Hotel Aida Marais

Super location in Paris for restaurants, bars, cafes etc and only 15 minutes walk from 2 main train stations. Metro close by also. Very good price for Paris with the room a decent size.

Internal window and not very sound proof but happily it was quiet

On arrival Friday morning the welcome from the receptionist was fabulous - helpful, friendly and very thorough - an excellent young man. There was another young man on duty at night who was also fantastic. The hotel was in a very quiet street and very convenient. The shower was hot and excellent pressure, the bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet. There is also a wonderful boulangerie next door.

The layout of the room was strange as the window wasn't in the main room but in a sort of annex. The coffee machine was basic and too large for the space available and the choice of tea wasn't very interesting.

Great location (5 minutes walk) for concert at Alhambra Theatre. Clean and quiet room. Friendly staff.

Room was clean and tidy, shower was great, bed was comfortable. Location was ideal for the places we wanted to visit.

Location was great, it’s our second visit here and will return again soon. Rooms are lovely and clean with a lovely breakfast. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Staff were nice. Close to metro stations, and in a nice area surrounding. Room was upgraded to balcony on top floor. Given free late checkout for extra hour. Allowed free snacks in reception and given free can of fanta in room upon arrival.

Breakfast was underwhelming, but not horrible. Phone in room was broken but no big deal. TV was outdated and only had tv stations, no netflix/youtube available.

Small bathroom but functional

Have stayed at the Aida Marais a few times and it never disappoints. Great location, close to metro stations, great bars and restaurants while the hotel is always clean, has good sized rooms, and the staff are fantastic.

The pillow are a little thin and soft, which seems to be more of a Europe thing than specific to this hotel. Not the end of the world though.

Fabulous location and bed was incredibly comfy. Quiet as well which was nice! Easy to get to and from.

Room was very hot, even after turning off the heating. Shower was also a bit leaky, tv remote also didn’t work.

Good breakfast and clean rooms, free refreshments at the lobby

Blockage of 50€ on credit card at check-in. Read the “important information” part carefully if you don’t like it.

Location is great. There is a bakery extremely popular with the locals. Delicious croissants there.

The room had no window to the outside, just the the inner atrium, so no real fresh air went in. One day there was no hot water, so no chance to take a shower. No refund for that inconvenience was made.

Good location close to Le Maris, about 5-7 minutes walk to the nearest metro station. Plenty of bakeries nearby and a dew grocery stores. The hotel offered some light snacks throughout the day.

Be careful about booking room 601 on the top floor. Although the room was fine, the bathroom was very narrow. If you are taller than 5 foot 11 inches, you will hit your head when standing up at the toilet. Also, the shower leaks constantly when showering. We informed the hotel staff several times, and they attempted to fix the problem, but it’s not fixable with the current design. Water leaks out constantly from the shower door onto the floor when showering. Nothing can be done to stop the water from continuously leaking onto the bathroom floor. It’s very annoying to constantly cleanup the bathroom floor after showering. Other than this problem with the bathroom in room 601, the room itself is fine.

Location

Cleanliness. Rooms were very dirty, bedsheets pillows and bath towels all dirty and no one from the hotel is changing even if you throw them on the ground they put back the same. Also there were few insects inside the room.
