Peace & Love Hostel

There were bedbugs on my bed and got bitten extensively even staying one night. I informed the staff and the reaction was nothing short of "bummer". The room felt dirty, the bed cheap with no protection like in other hostels.

The man on reception brought my suitcase downstairs to hold it as the bedroom was on the top floor. The staff were friendly.

I couldn't stay there as it was horrifically claustrophobic. The staircase was so narrow and they had crammed 4 beds into a tiny room - three bunkbeds, including one so close to the ceiling that it brought on a panic attack & having 3men and 1 woman.

You can't enter into bathroom of Room no 17 and take shower ..it's for showcase ...we were three people and no one could take shower

I absolutely loved my stay at Hostel Peace and Love! Everything was perfect, but the reception staff deserve a special mention. They are super friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything. Thanks to them, my stay was even better. Highly recommend this hostel!

We had a very bad experience at Peace & Love Hostel. On the first day, the staff gave us the wrong room. Instead of the 4-person room we booked and paid for (more expensive), we were placed in a cheaper 8-person room. The room was overcrowded and extremely uncomfortable.The manager was rude, did not apologize, and refused to return the money for the first day, even though the mistake was clearly theirs. They also did not accept responsibility for this inconvenience at all.On top of that, in the wrong room the fire alarm was going off for around 3 hours in the evening, making it impossible to rest. The hostel also smelled of green stuff, which was very unpleasant.The kitchen was dirty and poorly maintained.Overall, very disappointing experience. Bad management, no respect for guests, and no accountability. I do not recommend this hostel.

We had two unpleasant experiences. The first night, people were very noisy. We couldn't sleep. The second day, someone knocked on our door twice at 3 a.m. We were afraid someone would break into our room. We didn't feel safe there. This is not a safe neighborhood. Furthermore, the bedding wasn't fresh and we were disgusted by it. We definitely don't recommend this place.

I do not know where to begin. The owners do not speak English well. They have a pub on the first floor, blast terrible music the whole night, and suspicious people are always there.I needed to get an ambulance, and hosts and their friends, and some other people were so drunk and inadequate that they were still trying to talk to the emergency service instead of me. They did not care about the safety of the guests. The room was dirty and very cold, and the sheets were filthy, too. So, I do not know…. The location is good, but other than that, it is pretty bad, to be honest.

I didn't have anything to like about this place.

..it was horrible, bathroom stinks and too too tiny to even shower properly, the noise outside ...out of this world, the room too tiny..I mean extremely tiny to host 1 person but apparently hosts 3 people...The receptionist is extremely rude and loud, I ended up booking some other place,losing money in the process...I DONT RECOMMEND THUS PLACE AT ALL...!

It's a fire death trap.The halls amd stairs are extremely narrow.The bunks are extremely high, with no railings to prevent you from falling down from a very high triple bunk bed. There is about 1 foot of space above each mattress. The place absolutely sucks.

The location for sure. Close to Gare du Nord, 15 minutes walk, the road is full of stores, brasseries and little restaurants, both ethnic and typical. Crowded night life and a nice park close by, nice after dinner walks.

They maximize the money they get from one single room, that means a triple bunk bed in a room as big as a closet. No space to move, the shower is 1 mt square, the toilet is outside, down the stairs..ON THE STAIRS. Not easy to use at night. Not worth the money AT ALL. Please just CHECK the room type you are getting because they assume that not writing the type means you are accepting a MIXED dormitory. My sister and I had to share a room with a big bearded dude that snored loudly the whole night long and kept the lights on. Exhausting. And guess what? The property didn't do anything to compensate the fact that the room we got was NOT consistent with the reservation.
