The rooms are tiny and the bathrooms even tinier.

The always genuinely smiling and friendly people of French Theory really went above and beyond to make our night in Paris one of our best stays abroad so far!

The shower leaked excessively

Good location for the 5th Arrondishment (sp) - the Latin Quarter - good eats/bakeries in the area. Able to ride the Metro from train station to nearby stop (M4 line) - about 10" walk from Odeon or Saint Michal (2.50e.) The Bonjour RATP app on cell phone = easily buy/load tickets - then it's simple to access the Metro (and avoid the ticket lines.) Much to do and see and taste + close access to other venues. Room was very clean and it's great to have a music lounge in the basement, and a library on the ground floor (some in English!) = a great vibe. Staff were very pleasant and helpful - front desk open 24-7. Didn't try their breakfast - seemed a bit high in cost - but it was commented that all was cooked in house. The cookies were great! Found good breakfast 5" walk away, across from Lux Park in the 15e price range. There's also McD's and BK near there. Close to Luxembourg Park-The Pantheon-Saint Chappell-Notrie Dame-the Seine, etc. World-class jazz and Cabaret are a 15" walk away, Eiffell Tower not far away (walking.) For attending any of these venues it's best to get tickets in advance AND plan to get there early. Lines were long (e.g. arrived at the jazz club over 1.5 hours early = one of the first to enter, got seats, then got drinks-they pack the people in. Will plan to stay here again.

Street in front tore up - doing reconstruction - they easily moved me to a courtyard room. Slow to get hot water for shower = water waste. Apple phone didn't work for texts & messageing while in the room - couldn't tether to my cell phone for computer access so had to rely on their Wi-Fi (prefer not to, but no choice.)

Excellent location. In the heart of the city, very close to the RER station also.

A stylish hotel in the great location. Everyone was friendly.The room was really quiet for Paris, and one could sleep perfectly.The best part is the cafe on the ground floor with the great coffee and quiches.

Great location for a decent price. Small room, but was not a problem since I was mostly outside.

My room was cleaned even though I had the "do not disturb" sign on the door (this happened once). The doors do not block sound from the hallway very well, but most of the time it was quiet.

Location, Location, Location. In the heart of the Latin Quarter, walking distance to Jardin Luxumbourg, many cafes, Sorbornne, and easy access to Metro and RER-B from the Charles-de-Gaule Airport.Lobby has nice design hotel vibe, with cafe and boutique adjacent to check-in area.Lounge/ library area behind lobby is a nice touch.

Rooms may be a bit on the small side (for some travellers)Bed is a bit soft for my taste (I prefer firm bed).

Good neighborhood. Close to RER B and Metro. Felt safe as a solo traveler.

Clean room

The staff that greeted us was very rude, and although you advertised wine when we asked for a glass of wine, the woman said that there wasn’t any.

we had a middle of the night fire alarm and we did exit building and staff was calm and helpful but I did not really know what was going on- communication could have been a bit better

The staff are excellent and well-trained. They are ALWAYS available. Location is incredible. Easy access to 5e and 6e and everything in between. Water pressure is phenomenal and always tons of hot water. Towels are outstanding. Heat works great! Everything is SUPER CLEAN.

First time I’ve stayed in a street side room. Room 27. High ceiling, but they need new windows. It’s not the hotel’s fault, but ANY street room in Paris contends with noise. Shower heads need to be updated.

I loved the zen feeling of the space. Plus, the cool sound room and reading areas were lovely! Lots of cool hang spaces in the hotel for those rainy moments or early mornings.

It was a little pricy... or I would love to stay longer.

Some drainage issues in the bathroom but otherwise perfect
