that I could walk around & explore w/ out my suitcase/backpack weighing me down. Loved having a good WiFi & air conditioning.

Convenient location, nice French restaurants nearby, seemed like a safe/local area. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Was a little cold in the room, had to sleep with air con on (worked poorly) and use multiple blankets. (Stayed in may)

Only the location

The room was stinky! We had to open the windows and turn on the AC to make it bearable every time we came back to the room The bathroom window had no curtains,taking a shower in the night, you have to keep the lights off. It was way smaller and older than it looks in most photos. There was no iron in the room. You had to go downstairs to borrow it from the reception. We had a bad experience and would never stay there again!

Though small, the room offered plenty of depository space, 3 different types of lights, a hair dryer, a safe and other useful things. The room cleaning was well done. I particularly liked the interior terrace, the one between the two buildings. The receptionist was understanding and helped with our requests.

Service is good and rooms are clean. The location is nice(nearby metro station)

Room size so small and stairs uncomfortable but it’s okay.

BAD EXPERIENCE

Shortly after my checkout I realized that I had forgotten some important personal effects, both economically and emotionally, in my room. I immediately contacted the hotel, but no one seemed to have seen them. They had taken them without authorization. BAD EXPERIENCE.

I read on the net they accepted pets. When I arrived they refused to give me my reservation because I have a small dog. They refused to refund my money. They told me to get my money from Booking.com and they have refused also to refund my money. 88€ is no small sum to forfeit to at my age of 82.

The location

The woman at the entrance is not very polite. If you have suitcases it’s better to avoid higher floors because there’s no lift.

Place near metro and center

The rooms are so cold, they don’t have a heater, they have hot A/C, which is terrible, because it keeps turning on and off all night long, also the blankets are so light and not warm enough, moreover the sink in the bathroom is soo smalll, u cannot wash ur face there.

It was so cold in the room. I was freezing at night and waking up ice cold. Even though they provide and AC on on 22 degrees it was still so cold. Could barely stay there and the bathroom was like an igloo. Extremely cold. The hotel stuff not so friendly. It was a young guy around 20 years old that was not so professional and friendly with the guests when we checked in.

A total disappointmentThe dreariest hotel I have ever stayed in.The noisy refrigerator , the shower that despite hours after using it still drips water despite having turned off the faucetThe windows can not be opened is not allowedWhenever these problems are brought up the staff react very arrogantlyThe room is not cleaned rather only towels are changed and you are given a roll of cartigenicsThe staff in charge is very nice but the front desk leaves something to be desired.On my arrival despite having paid the full amount I had to pay another 240 + another $100 between taxes and deposit and other services despite the fact that on the site where I had booked I had already paid these fees for taxes and extra services .The staff when I disputed this reacted rudely especially one girl with very long nails and unprofessional appearance it was as if she had heard this complaint from me a hundred other times from other customers.THE report do not go to this hotel :Bathrooms not working , pay extra on arrival , windows you cannot open ( hotel rule ) rude and superficial staffAt this soon you will find betterDespite everything Miami remains a wonderful city for vacation.

Very comfortable bed, very quiet hotel, good breakfast, nice staff, everything is around this location…

- the room was cleaned daily- the bed was confortable- the room had all the necessary facilities, including a blow dryer- quiet- the staff was friendly and helpful and allowed us to keep our bags in the reception after we checked out, until we left for our flight

- both the room and bathroom were small- it gets cold at night

Nice, clean rooms with everything you needed for a few nights in Paris. Metro and bus stations close by

The hotel closed at 11pm and we informed that we could not arrive until midnight- we were told hotel would close at 1130pm - we had to book alternative accommodation for the first night - we booked in the following morning and no concession or refund was offered - not even an apology
