Pros +
- Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The room was large for Paris and had a balcony which we weren’t expecting. Pleasant surprise. For the price, can’t beat it in Paris.
- Very good location. Value for money was fair for Paris. Bathroom (although tiny) had been redone, and the shower was good.Despite the problems listed below I would not rule out staying here again, as long as I was promised new pillows (and I would bring earplugs).
- The location is excellent. The staff, Mohammed, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He explain to us how to move around Paris and that helped us make the most of our stay. The room was comfortable and quiet.
Cons -
- The major problem with this hotel is the lack of soundproofing. I could hear everything! Not only noise from the hallway, but also people talking (just talking, not even shouting) in other rooms, TV's in other rooms, chairs being dragged, toilets flushing, showers running- everything! Earplugs are a must for anyone planning to stay here, and honestly the hotel should consider handing them out to guests on arrival. Between business trips and holidays I stay at about a dozen different hotels every year, and this was the noisiest one I can remember. There were a few annoying things that the hotel could fix easily for a better guest experience, including more clothes hangers (only 2 provided) and more hooks in the bathroom (only 1- I could hang either the bath towel or the hand towel, not both). The biggest problem though was the pillows! The pillows I found on the bed were so lumpy it felt like someone had stuffed a bunch of old ropes into a pillowcase, by far the worst pillows I've tried in my life! I absolutely could not sleep on them! I found a spare pillow in the cupboard, and it was much better, but still uncomfortable.
- I like it all, even the very small lift.
- The hotel entrance could be better - the carpets look a bit shabby. Also the breakfast bar is not very inspiring and could do with more selection and decent size plates. The lock for my room was very stiff and hard to open - could do with an upgrade to a modern card lock system. Was surprised they are still using old fashioned keys for the rooms.

The room was pretty good and a decent size and had a nice shower. The bed was comfortable and I slept very well. Location was excellent and very easy to get around. You can walk to Gard De Nord station in 10 minutes or the La Fayette store in about 20 minutes. Plenty places to eat and its a cracking area. There is also a Basic Fit gym near by if you want to work out.I found the staff very pleasant and helpful.

10mins walk from the metro, 20mins walk to hop in hop off bus. 20min walk to moulin rouge. Hotel staff are extremely helpful and very friendly.
Nothing everything was ok

The location was not too bad. And they changed sheets and towels everyday.
The staff was super unfriendly. The room was dusty and it was extremely loud.
Location for exploring Montmartre is excellent. The room had a balcony with seating that was very charming. Staff was a bit cold and unfriendly, but not to the point of rudeness. One clerk tried to upsell transportation to the airport via a private taxi via a call from his phone and advised us that the train was “complicated.” It’s not. The train is easy and cost a few euros vs. the €60+ the hotel clerk offered.
The café at the corner is not very nice and attracts a loud, unruly crowd.
Location
Pleace need deep cleaning. Reception staff did not spoke a word in english. I paid for the breakfast and once i come on the morning (hour before closing time) nothing left, even not bread. Again person at receprion did not understand a word so i left hungry. Housekeeping do not knok to the door just enter,
A nice hotel in a good location. Spacious, clean, comfortable room with a good view from my balcony. Presence of a lift helped to reach higher levels with a suitcase.
The location was perfect, many local restaurants in the neighbourhood and very kind, helpful staff.
The room should have been cleaner
The room was perfect with a lot of space, a beautiful balcony .The staff very nice and helpful
the most horrific hotel experience of my life
1. hotel staff left us outside the door for 7 minutes saying the hotel closed and to sleep on the street as i was going on he “jokingly” hit my back twice as i was coming in, after i escalated matters he said they apologized and said he was joking and did not mean it, we are tourists who do not even understand french.2. got woken up at 6 in the MORNING by a crazy lady knocking on our door and trying to get in, i open the door for her startled, shes half naked in her underwear almost forcing herself in because she wants to go in and use my bathroom, when i called the reception to check the cameras to see who this person is, they said they needed a manager to check that and just completely ignored me horrible security3. dentures just casually in the hotel entrance in front of the elevator4. tint little insects unsure if theyre bed bugs i have videos of them on the bed moving5. lastly, any decent hotel or booking platform would 100% refund me i had the most horrible traumatic experience of my life we could not even sleep the other nights because of how we were woken up on the first night, no refund no nothing they asked me to right a review, shame on booking.com and the hotel for this horrible service, i have booked my entire europe trip with booking.com almost 6 accomidations other than what i have booked before, a refund is more than fair, i got nothing but leave a review so here is my review that i hope everyone sees, this trip will be the last time me my family members or friends will use this platform to book anything
Location and friendly staff
The room was extremely small not like what was displayed in the pictures
Location is excellent, pretty square with numerous restaurants, cafes and bars in the area. Beds were comfortable, shower was hot and pressure great! Plenty towels and toiletries provided.
Nothing!
Staff were friendly and was very clean, location was perfect too
The plug sockets were coming out of the wall when you tried to take your phone charger out and was some loose wires on the lights
Great central location. Clean and spacious room. Great price - excellent value. I found the bed comfortable (I slept like a log the two nights I was there) and the room quiet. Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised given the price
Some of the reception staff weren’t that friendly (though some were lovely!) and - this is a really really minor gripe! - could have been just a little more generous with tea/coffee sachets and clothes hangers in the room
Great location. Louvre museum 20 minutes walk away. Polite staff. Many different cafes, bakeries, pizzeria, restaurants and a grocery store nearby. Metro station nearby. Comfortable and clean room. 24-hour reception, which is important. We were pleased with our stay and recommend this hotel.
There is no such.
Hotel Corona was a fabulous stay for us in Paris! Great location, very friendly welcome, comfortable beds, bright and clean. It was a lucky find for us - wish we could’ve stayed longer.
I returned to this hotel after a great stay last time. It is in a great area, a nice basic hotel and the staff are helpful.
