    Pros +

    • The rooms were small, but tidy. The bathroom had been updated with cute tile. We were greeted kindly and the gentleman offered to help with our bags. Check in and out was quick. It is close to the train station.
    • The location of this hotel was amazing. Location was near the train station and plenty to eat.
    • It was a great value for the price. If you are visiting Paris to walk and explore, this is a wonderful location. Very hip and young crowd. The staff is great.

    Cons -

    • There was no air conditioning and the only way to get air was to open the windows for a breeze, which had no screen and just curtains. Tight room and a lot of stairs unless you can fit in the very tiny old elevator. Just an old, Parisian style hotel.
    • The room was extremely small, the staff were not very friendly, you have to leave your room key with the desk when you leave, the room was hot, walls are very thin.
    • Everything, Web site says children are welcome, but in reality they charged me double for just that reason. No breakfast served. Scary to enter to the building, rude behavior of the front desk personnel, foul odour in rooms, not even decent bed sheet/towel

It can get loud on weekend nights on the street outside of the hotel. Bring earplugs!

The location was great just next to Gare de l'Est with a balcony. The receptionnist eas very professional.

Cramped, thin walls and the TV didn't work for all channels.

I don’t like anything about the property it is very dirty and uncomfortable

Location, closeness to the train station.

The hallways are too smelly, and having cigarette smoke scents, besides the staff ain't friendly.

    Bad

It was very old, dirty, smoke smell on the corridors, no towels on the first night, terrible bed, stains on the walls and the curtains.

LOCATION, CHECKING INN EXPERIENCE, INTERNET AND PRIVACY.

I SPENT WALKING MORE THAN HALF AN HOUR SEARCHING FOR THE SMALL HOTEL AND THE SMALL STREET, IT IS RATHER DARK AND EVEN SOME HOTELS AROUND DID NOT LOCATE EXACTLY THE HOTEL. YOU HAVE TO HO UPSTAIRS ONE ETAGE, AND THEY THERE IS A GOOD ELEVATOR.

    4KeilaPosted on: 9-25-2025

Location is near metro station. It’s above a KFC.

This hotel is old and in need of so much repair. Bathroom door doesn’t close or have a lock.No AC. No fan. One outlet to charge. The outlet is by exist so you have to unplug to open door. Walls are falling apartVery small and narrow. Other rooms open a door and it feels like there opening your door that’s how thin the walls are. No toiletries. The price is excessive for the condition of this place Shameless.

    Very poor

The "recepionist" said he could speak English. He couldn't really. He didn't ask for my passport or i.d. but asked me to pay him 2.60 Euro. For what I don't know. The whole building was old, with paint peeling off the walls and overall it just looked dirty. The room itself was only passable. I didnt even sleep inside the sheets...just wrapped the top "blanket" around me.. The "private shower" was just a wet room along with a toilet. The noise outside the whole night was awful...roadworks traffic and people shouting. I only wanted it for a few hours before catching a train literally across the road...but this place was AWFUL.

Baggage storage was very easy and free of charge.

Hallways are very narrow, tricky with larger baggage.

Excellent location, right beside Gare de Lest.Great view from the top floor.

Old building, and a busy, noisy area.
